'Guys come on keep up!' Serena shouted as she ran along the shore with her Pokémon and friends. 'Serena seems fired up!' Ash said as he ran behind her. 'Please slow down! I thought you knew I can't keep up!' Clemont shouted and fell into the sand exhausted. 'Come on brother get up' Bonnie said trying to yank him up. However he stood rooted to the ground unwilling to carry on.

'Were they usually like this?' Max asked while he jogged next to Ash. Ash chuckled and nodded. His attention was then diverted towards the pier where the figure from yesterday stood. Ash aimlessly ran and collided with a krabby that was crawling around the beach. The crab Pokémon retaliated and pinched Ash on the leg and scurried off. Ash lost his footing and fell face flat in the sand.

'Ow!' Ash screamed and lay in the sand unable to move from the bite. Serena stopped running and went to Ash. 'Ash are you..,' Serena started and saw his leg which had claw marks on it, 'Oh no, make his sit up while I get the first aid' Serena said and ran off. Max helped Ash sit up straight. 'Why always me' Ash cried in frustration. He looked back at the pier but there was nothing there. 'Go to the water..' A deep voice spoke. Ash became startled and looked at Max, who wasn't paying attention. 'Did you say something?' Ash asked. Max shook his head, Ash looked for Clemont but he was still lying in the sand further back. Ash felt rather chilled and shrugged it off but again the voice came, 'the water will heal you.' With force Ash got up and headed towards the ocean water.

'Ash stop walking, your going to inflict more pain to yourself' Serena shouted as she ran back to him. 'I-I can't' Ash stuttered and entered the water. 'Ash it's salt...water' Serena said, but once Ash entered the water, the wound slowly disappeared from his leg. Ash looked down at his leg and looked confused. He stepped out of the water and felt dry. However his legs became numb and fell down.

'Ash!' Serena shouted and ran to him, 'are you okay?' Serena asked sitting down next to him. 'Ash how did you do that' Max said before Ash could give any response. He just shrugged, 'I don't know.' 'What do you mean? You knew what you were doing, I saw the focus in your eyes' Max replied. 'Well I heard voices and then just started walking' Ash said. Before Serena could reply a man spoke, 'hearing voices are a strange occurrence but it does happen to gifted people' It was professor Sycamore. 'Professor!' Serena said. 'Ah Serena! How nice to meet you' Sycamore said and shook her hand. He then turned to Ash, 'you must be Aaron?' He asked. 'Yea' Ash simply replied. 'Scott has told me about you. It unfortunately reminds me of Ash, don't know what he became now' Sycamore said. Serena looked at Ash nervously but Ash looked calm to her surprise, 'yea who knows' Ash said with a bit of regret in his tone. Serena held his arm for support. 'Young Love, its beautiful' Sycamore said, causing Serena to blush, 'anyway meet me at the main building, there is an announcement' Sycamore added and walked off.

'Sorry guys, what did we miss?' Clemont said as he rejoined the group. 'Sycamore came' Serena said, Clemonts eyes widened. 'Really?' Clemont said with excitement, 'what did he say' He added. 'We have to go to the main building' Ash said emotionlessly. 'Oh.. Okay' Clemont said rather disappointed. 'Well we better start going' Serena said. They agreed and walked off to the main building.

'Welcome To The battle Royale!' Sycamore announced. Everyone applauded until he waved his hand in order for them to stop. 'Your wondering why all you guys are here early?' He said looking around the audience who were all nodding and looking impatient. 'Well did you receive the little to do list in your rooms?' He asked. 'Yes' Everyone said in sync with each others voices. 'Well if you haven't guessed by now, those are the pre tournament challenges put out for you guys!' He said. 'First today we will have to PokéVision competition, you will all make a video and compare with your hotel members for which one should be entered in the final pickings, is that clear?' He bellowed out. The audience looked around their hotel table and nodded together. 'Dismissed' Sycamore said and disappeared of stage.

The audience soon scattered from the assembly and headed out to do their PokéVision for the challenge. 'Serena your the experienced one so you will be the star' Ash said. 'Okay' Serena giggled and blushed. 'I'll be the technical side of this' Clemont said. 'I wanna help Serena with her clothes.' Bonnie added. 'Then that leave you two' Serena said looking at Ash and Max. 'Max will help me with training.' Ash said. Max nodded as he wasn't interested in doing this. 'Come on you can help!' Serena said putting on her cute face. Ash sweat dropped, 'as much as I would like to, I don't want Max to be bored' Ash said. 'Fine' Serena pouted. 'I'll help you look for your location' Ash said hoping it would lift her spirits. 'Yeah that would be helpful' Serena said rather happier.

