"Green eyes! Where have I seen them before?" Ash thought while having his shower. He reminisced the dream and the image of they eyes raised even more concerns over Ash. He felt himself flinch every time in the presence of a green object.

'Not this time Delia! You've gotten away with it so many times over the years.' The man stared straight through Delia's soul. Ash could sense that his mother was had a weakened presence with this man here. 'I don't know who you are so leave me alone you old tosspot' Delia sternly said.

The next sight brought butterflies in Ash's stomach. The man raised his hand as if he was about to slap his mother. Ash could feel his hot blood pumping furiously around his body.

Adrenaline got the better of Ash. As the man's hand lowered and approached Delia's face, Ash intervened and stopped the hand. Then gave a kick in the stomach. 'Don't you dare raise your hand on a woman' Ash said in fury, he spat next to the man who was on the ground groaning in pain.

"Holy..."

"Ash hurry up and get out the shower! You never take this long and plus the others are waiting in the canteen so hurry up!" Serena called before leaving. However Ash didn't take into account what Serena thought as he witnessed those devilish green eyes, once again flinching.

"He's after me and... MUM!" Ash said. Hold up, don't you hate your mother? Suddenly Ash's conscience spoke to him. This made Ash think, he knew it spoke sense. "I'll just focus on myself, he'll probably come after me now that I am of age" Ash said aloud. The pain of thinking about his mother had left an internal scar that was beyond repair. Deep down he wanted to make sure this man didn't get to his mother but right now she did not matter to him.

He finally got out the shower and dressed into his simple attire. He got out the bathroom and his whole room was empty. He went to the living room and it looked like everyone had gone. "When did they go?" Ash asked to no one in particular.

His Pokémon had gone too, which surprised him but he went with it.

He got out of his hotel room and started to make his way down the corridor to the lift. However the corridor kept on going and going. The lift seemed to be stretching away.

This time Ash started to run but still it carried on. Then he suddenly stopped and instantly the lift doors were in front of him. He was begging to sweat, he vigorously pressed the button for the lift.

The lift doors slid open, ever so slowly and inside were a pair of green eyes ready for murder...

"It's quit surprising how Ash decided to have shower that lasted more than 5 minutes" Max spoke out.

"Yeah he normally gets one done and he's out to train or something" Clement said. Zack however knew there was something up with Ash, and he needed to tell him something urgently. Something about a dream.. something about a man with...

"Zack are you not hungry?" Serena asked looking at the untouched plate in front of Zack.

"I thought I'd eat once Ash gets here" Zack said, forgetting about his previous thoughts.

"Man where is Ash! I wanna eat" Bonnie complained. But as if on queue Ash entered the canteen, with a noticeable amount of sweat on his face and widened eyes. He sat down next to Serena and didn't say a word. His face looked like he was in a trance.

"Ash!" Serena clicked her fingers in front of his face and Ash quickly looked at her. "Yes?" He seemed rather confused how he got here.

"You have been rather odd these last few days" Clement spoke, wanting to sound polite rather than rude. Ash wanted to agree but he couldn't, he knew all these things were true, that instant gut feel.

"Well yeah after that first battle, I've been tryna stay cautious about my surroundings" Ash said. The others didn't respond, and then a waiter arrived with Ash's breakfast with a green plate. He could see a pair of green eyes on that plate. Zack observed Ash as he flinched.

"Serena can I have your blue plate and you take my g-green" Ash's stuttering caught Zacks's attention. Serena looked rather perplexed.

"Sure..." Serena and Ash exchanged plates, and his doubts seemed to vanish at the smell of his breakfast. He returned to his normal self by absolutely smashing through the food.

"That was good!" Ash said admiring the lingering tastes that remained.

"A man in a cap approached their table. His cap covered his eyes. He had fairly overgrown bear and long hair and wore what seemed to be janitor clothes.

"A word with you Mr.Ketchum" The man said. Ash recognised the voice.

"Sure"

The man took Ash outside, well rather to an alley way between two buildings.

"Ash, I see that you've recognised me?" The man said looking at him. Ash nodded.

"Okay so I can keep my costume on. Anyway the reason I wanted to talk to you is about is that you are in grave danger, and this is not a threat from Lysandre although he will be an issue not as major as this" The Man said.

"Yes Ive had multiple dreams to about a man with green eyes. I met him when I was young when he threatened mum" Ash revealed. He could see the man's face turn to fury.

"That bastard," he whispered, "anyway Ive been keeping tabs about his whereabouts and he is close, so stay safe son, I mean Ash" the man said and patted his shoulder.

"I-I" Ash stuttered not knowing whether he should tell.

"Go on" The man said indicating his interest.

