(Opening shot: we see Anne and the Planters are having breakfast until Sprig drinks some hot sauce, which is pretty dumb, and causes stuff to catch on fire. Luckily, Mrs. Boonchuy puts it out with the frying pan, and afterward, she looks at Anne with a look of anger. Anne plays innocent while she blushes and sweats a bit. Mrs. Boonchuy goes to another part of the house.)

Anne (glares at Sprig): "Dude, what are you doing?"

Sprig: "What do you mean?"

Hop Pop: "Sprig Planter, you're a guest you're a guest in the Boonchuy's home. For frog's sake, behave like one.

Sprig: "Ha! Silly Hop Pop. We aren't guests," (he makes an adorable face) "we're family."

Hop Pop: (points at him) "No! We're not! Just because Anne is a Plantar, doesn't automatically make you a Boonchuy."

Sprig: "Doesn't it though? I mean, the math checks out."

Polly: "You're," (puts her left foot on the table and points him) "NOT a part of Anne's family!"

Sprig (makes a sorry face): "Oh... Anne, is that true?"

Anne: "Don't worry about it, man. Being a guest around here is so much better. Being family just means chores, reponsibilities and getting yelled at when you mess up."

Polly: "I, for one, like being waited on hand and foot, and I should know." (sits down and puts her feet on the table) "I have feet now."

Sprig: "Sorry, guys. I just always wanted a bigger family and I guess I got a little carried away."

Polly: "Been there."

Anne: "Hey, no problem."

Hop Pop: "You course corrected."

Mrs. Boonchuy: "Anne, come on. We had a lot of work to do in the restaurant. Kevin and your father are already there."

Anne: "Well, that's me. See you guys when I get back." (leaves with her mom)

Sprig: "Oh, wait!" (jumps and stops her) "Can I come with you? I'd like to make up for how rude I was this morning."

Anne: "I guess that'd be fine." (Sprig rejoices) "Hop Pop, Polly, try to research some portals and junk while we're going."

Hop Pop: (While Polly gives him a thumbs up) "You got it."

(Sprig hops on Anne's back, carrying him to walk off. Anne and Sprig go to the restaurant with Mrs. Boonchuy.)

Polly: "So, are we watching," (shows him the options) "Starzgate or Quantum Hop?"

Hop Pop: "Quantum Hop! Quantum Hop!"

(At the Thai Go restaurant, we see Anne's parents preparing the food while Anne watches Kevin, who is cleaning the tables with a soft smile on his face, which Anne finds it cute.)

Anne: (thoughts) 'God, Kevin is so cute. I don't think he won't mind if I take a picture of him, right?'

(She was about to take out her phone and take a picture of Kevin cleaning the tables, when Sprig ruined her chance as he tapped on her leg, which caused her to drop her phone in shock.)

Sprig: "Whatcha doing?"

Anne: "N-Nothing!" (thoughts) 'Damnit! So close!'

Sprig: "Oh well... How can I help(x3)?"

Mrs. Boonchuy: (While she is cutting a lettuce) "Don't worry about it, pink frog. You're our guest." (Hands him a plastic cup of Thai ice tea) "Why don't you sit in the corner with a Thai ice tea?"

Sprig: (After receiving the cup and sitting down) "Ugh... I hate being a stupid guest. I wanna be," (plays with the straw) "family."

(A bell is heard, a signal that indicates that a
customer has arrived.)

Mrs. Boonchuy: "Sounds like we've got a customer."

Sprig: "Heh?" (puts on his mask)

(The Boonchuys and Sprig are going to receive that client, but it turns out it's a guy named Ned, an acquaintance of the Boonchuys.)

Ned: "What's happening, Boonchuys?" (looks at Kevin) "Kevin, my man!" (Kevin simply waves at him while organizing everything) "Hehehe... Anne! Whoa! I thought you were dead."

Anne: (While Sprig comes) "Ned!" (shows him some pictures of Ned) "Check it out, Sprig. This guy's our number one customer. He's been around for years."

Sprig: "Wooow..."

Ned: "Oh! And I'm not just a customer anyone, Anne."

Anne: "Wait, what?"

Ned: "I brought a food truck. I wanna bring your mom's amazing cooking to all of L.A. She puts the pow in pad kra pao!"

Anne: "Oh, so, you guys are in business together."

Ned: "Well... no. Not yeeet."

Mrs. Boonchuy (sighs): "I already told you. We're just not interested in a food truck."

Ned: "But you've got the best Thai food in the country and if we partnered up, we could make so much money together. Couldn't you just share some of your recipes with me?"

