Griffin is a bright young fellow during the high times of the age of adventures, tales of romance, Privateerings and most of all, the exploration dates. His entire life he has dedicated to studying and documenting his findings.
Not only is he fascinated by the every stories of sailors, pirates he has also always wanted to go himself, to find out myths like the Kraken, Sea Serpents, Leviathans and Mermaids. Such tales is what he has grown up with.

It's a bright and sunny sunday Morning. Griffin is in his old place at the local bar and inn - Terren's Tuba to listen to stories of adventure. At the port, the notorious and famous vessel Elizabeth is arriving and along with it is the biggest mystery one has yet to uncover. The townsmen rush to the port in excitement, the fresh salty breeze coming to the small town of Platunia aboard the Elizabeth.

Griffin is also excited for he has long to meet the Captain of said vessel, miss Catherine. Catherine cones from a long line of adventurers, from tender age she has set sailed to the Atlantic Ocean seeking for a life of adventure. Now with this return, she has only started her life of excitement. On the bow of the Elizabeth lies a 20 meter long creature. Its structure is never before seen in the documented books on wild life. Its fins and teeth are out of this world, a long snout with razorsharp teeth that looks like they can rip open anything that sails the seven seas. Griffin is awe'ed at this discovery, such a magnificent yet alien like creature, captured before his very eyes.

The creature was brought ashore by more than fifty able bodied men yet there were still problems. It is displayed at the local museum, a pre historic creature. This piqued Griffin's interest, he wants to board the Elizabeth, he WANTS to live on the seas, to find more about what lurks beneath the surface.

The town is buzzling with excitement as travellers and even researchers of all corners of the Earth starts to come. Finally, Griffin gets an audience with the great Captain.

Sitting in a candle lit room is Griffin and Catherine "The brave" as they call her. She is a tough and brave captain, her crew has un wavering loyalty to her.

Griffin: Miss Catherine, i beg of you please let me travel with you. I want to see the world, i want to explore the mystery of the world.

Catherine: I'm sorry Griffin, but you are not qualified to sail with us. You are not strong enough.

Griffin: But i can be, please just give me a chance. I can start with anything, i can treat the sailors with my knowledge. I can help around the ship as well.

Catherine pauses to think for a minute as she look out the window. Truth be told the Elizabeth has been running low on crew, the capture of the monster has costed her men, good men.

Catherine: Alright Griffin, i will give you a chance. You can sail with us but if you fail we will drop you at the nearest harbor.

Griffin: Thank you miss Catherine! I won't let you down! - he said as he runs out of the room excited for what to come.

Over the span of a week, the Elizabeth sits in Platunia's harbor for repair and restock and now it is ready to set sail. Griffin is excited like a kid in a candy store. The sea wind brushes through his hair and the sun shines onto the wooden bow of the ship. Catherine is at the helm while her crew is adjusting the sails, keeping the ship clean.

Griffin:(This is my chance i won't let her down)

He immediately jumps into helping to secure the rope but he's too weak to and boy did he make a laughing scene for the rest

Griffin(Gah! This is harder than i thought..)

Jaiden "Glory" Curtiss: Come on yer bastards, give the new kid a break - he said as he offers a hand to help Griffin up from the floor.

Griffin: Thank you for helping me, didn't think it would be this hard.

Jaiden "Glory" Curtiss: No problem mate. Come 'ere i'll show how it's done.
