Marinette walked into the bakery, and into her room to find Alya sitting on her bed. She looked as if she was both mad and sad.
"I talked to your parents" Alya started, she looked as if she was about to cry. "I know you weren't actually working here. So, where were you?" She asked then added "Oh and don't worry, I didn't tell them that you left me to do who knows what!"
Marinette heart raced as fast as ever. What was she supposed to say? "I, um, well" Marinette stumbled on. "I can't tell you" she finally answered shamefully.
Tears sprung out of Alya's eyes. "Well, if you can't bother to make it to our plans, or at least tell me what you were doing, then I can't bother to be your friend." Alya said before running off.
"Alya, wait!" Marinette yelled, but it was too late. Marinette sat on her bed, crying. She felt as if her whole world went crashing down. She wanted more then anything to tell Alya her secret so she can get her back, so she doesn't have to make up a terible excuse every time she was fighting crime, she could just tell her the truth. She decided to go out and patrol the city, get some fresh air and clear her mind. Marinette transformed into Ladybug. She swung around the city with her yo-yo, before landing on a rooftop. Ladybug sat on the rooftop, her eyes filled with tears, then she heard a familiar voice.
