I can't pinpoint exactly why but I really like the cover for this story! And the description does a good job of giving readers a taste of the story without spoiling it.

Grammar

This was the place that could use the most improvement. The paragraphs were often too long, and the punctuation wasn't great. That being said I don't think that makes this a bad story. But I think it would be a lot easier to get into if it was formatted correctly.

Characters

The main character Joshua was fairy interesting, but I wish his motivations, thoughts, feelings, and character relations had gotten more attention. The rest of the characters don't get a lot of time to grow, I'm hoping to see more about them in future chapters.

Plot

I like the plot of the book. It is not your average run of the mill vampire story. I do wish it would slow down and more focus on the events that happen. It sometimes feels like everything is just being rushed so the next thing can happen. Though you don't need to outline every little thing that happens, putting more focus even on minor events can really help the reader get more attached to your world, and characters.

Final Thoughts

Though there are some elements of the story that could use some reworking, overall I enjoyed reading it, and I think it has great potential!
