Author's Note:
-This story takes place after the events of Temple Frogs episode.

(It's been a couple of days since Kevin moved in with the Boonchuy's and today, Kevin was going out to the woods to test out some of his powers when suddenly he was approached by Anne.)

Anne: "Hey, Kev, where are you going?"

Kevin: "Hey, Anne. I was just gonna go out to the woods to train some of my Gamer powers. You wanna come?"

Anne: "Sure, sounds fun." (thoughts) 'Just me and you. Just the way I like it.'

Kevin: "Great. C'mon, then."

-Timeskip brought to you by Chibi Anne watching Chibi Kevin was firing his Mega Buster at the training dummies-

(Anne is sitting on a long tree log and Kevin is ready to train.)

Kevin (inhales, exhales): "Okay, here we go."

(As the training dummies appeared all around the woods, Kevin begin to train his powers by attacking the dummies. He uses hand-to-hand, swordplay, and marksmen skills on the training dummies and when the dummies were destroyed, Anne was amazed at Kevin's powers and skills is processing.)

Anne: (thoughts) 'Whoa! Kevin is so cool and skillful with these powers. Maybe he's the one who can lead us to victory. You're amazing, Kevin.'

(After destroying the dummies, Kevin reequips a jackpot on his back and starts flying with it. Anne watches Kevin flying all over until he makes a smooth landing. At first, he went too fast, but he safety nailed it on the landing, much to his relief.)

Kevin: "Okay, I gotta work on the landing better."

Anne: "You okay, Kevin?"

Kevin: "Yeah, I'm all right." (makes a clone of himself)

Kevin #2: "Hey there."

Anne: "Whoa! There's two of you! How did you do that?!"

Kevin: "Shadow Clone Jutsu, perhaps. I'd learned it from watching Naruto. Maybe this will come in handy someday." (his clone disappears)

(We now see Kevin and Anne on a tree log together.)

Anne: "Are you nervous?"

Kevin: "Yeah, a little bit. If I'm the savior of worlds, I have to be ready to face the dangers head on. We have to be ready for anything that throws at us."

Anne: (smile; place a hand on his shoulder) "We will be. I'm nervous too. But we can still do this. We won't be alone. We have the Plantars and our friends back at Amphibia that needed saving. And we'll be by your side to help you."

Kevin: (smile) "Thanks, Anne."

(Anne and Kevin's face were so close to each other and they were about to press their lips together for a kiss until Sprig, suddenly, jumps in between them out of nowhere, much to Anne's dismay as she glares at Sprig.)

Sprig: "Anne's right, Kev. We have your back no matter what."

Polly: "Really, Sprig?! You ruin their moment!"

Kevin: "Since when did you guys been there?"

Hop Pop: "When you were training your powers against those wooden dummies. Besides, Anne's mother told us to bring you and Anne back since she said it's time for dinner."

Kevin: "Oh, okay. Let's head back, then."

(As Kevin and the Plantars left back the Boonchuy's, Anne was left sitting alone.)

Anne: (thought) 'Goddamn it! So close to have my moment with Kevin, and I was about to kiss him too. Ah well, I'll get it right next time.'

(Close-up to show Anne getting off of the tree log and follows Kevin and the Plantars back to home. Fade to black.)

Chapter cleared.
