I quickly sidestepped as the guard tried to grab me. "Hey!" he yelled and I slapped him, hard. Ouch. 

I sprinted down the corridor and passed by loads of rooms. And corridors. Then I stopped. He had to be here. Somewhere. 

"Jesse?" I whispered and I heard a door knob rattle faintly. 

I went towards it and somehow.. I felt him close. I tried to open the door but found it locked. I scowled and whipped out a knife. Carefully, I picked the lock with my knife.  

(you should try it sometime, my mom locked me in a room once,  and I unlocked it with a knife. Took me a long time -forever_jetra) 

And saw him.
