Norris Was the Second oldest, and He had a Great sense of hearing. Out of all of his Siblings, no one could compare to his hearing abilities.

When Norris heard music, He would always go to the correct room, just to listen to it.

One day...

Oscar- "Alright, Norris, find the Phone."

Norris found the Phone 5 times in a Row, and even Mr. Harston was impressed.

But then, Mr. Harston had an Idea, and he thought this would be a Good Idea.

Mrs. Harston- "That is a Terrible, no, Horrible Idea! What about your son's feelings, He'll be Sad!"

Mr. Harston- "We have the other Dogs, he can play with them."

Mrs. Harston- "But He loves Norris, don't you dare do this to him, Harris!"

Mr. Harston- "Sorry Love, but-"

Hope walks to the Dresser, and Gets some of her clothes out, and She puts it into a bag.

Mr. Harston- "Hey, What are you doing?"

Hope- "I am leaving."

Harris- "Just because You don't want me to make Norris Useful?"

Hope- "You are going to break your son's Heart. I will be Back when you change your mind, or at least when you calm down."

Harris- "Where are You even Going to? Hope! Hope, answer me! HOPE!"

As Hope Opened the door, Norris cuddles up to Her, because he heard Everything.

Hope- "You don't know what he wants to do with You, But hopefully, He doesn't go along with it.

As hope Walks away, into The Car, Norris wonders if he should Run away, Or should he Just accept it.

Next day, A knock on the Door Alarmed the Dogs, everyone, except Norris.

Harris- "Oh, hey."

an Army soldier Came into the House, and Asked...

"Which one Is Norris, the Dog you said had good hearing?"

Harris- "It's That one."

Norris came up to the Army soldier, He wasn't Worried, He wasn't shaking.

Soldier- "Heel!"

Norris went to the Soldier's Heel.

Soldier- "Sit!"

Norris Sat down.

Soldier- "Alright... He Ain't bad, but We need to put him up to the Test."

Oscar- "Wait, Don't Take Norris!"

Soldier- "Sorry, Kid but Your father Called me to come pick the Dog up."

Oscar looked Shocked, then Disappointed.

Norris' family said goodbye, while Oscar Looked Emotionless.

Norris Was then Taken to the Base, and He was taught to Search for bombs, and Injured Soldiers, but He Always wondered, what would be the Outcome, if he Ran away.
