Loveth was so embarrassed! Her crush, the most intelligent boy in her class and finest boy in the entire Highlander high school saw her stained.

He walked away acting as if he saw nothing but she was too embarrassed to move. Thankfully, she had her school cardigan in her bag, so she tied them around her waist then left the school to get pad.

Why would her monthly visitor come at the wrong time?! She thought.

Thankfully, a small mallam sold just opposite her school. She crosses over and used her food money to get one. She would never be able to look at him in the eyes anymore.

After cleaning herself and doing her business in the school restroom, she walked out to go for her next class, what would she say, she thought? Second period have started already.

Loveth waited at the chemistry lab which was their third lesson for today since she was already late for her economics class and she wouldn't want an extra embarrassment from her economics teacher.

Soon, students came into the lab, all rushing to take a good sit and sit with their friends. James and loveth eye met and she quickly looked away. There was no way, she'd be able to look at him knowing he knows she's on her period.

Toyin observed Loveth moody expression and nudged for her to speak up. Loveth explains all that had happened earlier and Toyin laughed. "You should be lucky, at least he noticed you," Toyin tells her.

Toyin knew of Loveth unrequited love for James and how she admired him from afar but got no attention.

James was a very classy and egoistic person, he was rude to the core and rarely talked to anyone. He doesn't even smile much but still looks devillishly handsome.

   Toyin thought of a plan, she smirked, she knew of a way to fulfil her friends wish. "You could go and meet him and tell him a thank you!" Toyin started.

"From there a friendship could start," Toyin explains.

"No o," Loveth spoke, not feeling comfortable to do that. "That boy is a huge snub, what if he laughs at me? Didn't you see what he did to Chioma the other day?" Loveth asks her.

Chioma wrote a love letter to James and he gave it to Damola, his best friend to read it out loud in the cafeteria. There were so many errors and punctuations correction in the letter. Chioma had cried and didn't come to school until a week later.

Girls didn't even make an attempt to ridicule themselves. "You will have to do it, you could tame the almighty James, you know?" Toyin shrugged.

"Keep dreaming," Loveth retorts as she wears her lab clothes waiting for the chem teacher to come in.

Loveth received a text from Toyin to meet her in the janitors closet and Loveth did. As soon as Loveth reached, she entered only to be met with darkness, she was about to leave when the door go closed making her flinch.

"Hello!" She yells but no reply.

"Can you keep it down already?!" She heard a familiar voice. She turned around only to be met with a flashlight pointing towards her face. She covers her eyes using her palm to shield the light.

"I'm so sorry, who are you?" The male voice asked making Loveth heart beat erractically.

"James?!" Loveth calls out.

"And you are?" He asks her.

"I'm loveth," she retorts.

"It seems someone locked the door, what brings you here?" He asks her.

"My friend asked me to meet her here," Loveth explains.

"Shit! A girl told me my friend was calling me," he tells her.

It then clicked to Loveth, Toyin had planned all this. James was talking to her and his was her chance.

She clears her throat, making an attempt to speak. "Tha...thanks for this morning," she tells him.

"It's no problem, at least the whole class didn't see it," he tells her.

"I'm grateful." She mouths.

James and Loveth are locked in the janitors closet!
