Hello! For all intents and purposes, my name is _____________. Yep, that's right. Call me whatever you want, 'cause I'm not gonna tell you what my real name is. 

Anyways, I just wanted to post this because there will be certain triggers and other things that I should probably warn you, the reader, about. These include, but are not absolutely limited to:

     *depression, specifically America

     *self-harm, such as cutting and maybe burning

     *eating disorders

     *suicidal actions, tendencies, and thoughts 

     *self-hatred, very low self-esteem

     *alcohol consumption

     *drug usage

     *mild sexual content; I will tell if there is any explicit content

     *abuse, specifically verbal and emotional and some physical

I think that list just about covers it. If you have any problems with these things, are against them, or this will majorly trigger you, then please do not read this book. I write to express myself and let my feelings translate into my writing. Or, if you're like me and read these fanfics because they're relatable, then OK. 

I started watching Hetalia in the summer of 2018 and it is, to date, one of my favorite shows. I love the character of Alfred (America) not only because America is my home country, but Alfred's character is hilarious and relatable, and also kind of dumb. 

Also, West Virginia, a state in America (yes, an actual state. i promise. just look it up. founded in 1863 and still technically illegally a state. i promise its NOT a part of Virginia [well at one point but then the civil war happened. . .]. but i promise its legit) is heavily mentioned and will be reference A LOT. It will also be one of the main settings of this book. And that's how I got the title. Yes, Almost Heaven. From a song, ya know? 

     Almost Heaven, West Virginia. Blue Ridge Mountain, Shenandoah River. Life is old there. . . 

Yeah, that song! I'll link it in the media box. It's a great song actually. 

My main point about this was that I know a lot about this state because I lived (well or currently live, your choice. i'm not giving that away, though i think if you look in my books elsewhere on my account you can probably find that information) there. Honestly, it's a beautiful place.