'Well if it isn't Serena and her mates' Calem said and kissed her hand. 'Oh right where's Aaron?' Calem said with distaste. 'He's'' Serena looked to where Ash was but he wasn't there anymore. 'He's somewhere' Max said saving Serena from her blushes. 'So what brings you here?' Serena asked nervously. 'Oh we, as in me, Gary, Brock and Cilan want to help you as we are in your hotel' Calem replied. 'Uhhh sure' Serena panicked. 'Awesome' Gary said.

They were about to leave when Ash returned to the group. 'As- I mean Aaron where were you?' Serena asked worriedly. 'Oh I was in the toilet' Ash said. 'Oh Aaron good to see you' Gary said. Ash nodded in response. Cilan also nodded. 'Hey loser' Calem said. Ash didn't reply and started walking until Calem grabbed his arm. 'I said hello!' Calem demanded a response. 'And I didn't! You have a problem?' Ash said keeping his calm. 'Whatever' Calem said and started walking with Serena.

However Serena had decided to hold Ash's hand which made Calem even angrier. 'So you to are a thing?' Calem said making it sound bad. Serena nodded happily and rested her head on his shoulder. 'ugh' Calem bellowed out. Delia then joined them making Ash cover his eyes and walk ahead alone. 'Everything alright?' Delia asked. The group nodded. She looked at Ash and decided to let him be.

They walked on for about five minutes until Serena spotted the place to shoot her performance. It was on top of a small mountain that was quite the way up. It had a river at the bottom of the fall. However it had the greenery to be a perfect settings for the pokévision. 'Guys over here!' Serena shouted. She climbed up onto the mountain and started twirling around like it was paradise. Bonnie joined her and started playing around with the flowers on the floor.

'You guys record while I go train and if you finish don't wait for me, I'll come by dinner' Ash said and disappeared into the small forest on the mountain, before anyone could reply. 'Well Max I suppose you can help Clemont' Serena said. 'Yeah I could do with your help' Clemont said. 'Sure Lets go!' Max said with enthusiasm.

After a few minutes Serena came out in a new dress. She had a pony tail in her hair with the blue ribbon Ash gave her. Braxien also came out with a pink bow tie on her neck. 'You look stunning!' Calem exclaimed. 'The dress and the similarities between human and Pokémon is truly remarkable' Cilan spoke causing everyone to sweat drop.

'Glad to be away from them' Ash sighed as he spoke to Pikachu. 'Greninja come on out!' Ash threw Greninja's PokéBall releasing the ninja Pokémon. 'Well guys are you ready to train?' Ash shouted in excitement. His Pokémon roared in agreement and stood oppsite each other.

'Pikachu quick attack! Greninja double team!' Ash commanded. Pikachu started sprinting towards Greninja who had made dozens of copies it self. Pikachu burst through all of them until it got to the real one. 'Greninja use cut! Pikachu iron tail! Ash shouted the next moves. Greninja got two sharp sticks in it's webbed hands and slashed at Pikachu who deflected them with it's tail.

The force of the two moves caused them to slide away from each other. They looked pumped up after the start. Pikachu had his cheeks sparking with electricity while Greninja narrowed its eyes at the mouse Pokémon.

Lurking in the bushes were four figures spying on Ash and his training. 'The twerp is here!' Meowth whispered. 'Yes that's what we exactly needed' Jessie said looking at Pikachu. 'We will use the magnet and grab Pikachu!' James said, 'and then fly away in the balloon' Meowth added. 'Wabafett' Wabafett said causing Jessie to cover it's mouth.

'Guys keep up the instensity' Ash shouted to his panting Pokémon. 'Electro ball and Greninja use water shuriken' Ash shouted with enthusiasm and determination. Pikachu sent a flying ball of electricity to Greninja who had thrown two Shuriken's at the attack. It pierced through the electro ball and went flying past Ash's ears either side. 'That was close!' Ash said sweating from the close call. 'Thunderbolt! And greninja use cut!' Ash commanded once more. Pikachu released the sparks from it's cheeks and sent it to Greninja. Greninja put the two sticks in front of him which deflected the thunder attack all around him. However the attack was powerful causing to buckle and send him flying into a tree.

'Stop!' Ash shouted and ran towards Greninja. He leaned in and helped him sit up straight after the collision with the tree. 'Are you okay?' Ash asked. Greninja winced first but nodded. 'Are you sure?' Ash asked. 'Yes master' Greninja spoke through telepathy. 'Okay let's...' Ash was stopped because of laughter coming through the air.

