My hand around bailey's waist as we welcomed everyone in the new house, she tensed up when she saw lauren coming towards us.

"Hey Bailey, hey Shawn." She said giving me a kiss on the cheek but I pushed her away gently.

Bailey rolled her eyes as I kissed her cheek. Bailey glanced over my ex-girlfriend who was also rolling her eyes, she walked away as my best friends came in and hugged us.

"I swear, if she touches you one more time I'll go talk to her." Said Bailey as I chuckled.

"Stop being so jealous babe, I love you." I said kissing her lips gently.

Suddenly I felt someone hugging my leg, I looked down and saw Brooke and our parents were coming over. "Hey daddy."

I took her in my arms. "Hey sweetie, did I miss you?" She nodded as I kissed her cheek.

"Yeah. But It was so funny with grandma and grandpa." She said showing my parents

I smiled. "What did you guys do?" I asked as she started to tell me everything they did, I glanced over Bailey who was talking with a guy.

I walked towards them. "Hey babe, who is it?" I asked as she looked at the guy

"Louis, one of our neighbors." She said smiling as he nodded. "Louis, this is my boyfriend, Shawn."

"Nice to meet you Shawn." He said shaking my hand. "And who's that cutie?" He said showing Brooke who was hiding her face in my neck.

"Our daughter." I replied as he slowly nodded.

Before I wouldn't say 'our', this little word was not in my vocabulary, I was the type of guy who slept with a girl and never call her back. But, today it was different, the word 'our' was one of my favorite. I would use it when I talked about our house, our daughter, our room, our family.

When he left, Bailey nudged me and smiled. "Our, eh?"

I stuttered. "I mean-" She cut me off

"No it's okay love, it was cute." She said kissing my cheek. "It's our daughter."

I smiled and leaned down for meeting her perfect lips. I kissed them gently as she smiled against mine. "I love you." She whispered

"I love you more."

The rest of the evening was great. Bailey stayed by my side while Brooke was running everywhere, one time she was with our parents the other time she was with Brian.

When they all left, we showed Brooke her room and went in our. We both fell asleep very quickly.