"Basically I get real life nightmares about this man like last night I had a terrible dream about getting tortured and I got the marks," Ash said showing his wrists, "and also today in the corridors" Ash said but stopped he couldn't go on.

The man stared at him, he looked shocked. He began to walk away now.

"Where are you going? And what's your name?" Ash called out.

"Just call me R!" R shouted before disappearing. Ash was rather confused he didn't get a reaction when he told him about that. He just shrugged and walked back to the canteen where his friends were waiting at the exit.

"What was that about Ash?" Max asked. "He just wanted to congratulate me on my successes" Ash said.

"He could have said it in front of us too" Serena said.

"Yeah he was a bit shy" Ash said hoping they would buy the lie and luckily they did.

"Anyway we have a free day, so let's go to an arcade or something!" Clement suggested.

"Yeah that sounds cool!" Max and Bonnie exclaimed in their childish manners. The arcade turns out wasn't that far away so the walk was nice and short. Once they reached inside, Clement was dragged away by Bonnie and Max to the kids section which left Serena, Ash and Zack sweat dropping.

"Well well.. Ketchup boy" the sound of the voice irritated Ash, he felt he could lift three busses and smash Calem's face in. 

Control your emotions, discipline your mind. Ash kept repeating the phrase so he wouldn't get exposed for more drama on news channels. "Sorry but I don't have time for camels" Ash said and barged past Calem with Serena and Zack closely behind.

"Bloody hell a camel! I'm creasing" Zack said holding his stomach and laughing.

"Yo Ash!" It was Alain. He walked up to Ash and they both done a handshake. "Good to see you bro!" Ash replied,

"Same here man"

"Serena" Alain said shaking her hand. "

"Hi Alain, how's your day going?" Serena asked politely.

"Ah brilliantly, now that I've met you two and whose this little boy!" Alain said ruffling through Zack's hair. "I'm Zack, and I'm their friend" he replied politely. "Well nice meeting you two" Alain smiled.

"Well come there's a shopping mall for everything just behind the arcade so I say we go spend the day there" Alain said. When Ash heard the word shopping his morale dropped and could feel Serena's energy running through her.

"Shopping! I'm down any day!" Serena said instantly. She grabbed Ash and dragged him off to the mall.

"Ladies... Zack you might wanna take notes for the future" Alain said sweat dropping.

"Already on it" Zack replied with a chuckle and a sweat drop.

In the mall...

"Wow this is massive!" Serena said looking around.

"That's what she said" Ash couldn't resist and Serena smacked his arm, "really Ash I thought I'm going out with a mature man" Serena laughed.

"Serena!!" It was Shauna and she came running and hugged Serena tightly. "It's so good to see you!" She said filled with happiness. Trevor and Tierno caught up with Shauna looking rather tired.

Alain and Zack joined as well. "Serena Ash, Alain!" Good to see you guys. Tierno said giving each one a first bump as did Trevor. Out of nowhere Paul joined the group but he looked disturbed, he turned to Zack and their faces seemed to recognise each other.

"Ash I want to talk, and we need him too" Paul said pointing to Zack. Ash knew something was up and nodded.

"Serena take my keys I'm gonna go to a different with Paul and Zack, Alain please make sure Camel boy or anyone doesn't get near Serena" Ash said.

"Will do boss" Alain said and his group went away to shop which left Ash, Paul and Zack.

"What's up Paul?" Ash asked.

"Ash this is urgent, me and this boy were in a dream together and we watched you well.." Paul hesitated.

"Well you were getting tortured by this green eyes man. Ash stared at them.

"How do you know?" Ash was perplexed and confused as hell.

"We've both had encounters with him too and well he tried using us to get to you but we held in" Paul said.

"Ash we are in danger" Zack

"Yes I know" Ash replied taking a huge gulp.

"This man is a threat, and I can't believe I'm saying this but this is the second time I've felt minor to someone other than you" Paul said. Ash knew this was more dangerous than he suspected.

Time skip (9:37pm)

The conversation with R and Paul kept playing in the back of Ash's mind as he lay on his bed staring at the ceiling while Serena watched the television and Pokemon performance rules for her upcoming tournament.

The door to their room opened and in came Zack with a pillow and wearing his pyjamas. He walked up to Serena's side.

"If you don't mind, can I sleep with you guys, I feel.. safer around you two" Zack said.

"Of course, you never have to ask, you are always welcome!," Serena said, "but why all of a sudden?" Serena asked.

"Forget the reason and let's tuck him in get some sleep, I have a battle tomorrow and I need to be fresh" Ash said, hopefully he thought. Zack got in between the couple and Serena cuddled with him and fell asleep.

Ash smiled but fell asleep into another nightmare.
