Third Person POV 

Y/N was standing in a locker room as he grabbed his sword before strapping it to his back. 

Y/N: The initiation is today. 
He thought to himself before closing the locker door. 

???: I wonder what those two were so worked up about. 
He heard a familiar voice before turning to see a girl in red. 

Y/N: Oh her. 

Girl in Yellow: Oh, who knows. 
She said as she turned towards the girl in red. 

Girl in Yellow: So you've seen all chirpy this morning. 
She said as she crossed her arms. 

Girl in Red: Yep. No more small talk. 
She said before opening a locker and holding her weapon in hand. 

Girl in Red: Today, I'll let my sweet heart do all the talking. 
She said as she held it closely. 

Girl in Yellow: Well Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation. 
She said as the girl known as Ruby growled at her. 

Ruby: Grr... you sound like dad Yang. 
She growls before opening her locker placed her weapon back in. 

Ruby: Okay, first of all. What does talking to people have to do with fighting? And secondly, I don't need people to grow up. I drink milk. 

Yang: And what about if we form teams?
She asked as Ruby turned around. 

Ruby: Uh...I don't know. I'll just be on your team. 
She said as she looked at the locker. 

Yang: Maybe you could be on someone else's team. 
She said as she played with her hair. 

Ruby: My dear sister Yang, are you implying that you don't wish to be on my team as me! 
She said, glaring at her. 

Yang: What? No. Of course I do. I...don't know, just think that it'll help you break out of your shell. 

Ruby: WHAT!? I don't need help to break out of my shell. That's absolutely ridiculous! 
She yelled as Y/N walked past them. 

Y/N: Are you always this loud. 
He scoffed as he walked away from them. 

???: There's no way I put my stuff in locker 636 yesterday. I don't remember have a number that high. 
A boy with blonde hair said as Y/N walked out of the room. 

Y/N: What can I expect from those here. 
He scoffed to himself before walking down the hall. 

???: Hey. Where are we suppose to go. 
A feminine voice called out to him as Y/N turned around to see a woman with white hair in a black shirt and black pants with a white cloak. A sword strapped to her back. 

Y/N: What? 
He asked as he looked at her. 

???: Name's Julie. 

Y/N: Heard it is near the cliff of Emerald Forest. 
He answered as he looked at her. 

Julie: Is that where you are heading? 
She asked him as he nodded. 

Julie: Hmm...thanks. 
She said as she passed by him before walking away. 

Time-Skip 

Julie: Looks like we're here. 
She said as Y/N nodded as the two approached a group of students. Hearing the students talk amongst themselves as Ozpin and Goodwitch stood in front of them. 

Ozpin: Hmm... for years, you have trained to become warriors. And today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest. 

Goodwitch: Now, I'm sure many of you heard rumors about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates. Today. 
She said as Y/N sighs. 

Y/N: Damn it. 
He cursed to himself. 

Ozpin: These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here in Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with one whom you can work well. 

Y/N/Ruby: What... 

Ozpin: That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years. 

Y/N: That's just great. 

Julie: Shut up and deal with it. 
She said as Y/N growled. 

Ozpin: After you've partnered up, make your way to the north end of the forest. You will meet opposition on the way. Do not hesitate to destroy anything in your path or you will die. You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation. But our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned at the end of the path, containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to this cliff. We will guard that item and as well as your standing and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions? 

Somewhere Else 

A woman with blindfolds was walking down a walkway as another landed behind her, holding a dagger in hand. 

???: Oh... I've believe you got the wrong woman. 
The blindfolded said as the other approached her, holding the dagger downwards. 

SLASH 

Stranger: What the hell? She's blind!? 
The stranger cursed loudly before being kicked at the head, crashing into the ground as the woman sat on a tree stump. 

Stranger: W-What the fuck. They said this would have been an easy hit. 
The stranger cursed loudly. 

THUD 

???: Oh... did they?
The woman appeared behind the stranger, their eyes widening in shock. 

???: Show me a good time mistralian.
