You know those stories where its close to a characters birthday and everyone is really distinct from them bc they're planning a surprise party or something

And then the character is really sad and everyone notices but doesn't do anything bc "its fine were planning a party"

And then the character is fine bc of that party!

Well I think if that ever happened to me I'd be so mad like no you can't just not talk to me for a few days and then! Wow! A party! All better!

No! I'd be! So!! Salty!!!

I wouldn't even enjoy the party at that point ahaha
