*5 Months Later...*

*James's POV*

We decided to name our little girl Allie.

Lily, Harry, and I was going to Sirius's house to ask him if we could stay with him until the new babies were here so he could help us out with Harry and Allie.

With Harry in my arms and Lily holding my hand, we disapparated to Sirius's house. I hand Harry to Sirius. Then, we ask, "Sirius, can we stay here with you until little Allie and arrive?"

"Of course," Sirius replied. "I would be honored if you stayed here with me as long as you stay after you have little Allie so I can spend some time with them." "Deal?" Sirius asked us.

We looked at each other and smiled. "Okay," we said together.

"Can I talk to you alone, Sirius?" I asked him. "Sure," he replied and Sirius, still holding Harry in his arms, and I walked into the kitchen to talk.

"You see, I've never Lily or Harry alone at night since what happened to Amanda. I love them so much and I know you would give your life for them any of us. And I thank you for that. I got to go back to our house and get a few things, okay?" I tell Sirius.

"Okay," Sirius replied. "Let me guess, if anything happens while you all are here, you want me to protect Lily and Harry, don't you?" Sirius asked smiling at me.

"If you don't mind, yes please. " I said back to Sirius.

"I will give my live up for them if I have to," he replied. This made me sit down and start crying. Sirius just stood there and comforted me.

I got up, went back into the living room, kissed, hugged, and said, "Bye, I love you" to Lily. I turned back around then I did the same thing to Harry. I hugged Sirius and disapparated back to our house.

I grabbed as many bags as I could and disapparated back to Sirius's house. I dropped the bags where I was standing. I said, "Just a few more bags." Then, I disapparated back to our house, again.

I grabbed the rest of the bags and disapparated back to Sirius's house. I dropped the bags and ran into the living room and kissed Lily's whole face. Of course, Sirius was watching me and making" gross" faces behind Lily. Then, I did the same thing to Harry's face. This time, Sirius was just watching me and smiling. I turned to Sirius, took Harry out of his arms, placed him on the floor to play, and wrapped Sirius in a great big bear hug and thank him for everything.

After about 4 nights of being at Sirius's house, Lily gives birth to a healthy baby girl. Allie was born at 11:00 p.m. on June 16, 1983. James and Lily gave Sirius the honor of being the Allie godfather.

Sirius had Harry in his arms while Lily had Allie and I was sitting beside her.

"Do you want to hold Allie while I love on Harry?" Lily asked Sirius.

"Yes. Very much," he replied. Sirius sat Harry on Lily's lap and picked up Allie.

The only thing that Sirius could do was smile. Anyone that knew him would know that he was overwhelmed with joy.

Almost an hour later, Sirius had Allie in his arms while she slept and the next thing we know Allie is crying and Sirius is covered in spit up.

Lily handed me Harry and had Sirius hand Allie to her because she wanted to comfort her. As soon as he handed Allie to Lily, she stopped crying. Then, Sirius went to go clean himself up.

After a week of staying with Sirius, we went back home. It was really weird. We had asked Sirius if he would come and stay with us, but he didn't want to intrude. Sirius thought that we should be alone during that first week home, but agreed to visit a few evenings.

"If it's okay with you, I will come and stay the week after,"Sirius said to us. We looked at each other, smiled while trying not to laugh, and nodded our head in unison.

We went home. Lily cooked dinner, ate the delicious meal, played with the children for a couple of hours, and put the kids to bed. By the time we got in bed that night, we were both exhausted. Allie and Harry slept all night long and much of the morning which that was a triple bonus for Lily and I.
