Chapter 3

More and more people start to walk into the backyard as the BBQ kicked off.

As normal I stand to the side and wait for my two besties to show up.

I wouldn't say I'm shy, but unless you know me personally then it would look that way. I knew everyone in this town. Honestly I did.

Blonde bimbo Sally, owns the small bakery down the street from the car dealership. She brings Kaleb a box of donuts daily in hopes of winning him over. He isn't interested in the towns hoe bag.

Then there is Alexander with his floppy light brown hair and grass kissed eyes. He could flirt the pants off any female in town. Unless it was me. He stayed pretty damn far away from me and I find it hilarious as all get up.

We even have a town clown, Gamble. With this bright red hair he stands out like a sore thumb in our town. Meaning we only have four read heads here and three of those are his children. No matter what mood your in, when you see him you can't help but smile.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I notice two people I love the most, other then my family walk out in to the backyard. The house rule doesn't apply to them. They've been my family since I was in diapers.

Running to them with a shit eating grin on my face, I jump on Austin straddling his hips, while giving him the biggest hug ever. My warm fuzzy cuddly tear bear.

"Wow, if I had known you loved me this much Issy I would have tried to get in your pants sooner," he chuckles. His hands gripping my ass tightly.

That's Austin for you. I think he secretly has a huge crush on me. I try not to lead him on at all, but some times I cant help it. I mean look at that body of his, it's to die for and I so mean that. With a six pack drawing down to a v-line, he looks sexy in shorts and flip-flops.

He works at the gym as Blake's main manger. During work hours he lifts weights and does private lessons. Mostly girls who crave his attention. Navy blue eyes, dark brown trusses and a chiseled jaw you crave to kiss.

Not only does jumping on his back infuriate the female population, but he doesn't feel a thing. It's as if I weigh a mere feather to him.

"Oh shut up Austin you know I've just missed you guys. It feels like I haven't seen you two knuckle heads in years even though it's only been a week." I slap him over the back of the head with a chukle. My soft smack probably didn't register as pain. More as an annoying bug.

"And who's fault is that woman? Huh?" Sarai smiled at me. Her grey eyes shining bright up at me, as I shift to Austin's back.

My little Asian friend just loved putting all the blame on me. Her cute tiny nose matches her ears and stature. Straight black hair flows freely down her. A beautiful nymph if I didn't say so myself.

"I know, I know I should have dragged my happy butt out of the house, but I just felt like being lazy this week. Its not my fault." Pouting a little. A few photoshoots was lazy, though I did lounge around in my pj's nearly all day long.

"Anyways love, have you heard about the new group of people coming to town?" Austin said as he lifted me up a little on his hips to get a better grip.

"Nope not really, Hunter just said there was about hundred plus people and for some reason unknown to him and everyone else they decided to move here. I honestly don't know why that many people would want to move here. We are in the middle of no where, not much to do other than have BBQ's, hang out at the mall and walk around the woods."

I shrug my shoulers. These people have to be off their rockers.

"Who knows, but I'm guessing we will find out sooner or later, there is bound to be lots of yummy gossip. We all know that there will be at least a couple hot guys in the group and once they are spotted by the bitch brigade they stand no chance at all. " Sarai giggles.

The bitch brigade includes Sally, Jessica, Trisha and last but not least Sasha, the worst out of all of them. They've banged nearly half the towns male population.

"That is so true, I kinda feel sorry for them now," I sigh a little bit. The bitch brigade isn't a nice welcome comity.

"Issy, Im worried about you. You have never been on a date before where one of your brothers hasn't sent the man running. Your twenty-three years old for crying out loud. If I see a hot guy in the new group, Im sending him your way." Sarai spoke while walking towards the tables of food.

Austin follows silently after her. This part of our conversations usually tends to get awarkward with him.

"Go ahead and try and hook me up with a guy, but you know my brothers will never allow it. You've seen how they act when I mention going on a date. Not to mention how all five of them show up during the middle of it to scare the guy off. It's as if I have a big fat red target on my forehead that say off limits, these days."

Austin sits down on the wood bench. Craving human touch I plop down on his lap before grabbing a plate and piling yummy goodness on it.

It was utterly frustrating having a love life with five over the top possessive brothers. I'm going to be the lady with ninty-one dogs at the age for forty because I still have my virginity.

"Well your brothers are all stupid for not allowing you to have fun," Sarai says between bites of her double bacon cheese burger.

These BBQ's cost quiet a bit of money. Kane and the guys do have a savings fund and amazing jobs, but that doesn't mean they are made of money. Everyone donates once a month to the BBQ fund. It's whatever your able to donate. One month you maybe add more money to the pot then the previous month.

And if you haven't donated in over three months, your talked to privately. If your in dire need of money, Kane pulls from the fund and helps the family out. The town's people voted on it and agreed it was a way to keep that person or family out of the gossip lines.

On the other hand if your not paying because your too freakin cheap. Which we usually get one every now and then. You'r told to never enter the backyard. We don't give out to cheapskates.

Biting into my burger, I glance between Sarai and Austin. Over the years we've gotten into a mighty bit of trouble with my brothers.

Not that Blake does a thing about it. I secretly believe he has a crush on Sarai. There's been times I've caught him looking at her out of the corner of his eyes. With longing? Possibly. It wouldn't surprise me that one of my brothers would fall for her. She is beautiful beyond measures.

Speaking of that little witch she has the biggest crush on Blake and when I mean big I mean she sneaked into his room only to get stuck in his closet for the night. He had come home early and spent the rest of the day in his room for some reason. Each time I bring that night up she turns beat red as if something else happened. For all I know she could have gotten a show of her life.

I honestly don't understand why those two aren't together by now.

"Eh, I'm over the whole dating scene." Not really, but it's something I've gotten extremely to used to. Which should be a bad thing. "So is there anything new with you two?" I ask to get my mind off my pathetic romantic life.

As they start to talk about the past week on how work went and all the new gossip that floats around a small town, I start to think about the new people. I'm curious why so many people would want to come to our town and what made them up and leave there priviest town.

Are they a bunch of thugs or something? What about murderers or even drug dealers? OH shit, what did our town get ourselves into?

Did I tell you I love to over think things a lot of the time? Well if I didn't you now know. You can give me a little situation and I will gladly blow it up to be the biggest situation in the world. But I guess that's what happens when I'm left to myself in the woods for hours on end. I got the crazy cabin fever.

At some point when Sarai is talking I smell a delicious sent. It makes my mouth water just thinking about eating it. My brothers aren't the best of cooks so someone had to have brought it. I looked down at the table next to me and tried to find where the scent came from.

It was killing me. I wanted that food, no craved it. What the heck is wrong with me? I've never wanted food this bad. Sure, I love me some pizza and chicken strips but this was bad. I felt if I didn't get that scent in my hands I would die.

Wow something I ate or drank must be going to my head. That or its the damn time of the month. If it's come early, I'm going to be pissed.

As I'm thinking to myself I hear a gasp come from Sarai. Wondering what took her breath way I look over Austin's shoulder to look at the most drop dead gorgeous man I have ever seen in my life.

If Austin didn't have an arm wrapped around my wasit, I would have fallen off the end of the bench the way the gorgeous man was staring me down.
