How was this happening? Lenox was in the hospital? I used to go to school with this girl! How did she end up here?

Calum and Ashton must've noticed my reaction, because they brought me in the room and sat me on a chair.

"Mikey, mate, you ok?" Ash asked me, waving his hand in front of my face.

"Huh? Wha-?" I returned to reality.

"You look like you've seen a ghost," Calum said, his eyebrows furrowed in concern.

"You sure he didn't look in the mirror?" Luke smirked from the doorway, our heads turning at his voice.

"Morning to you too, sunshine. How was shagging Pansy, or whatever her name is?" my snarky side chose to make an appearance.

"First of all, it's Dani, and second of all, explain how I went to bed at the same time you did?" he challenged.

"Whatever. So, how'd you find this girl?" I asked Calum.

"We were driving to come home, and I saw her on the side of the road, so I had Ash pull over. There was a long cut in her thigh, her jeans were soaked through from the blood, and there was a blade next to her, also covered in blood," Calum answered.

"Why do you want to know?" Ashton asked.

I didn't answer immediately, but I rose, walked over to the pale, sleeping girl, and took hold of her left arm. It was red, covered with lots of cuts, and they looked pretty recent.

"Oh, Lenox, why didn't you come to me instead of using the blade?" I murmured, kissing each of her scars. I knew exactly why she never came to me.

--Flashback--
I had Ashley's clothes off, just her underwear left, when the door opened and Ashley screamed.
"Michael, what the hell?"
I turned, and there wad Lenox, her face redder than ever. She was madder than a hornet.
"Oh, you didn't know? Yeah, I was with Ashley behind your back," I said.
"How could you?!" Lenox yelled at me.
"You didn't satisfy me. She does," I motioned to the chick on the bed beside me.
"That's it. I'm leaving," she walked in, grabbed some clothes, and went into the bathroom, exiting through the other door.

--End Flashback--

I had cheated on her throughout the entire relationship. It was my fault, and I didn't care at the time. Later, though, I realized she was gone for good, and it hurt. It hurt like a bitch.

We only saw each other at school, and that was in the hallways in passing as we went throughout our days. The first couple days, I had tried to fix our friendship. I'd tried to salvage what was left, but she wouldn't have it. Eventually, I got famous, and that was that. Now, after all these years, would she hate me?

At that moment, a doctor walked into the room and saw all of us in there.

"She should wake up any minute, but who knows. She hit her head, so most likely, she will have some memory loss," he informed us.

As if on cue, but purely coincidental, Lenox's eyes slowly opened, first one, then the other.

"Where am I?" she asked, and I realized why I fell in love with her. I wasn't letting her go this time.
