— WAR HAD NOT BEEN KIND TO THE WIZARDING FOLK OF GREAT BRITAIN. The Dark Lord's reign had finally ended- this time, for good. Yet the trauma that he inflicted still remained, as did the pain and grief for the many lives lost while he was in power.

Venus Carlisle tried to look past everything that had happened. She busied herself in becoming an Auror, doing great things for the Investigations Department of the Ministry. She watched her friends wed, pursue their dream jobs, have children- and try their best at settling down into whatever sort of normal life they could grab hold of.

Eventually, Venus decided she desperately needed a change of scenery- and chose to instead set her sights on a drastically different land, an entire ocean away from her home.

Los Angeles was bright, flashy, and proud; it was known for being a city of reinvention, where people went to change themselves for the better.

It was the perfect place for Venus to escape from her past, and as it so happens, the Devil himself thought exactly the same thing.

just to clarify: this is gonna be sOrt of a crossover between lucifer and harry potter as venus is gonna be a witch and she went to school with the golden trio, so some original harry potter characters will make a few appearances
