" Abhi."

" Abhi.....get up beta, you are going to be late for the college."

He heard his mother and mumbled her to wait for 10 more minutes.

" Trying to wake up your son ah? Roaming with friends outside and coming home late at nights.....how can he wake up so early?" He heard his father's shout which made him jerk his eyes open widely.

" Abhimanyu....are you getting up or shall I come up and wake you up?'

His father yelled from downstairs making him groan loudly.

" I am up.....I am up." He yelled and went into the washroom quickly.

He showered and came outside in a vest and towel wiping his face.

He went and stood in front of the mirror and...........

" AAAHHHHH........."

He yelled loudly looking at his face in the mirror.

" SANJANA.........."

He yelled again so loudly that his whole house shook as if an earthquake has come.

He ran into his balcony and yelled her name again.

" What?" She came out irritated at his voice and stood in her room's balcony.

But when she saw his face she broke into fits of laughter while he was fuming dangerously in anger.

She was laughing clutching her stomach and she can't stop as when she sees him, she again laughs.

" Stop laughing.....you look like a dying hyena while laughing like that." He said and she stopped at the insult.

Both of their parents sighed loudly shaking their heads thinking that their routine is going to start.

" I don't look like a hyena....look at your face, you look like a chimpanzee." She said and laughed again at his face.

" How dare you put that black thing on my towel?" He gritted his teeth angrily.

" Urrghhhh....go and wash your face first, otherwise someone might call a zoo complaining that a chimpanzee has been wandering in their colony." She said snorting.

" While snorting like that you sound exactly like a pig." He said.

" Buffalo." She retorted.

" Monkey." He said.

" Donkey."

" Bear."

" Hippo."

" Rhino."

" Owl."

" Dog."

" I guess today they chose animals to insult each other." Abhi's father said standing down in the front yard looking up at their fight.

" It's better today.....yesterday they were fighting with the names of the insects." Sanjana's father said looking at him standing in their front yard.

" Yesterday my luck was good then, I escaped early." Abhi's father said making him laugh.

" We better go before they go for reptiles......" Her dad said and sat in his car.

They both went away sighing in relief. Their fathers usually get out of the house before their kids start their usual fight in the morning and their mothers don't have any option so they put cotton into their ears to avoid hearing their fighting.

" Go away chimpanzee, I don't want to see your face anymore....." She yelled angrily while going inside.

" First you go away.....you already turned my day sour by showing me your pig face early in the morning." He said and she threw a stone at him.

And when he was about to hit her back, she ran inside closing her door. He cursed and went inside to clean his face.

Sanjana went to the college and was walking outside with her friends. Their college has a huge garden in the front and they were walking along the side of the garden.

Suddenly, a bike went past through her with a such a speed that she fell down on the road and she looked at the person who was getting down from the bike now.

He is coming towards her smirking while she got up with her friends help.

" You will not only die with that horrible speed of your bike but also kill others." She said gritting her teeth angrily.

" Awee....our poor Sanju fell down......check nicely if you have lost any of your brain cells as your knee got hurt." He said pointing at her scraped knee.

Everyone sighed shaking their heads as it had become their daily routine to see them fighting from the last two years.

" If my brain exists in my knee then your brain doesn't exist at all." She retorted.

" Awee.....Our Sanju is angry......" Abhi mocked.

" Don't call me Sanju....." She warned.

" Why Sanju?" He said sweetly.

" I said don't." She warned him again.

" What you will do?" He asked raising his brows.

" I will hit you." She said scowling at him.

" If you hit me, you will only get hurt." He snorted.

She slowly bent down and everyone's eyes widened.

" I will not hit you with my hand.....I will hit you with this." Saying this she showed her shoe in her hand.

His eyes widened and stepped back.

" Hey! Don't tell me you are scared......she will not hit you for real." A boy named Suresh from his gang said pushing him in the front.

" You don't know her..... Look at her, she is serious." Saying this Abhi went back while his friends are pushing him forward.

" Why are you behaving like a coward?" Suresh asked him.

" I am not a coward and she is not a saint." Abhi said moving back while Sanjana stood glaring at him with shoe in her hand.

" I know her from 2 years Abhi and you are exaggerating. I know you both always fight but she can never hurt physically....looking at her anyone can say that she can't even hurt a fly." He said while others sighed shaking their heads as they all know how she is when she gets angry.

" Suresh stop! You don't know about her......stop provoking her." Abhi gritted out hiding behind his friends who laughed at him.

" Don't butt in between them." His friends whisper yelled at Suresh.

Abhi gulped looking at her angry face.

" Arey, she is just joking...she will not hit with her shoe for real and please don't fight like this always, we can talk and solve this......right Sanjana?" His friend asked boasting himself like a peace maker.

She stays silent glaring at him.

" See......." He says looking at her silence and laughs.

His laugh dies when her shoe came flying at his face.

He looked at her shocked who is looking at them angrily.

" I told you right.... don't provoke her." Abhi said smiling tightly at his friend.

" I didn't think that she will actually do it." His friend said looking scared rubbing his face.

" You were fighting with me.....then why did you hit my friend in between?" He asked her.

" He was talking too much and it irritated me." She yelled at him.

" How dare you hit my friend?" Abhi shouted in support of his friend who snorted loudly.

A while back he was hiding scared of her and now he is acting all angry and defensive.

" I don't need any dare to hit him." She said nonchalantly looking at her nails.

" You can't insult my friend like that.....that too without my consent." He said.

Suresh frowned at his other friends who were snickering behind and thought whether Abhi is defending him or insulting him.

" We told you right! Don't ever go between them.....be it any situation." The other friend Vikram said huffing at Suresh.

" Apologize him." Abhi said seriously.

She again bent down removing her another shoe and everyone including Abhi disappeared from there instantly.

She looked up and saw there was no one in her sight. She proudly flipped her hair and walked into the college wearing back her shoes as the bell rang.

They all got seated in their class and the lecturer came in.

" Abhimanyu and Sanjana, are you both sitting far away from each other?" He asked opening the text book.

Everyone snickered silently while they both groaned loudly.

" Yes Sir." Came their reply.

" You might think I am mad for asking this question daily but I really don't want to go through that trauma again.....when you start your fight and throw meaningless insults at each other. So it's better for everyone if there is a safe distance between you two." Lecturer said sighing shaking his head.

They both looked down grumbling to themselves while others laughed at them.

" Silence!" Saying this he started his lecture.
