If there weren't people here, there were probably people in New York City. New York City was very crowded and there ought to be people there. Brad walked home. He started getting ready. Then the lights started flickering and they went out.
"Darn." Said Brad. "Now there's no electricity." Brad thought of what he would need. He got his backpack and then he filled it with a lot of canned food and put a can-opener in. Then he put some water bottles in it. Then he stuffed a sleeping bag in.
He looked in the refrigerator, but it wasn't working so he took some fruit out of it and put in in a cooler and some unmelted ice. At least it wouldn't spoil quite as fast as it would in the refrigerator. He was ready.
Brad walked out of the house dragging the cooler with him. He had walked quite a long way, when he started getting hungry. He took some food out of the cooler and ate it when he realized something. He had forgotten his bike.
Luckily for him, there was a Models sporting goods nearby. Expecting the door was unlocked like the houses, he opened the door. It was locked. He looked inside the glass door and there were bikes and helmets and everything he needed. He just had to get in. He picked up a rock and was just about to threw it at the door. Then a thought came to him. The police would come. That was it! He would love the police to come. That was at least better than being alone.
He threw the rock at the glass. It made one small crack. He picked it up and threw it again. This time, the rock split the glass and it shattered into 1000 pieces. He went through the door and found a nice blue bike and the helmet he had always wanted. He put down the cooler and he got out of the store and started biking and biking. The sun was just starting to set, when he was at the George Washington bridge. Brad thought he would spend the night in New Jersey then head into the city in the morning. He looked around for a store or a restaurant but all the signs were in Korean. He was hungry so he broke into a random restaurant. He didn't bother trying the door, he just threw a rock right through the fro t door. He opened a display of something that looked like sushi but with meat and vegetables. Then he remembered what it was. It was kimbop and it was something very delicious that he had had at his Korean friends house. He opened the display and it was still cold. Some of the food was unwrapped and there was an open jar of Kim Chee on the counter. He knew from past experience that he would not be eating that stuff. Brad started stuffing the kim nap into his mouth when he heard something. A thud then a little yelp. He slowly walked to where the noise came from, just in time to see The door swing shut. He ran to the door and shouted. "Hey! Come back here!" He wasn't sure but he thought he saw a figure disappear around the corner. It did not look human it looked almost like a... Ghost.