Mrs. Boonchuy: "Absolutely not. This recipe are for family only."

Ned: "Well... when you changed your mind, you know where to find me."

(Ned leaves the restaurant directly to his, which happens to be stationed in front.)

Anne: "Wow... He's literally parked right outside the restaurant. That can't be good."

Mrs. Boonchuy: "It's not, customers are very confused right now."

(A man appears and is deciding which restaurant to go to, but he sees that they are both identical.)

Man: "Huh? HUH? I-- I don't-- What do I do? WHAT DO I DO?" (sobs on the floor)

Kevin: "I got this." (walks out of the restaurant to help the crying man.)

Mrs. Boonchuy: "Thanks, Kevin." (sighing) "He means well, but Ned just doesn't realize he's hurting the business. It's been weeks and he still hasn't budged. Oh well." (goes back to the kitchen) "I better start the khao pad."

Sprig: "Mmm... Tough problem, huh? Why, if someone were to solve it, your mom might consider him the son she never had."

Anne: "Sprig, stay out of this."

Sprig: "Ok ok... Sheesh. It was just a thought."

(Anne returns to the kitchen. But Sprig leaves the restaurant since he has a plan. Meanwhile, Kevin brings the happy man in and asked what kind of order he wants to eat. The man asked for a Thai special and Kevin writes it up before speaking to Mr. Boonchuy.)

Kevin: "Mr. Boonchuy, we need one Thai special!"

Mr. Boonchuy: "Coming right up!"

Kevin: (to the man) "Your food will be out for in one moment, sir."

(Kevin goes back to work. After a couple of seconds, he heard yelling coming from outside.)

Kevin: "What the hell...?"

(He goes out and exits the restaurant to see Sprig is fighting with three people.)

Kevin: "Sprig, what the hell are you doing?!"

Sprig (angrily): "Morons(x3)!"

Kevin: (grabs Sprig; smiling nervously at the three people) "Sorry, everyone. This one seems to have some autism issues. Please, enjoy yourselves with Ned's food truck." (while taking Sprig back inside) "Get in here and calm down, Sprig!"

Ned: "Oh hey. While you're in there, could you grab those recipes?"

Kevin: "If my boss says no, then it's a no!"

(Anne and Mrs. Boonchuy close the door. Kevin then puts Sprig in the counter. Mrs. Boonchuy makes annoying noises and starts scolding Anne and Kevin.)

Mrs. Boonchuy: "Anne, Kevin, this behavior is unacceptable. Anne, I'm doubling your chores. Kevin, you're on toilet duty. Don't let it happen again." (returns to the kitchen)

Kevin: (glares at Sprig) "Thanks a lot, Sprig." (goes back to work)

Sprig: "Wait. Why'd she yell at you guys for something I did?"

Anne: (while she collects some silverware already served) "She's not about to yell at a guest, Sprig. She only yells at family. And ever since Kevin's been helping my family's restaurant before I got here, he's part of the family too."

Sprig: (with a sorry face) "Ouch, Anne. Thanks for rubbing it in."

Anne: "Look, Sprig, I know what you're doing here and I get why, but please stop or I'll be also cleaning the bathroom with a toothbrush for the rest of my life." (goes to the kitchen, but stops a moment) "Just knock it off, okay?" (goes to the kitchen)

Sprig: "Heh... Knock it off or knock it," (points at Zed) "ON!"

Kevin and Anne: (peeks through the entrance) "We heard that!"

Sprig: (runs away) "NO, YOU DIDN'T!"

Kevin: (sighs): "I'll follow him." (walks away)

(It was nighttime and we see Ned running into the restaurant as Sprig enters the food truck and takes a toothpick. He was about to pull the lever.)

Sprig: "Sprig Boonchuy in (while he puts his index finger) 3, 2, 1..."

Kevin: (tackling Sprig down) "No, Sprig! What do you think you're doing?!"

Sprig: "Squirming my way into Anne's mom's heart by making this food truck (with an evil face) disappear." (pushes Kevin away and presses all the buttons at random)

Kevin (troubled): "Sprig, stop!" (He tried to stop Sprig, but the pink-frog flips the driver lever, causing the track to start moving.)

(Meanwhile, Anne goes out to dump a garbage bag, but then she sees what Sprig has done and she drops the garbage bag.)

Anne (worried): "Oh no..."

(She enters the food truck through the window and sees Kevin is grabbing with all of his strength, but he tries to free himself.)

Anne: "Guys, the truck is moving!" (Jumps into the driver's seat and tries to stop the truck) "Ok, I've never driven a car before, but I have driven Bessie and played 900 hours of Super Wahoo Carts."

