The day had finally come...

All of the Selected had been transported to the capital throughout the week, their journeys all taking different times based on where they lived. But, as soon as the last Selected had arrived... preparations that had been in place for months leading up to this day were set into action.

Every Selected was given an identical dress, a golden floor length gown with a small Marigold pinned at the shoulder. Marigold was the capital province, with beautifully landscaped hills, fields, and forests that accented the large castle sitting in the center of the largest town. This was where the princes had lived their whole lives, unnoticed and alone. The whole province was gorgeous and the capital for obvious reasons.

The Selected, after being dressed by a castle maid, were taken to a small farm just outside of town to get into their assigned carriages and mingle with the other girls. There was going to be a parade into the capital city, presenting them all to the public. It was a giant celebration for them and the princes, who would make their first public appearance in years.

Each Selected was paired with one other girl to ride with in a carriage. It was time to meet the girls you would be fighting for the prince's hearts against, the girls who you would be living with for at least the next week, the girls who you would learn to love or despise with an undying passion. Who knows what will happen...