'Prepare for trouble!'

'And make it double!'

'To protect the world from devastation!'

'To unite all people within our nation!'

'To denounce the evils of truth and love!'

'To extend our reach to the stars above!'

'Jessie!'

'James!'

'Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!'

'Surrender now, or prepare to fight!'

'Meowth! That's right!'

Ash looked up and saw Team Rocket hovering in the Balloon with a huge magnet under the balloons base. 'Team Rocket!' Ash shouted in anger. 'He still remembers us! How fitting' Meowth mocked Ash. The magnet turned on causing everything to be attracted to it. Pikachu lost it's grip on the tree and flew towards it. It became attached onto the magnet and started squirming around in pain. Sparks were flying out of it's cheeks as it struggled to get loose.

'Hey give Pikachu back!' Ash shouted. 'Greninja water Shuriken!' Ash shouted. Greninja jumped in the air and sent two shurikens towards the balloon. However Wabafett stood in front and rebounded the Shuriken's back at Greninja who received his own attack. Ash's rage increased. 'Cheerio' Team rocket shouted and started flying further away. Ash had had enough. 'Greninja we will save him. Together we can' Ash shouted. Greninja and Ash started to synchronise in their movements and soon a huge burst of water engulfed Greninja and soon disappeared revealing his new form.

'Lets go!' Ash shouted. They both started to sprint and soon lunged high into the sky. They both grabbed onto the basket and jumped inside. 'No one takes my Pikachu!' Ash shouted. Greninja threw a Shuriken onto them and sent them flying out into the sky.

'We're blasting off again!' They all shouted and disappeared into the evening sky. Ash released the tension but soon returned as the balloon exploded. He saw Pikachu hurtle towards the river on the floor and jumped off to catch him. Greninja jumped off as well.

'Pikachu!' Ash shouted and dived further and caught up with his Pokémon. He grabbed onto Pikachu and closed his eyes waiting for impact. He then felt Greninja wrap around him as they headed to the river. They landed with a huge splash which knocked them out clean and were sent down with the current.

'Woah! That explosion' Gary said and pointed at the smoke in the lava red sky. 'Thank god we finished!' Serena said and packed up her things quickly. 'We better go' Clemont shouted. He was already packed up and ready to leave. They waited for a few seconds before running back to the main building.

They slowed down their pace as they were in sight of the building. 'Everyone okay?' Calem asked and looked at Serena mainly. 'Yeah' Serena replied breathing heavily. They entered the building and it was already filled with the other hotel members from this tournament.

'Welcome back everybody!' Sycamore shouted, 'I would like to introduce Aria!' He shouted. A women with pink hair stepped up to the front and bowed. There were whistles of appreciation and a lot of fan girl screams from the crowd. 'Well I hope you have enjoyed making those videos and I can't wait to see who the winner is!' She announced.

The hotel tables started speaking amongst themselves to discuss who should be entered for the winner pickings. Results were in!

'There we have it! Out of those four one of them will be the winner tonight!' Sycamore announced. 'Aria would you care to look at their videos?' Sycamore said. Aria smiled and nodded and sat with the crowd and examined the big screen. It took 12 minutes to go through the videos of each performer. Aria stepped back onto the stage and smiled. 'I have made my conclusion!' She said.

There was a minute of silence. Tension was rising in the air the eve of the announcement. 'I'll start from fourth place and go onwards' Aria announced, 'in fourth place... May!' She shouted. There were applauses for her effort but the tension continued between the remaining three. 'Third place... Shauna!' There were few cheers from her hotel and a round of applause for her. The tension returned once again. 'This was tough, both were excellent in their performance but I think this winner deserved it. Second place... Miette and that means Serena is the winner!' The place erupted into screams of joy. Everyone went and congratulated Serena who was blushing furiously at her win.

She went onto the stage and shook Aria's hand and then sycamores hand. She received a trophy from sycamore with the markings, 1st place. Serena beamed at the crowd who were clapping at her achievement. However that was short lived for. A man came running in and spoke with sycamore. His expression became dark.

'ANNOUNCEMENT!' He shouted. The noise levels dropped instantly. 'There has been an explosion near the twin mountains' Sycamore started. Whispers started going around. 'We advise you to stay away from that area as it is under investigation and also another terrible news...' Sycamore turned even paler. 'A participant was in the explosion' he said. The place erupted in shock. They looked around to see who was missing. Serena looked around and knew... 'Ash!'