Kevin: "Why do I get the feeling that it's a ripoff of Mario Kart? Wait, what am I saying. Anne, the brakes!"

Anne: "Right, the brakes! Gotta mash the brakes!" (Hitting the brakes, but they're not working as Kevin see's a note and reads it.)

Kevin: "Ugh, Zed, you're such a rascal! You forgot to fix the brakes!" (comes up with an idea) "Guys, I got an idea." (gets out of the truck and jumped on top of the hood)

Anne: "Kev, what are you doing?!"

Kevin: "Stopping this truck!" (Jumps in front of the truck as it crashes into him while he uses his feet to try and slow the truck down like Spider-Man does to stop the train) "COME ON(x3)!!"

Anne: "Kevin, be careful!"

Sprig: "But also try and work fast!"

Kevin: "What do you think I'm doing, Sprig?!" (He keeps using all of his strength as the truck began to slow down until it finally stops)

Anne: (relieved) "Oh man, that was close." (sees Kevin fell onto his butt, catching his breathe) "You okay, Kevin?" (Kevin gives her a thumbs up, much to her relief)

(Mrs. Boonchuy and Ned finally showed up, open the door and look annoyed.)

Mrs. Boonchuy: "I don't believe this."

Ned: "Me either. You send your daughter and Kevin to destroy my food truck? What? Are you people insane?"

Sprig: (gets out of the truck after putting on his costume) "Wait! They had NOTHING to do with this, it was ALL me. I was just-" (looks at Mrs. Boonchuy, sighs and takes off his hat for a moment) "I just wanted to be a part of the family, but I should've respected your boundaries instead of pestering you into something you didn't want."

Mrs. Boonchuy: (walks over to Sprig, gets on her knees and sighs) "It's okay, pink frog... I mean, Sprig. I know how much you mean to my daughter (As Anne gets out of the truck and helps Kevin get up) and how much she means to you. I shouldn't have treated you like such a outsider."

Ned: (starts crying) "I feel like and outsider too. I love your restaurant so much. I just wanted to be a part of it but-- but I was wrong. (falls to the ground and sobs more) I'm so sorry... I'm done trying to get your recipes... I just realized this is a gross appropriation of your culture (is crawling away) and I should just show myself out."

(Kevin see's this and whispers to Mrs. Boonchuy's ear. After he moved away, Mrs. Boonchuy sighs and looks at Ned.)

Mrs. Boonchuy: "Ned, look. (stands up) I can't give you the recipes because they are for family only but... we could use some help with deliveries."

Ned: (stands up) "D- Deliver? (dries his tears) Me?"

Mrs. Boonchuy: "I mean, it won't pay much but you will be part of the restaurant if you accept."

Ned: (smile) "Yes! I'd love to. Oh, you will not regret it, Mrs. Boonchuy. Not for a second. (rejoices as he goes to his food truck) Whoo-hoo! Yay! I'll make you guys proud! (leaves) Oh, man. I got to get these brakes fixed."

Kevin: "Yeah, you really do."

Sprig: (Takes off his mask and wipes his hands) "Welp, I guess we're all done here."

Mrs. Boonchuy: (grabs him from the cap of his vest) "Not so fast. (picks him from his vest cap) If you think you're getting out of here without an earful, you've got another thing coming. Firstly, how dare you disobey me? Secondly, how dare you put Anne, Kevin and yourself in danger? Thirdly, why are you smiling?"

Sprig: (with a puppy face) "You're- You're scolding me. Which means..."

Anne: (hits him on his right arm) "Yep. You're family now, bud."

Sprig: (Rejoices and hugs her) "YAAAAY!"

Mrs. Boonchuy: "Already having second thoughts about this."

Kevin: "I'm sure it's fine, Mrs. Boonchuy." (thoughts) 'So this is what family looks like? I sure wish my family treat me like that.' (with a frown expression and looks away)

Anne: (sees Kevin and goes over to him) "You okay, Kevin?"

Kevin: (wipes his face before turning around and smiles) "Yeah, I'm alright."

Anne: "You sure?"

Kevin: "Yeah, I was just... Thinking about something. Nothing serious. What do you say we head on back, huh?" (walks away as Mrs. Boonchuy and Sprig followed along, except for Anne, who's left standing by herself)

Anne: (thoughts) 'Kevin's probably thinking about his old family. He hasn't been shown any love and treated well by them ever since. Don't worry, Kevin. I won't leave you. I swear to you. I love you.' (walks after the trio)

(Fade to black.)
