As Sushmita wanted to visit the temple, she was looking for the driver to ask him to drop her but couldn't find him anywhere. So she asked Akshat to drop her to the temple. When Akshat was in the temple he called the driver to know about his whereabouts because the other two drivers were with Ranbir and his parents with the respective cars and according to him, the third driver should be free. The driver informed him that he came to drop Guddan to the company which made him hell shocked. He ended the call after asking him to pick Sushmita from temple as he hurriedly drove towards the company.

As soon as he entered there, the scene shocked him to the core. The receptionist pushed Guddan and before she could fell, his reflexes immediately acted and held her.

Guddan opened her eyes to find her saviour holding her protectively in his arms. He made her stand straight and wrapped his one arm around her waist making her gaze at him while a red hue spread accross her cheeks.

His intense glare made the receptionist shudder but she built her courage to speak against Guddan trying to raise herself in Akshat's eyes.

Receptionist: Sir, she was constantly nagging to meet you. Even after denying number of times, she wasn't listening to me. So, I made her leav...

Akshat: Shut the hell up!!! How dare you to even touch her?

His loud, enraged voice made everyone gulp in fear.

Receptionist: Sir, she was....

Akshat: Shut up! Dare you speak a word against her and you wouldn't be able to speak again in your whole life.

Guddan held his hand making him look at her. She tried to calm his anger but the look on his face was enough to scream that she would be his anger's next prey.

Akshat: Pack your stuff and leave now. You are fired!

Receptionist: But what have I done, Sir? I was just.....

Akshat: You dared to misbehave with Mrs. Guddan Akshat Jindal!

Everyone looked at them wide eyed as he unveiled the astonishing information.

Akshat: Is this reason enough for you to shut your mouth and leave? Then you better be kind enough to leave from here.

She opened her mouth to speak again but his loud voice made her shut.

Akshat: Are you hard of hearing? I said you are fired!!!

She nodded at him not even daring to lift her head. She was about to leave when his voice stopped her.

Akshat: Keep an advice for free. Learn to behave with people irrespective of who they are, what they are and how they are. It would help you.

He turned to look at Guddan who was biting her lips anxiously. His one look was enough to still her. He passed her a hard glare that sent shivers down her spine.

He held her hand and dragged her with him to his cabin while she tried to match her steps with his without tripping and falling over.

Upon reaching his cabin, he shut the door and pinned her to it making her gulp nervously.

Akshat: Who asked you to come here?

She looked into his eyes with a blank face unable to speak under his intense glare.

Akshat: I asked you a damn question! Who asked you to come here?

His voice rose as anger seeped within him.

She shook her head not trusting her tongue enough to make sentences.

Akshat: Never, I repeat, Never ever dare to step out of the house without my permission! Do you get that?

She slowly nodded her head in agreement making him move back. She exhaled her breath that she didn't know she was holding from so long.

Akshat took deep breaths to calm his anger. Realizing, he lashed out his anger on her, he took a step forward, upon noticing which she moved back leaning more into the door making guilt resurface through him.

Akshat: I.... You.... No... Tod.... Whatever happened with you shouldn't have happened. I assure that you won't have to face this again. I will ask the manager to update your biometrics so that you won't need anyone's permission to enter here again.

Saying this, he entered into the washroom leaving her with her thoughts.

Was he trying to apologize?

That's something not shocking. He has already apologized to her earlier. But the fact that he was trying to apologize for someone else's behavior was what amazed her.

The most awaited evening arrived. All the hustle bustle that was going throughout the day finally converting into peace. The Jindal Mansion was beautifully decorated as if it has been set up in heaven. Why not? It was the reception of the person who solely owns it.

The living room was now devoid of any furniture. Instead, the furniture was replaced with round tables surrounded by chairs for the guests to present themselves. The space illuminated and smelled with heavenly fragrance. The huge sparkling chandelior glowing up like the full moon on a dark night. The place decorated with orchids and lillies. The steaming food spreading its aroma all over. The guests swarming around the food like bees. And why won't they, when they would be having the food all straight from a 5 star restaurant on their plates that too without paying for it.

Akshat was looking extremely dashing in his sparkling golden suit paired with black shirt and pants and not to forget his perfectly gelled hair enhancing his overall look. The theme decided by Ranbir for today's party was black, with a touch of gold exclusively for the couple. As he chatted about the ambience of the party currently with Ranbir and his family, he heard a chorus of gasps and praises as everyone's heads turned to a particular direction which was nowhere else than the staircase from where she was descending.

He sucked in a sharp breath taking in her form. It didn't look like she was descending the staircase instead,

An angel descending from heaven.

There she was wearing a golden net saree with zardozi of the same coloured fine glittering thread paired with an off-shoulder black velvet blouse. Her hair tied up in a bun, accessorized duly and a few tendrils of her hair falling on her face. Her neck adorned with the grand diamond neck piece that has been given by Sushmita which was the family's inheritance and the same matching sparkling earrings hanging in her ears as the stars in the sky.

This entire look of hers was hiding under a long golden veil which was again made of a net fabric absolutely not doing the job of hiding her beauty. Although, the chorus of praises were only for the overlook. The later is still a mystery.

Akshat couldn't seem to take his eyes off from her for the little that he has seen through the veil. His leg's muscles turning involuntary all of a sudden and moving towards her. He extended his hand to her as there were a few more steps for her to descend. She placed her hand in his receiving the much needed warmth for her freezing cold ones.

He led her to the exquisite cushioned sofa which was of the same gold coloured placed especially for the couple and made her sit as he followed next. Sushmita came forward and performed some of the rituals meant for the reception after which she asked Akshat to remove her veil for which he blatantly disagreed. But for the next look on his Grandmother's face, he knew he had to do this. Afterall, she did what women are best at.

Blackmailing. Emotional Blackmailing.

He turned towards her and delicately removed the veil. As each part of her face was revealed, his mouth was being opened involuntarily. At the end, his mouth was open wide looking at her.

He always found her beautiful. Even the first time he laid her gaze on her, when she was entirely drenched in mud. But today she looked ravishing. No. She looked .......

He couldn't find any word in his vocabulary that could match with how he wanted to express her beauty. The makeup has enhanced her beautiful features even more making her look like an enchantress.

Ranbir: Are you waiting for a fly to grace its presence in your mouth?

He asked smugly placing his fingers under Akshat's jaw making his mouth shut close. He hi-fied with Sushmita on how their plan of making Akshat smitten by Guddan was successful making him pass his infamous glare followed by a roll of eyes.

As they were listening to the never ending praises from all the guests who were gushing over the beauty of bride and how good the couple looked, the time arrived that they weren't eagerly waiting for. The time for photoshoot. The time where they have to act all sane and lovey dovey infront of the camera with fake smiles plastering on their faces.

The photographer was having a hard time almost begging them to stand close to each other. Ranbir who was helping him a while ago left him all alone in his misery as he had to attend a few guests. When he was almost on the verge of giving up, someone who crossed by ended up stumbling next to Guddan and as to protect her from falling Akshat wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her close to him which instantly made her look into his eyes.

Acting upon his reflexes, the photographer took this exact moment to capture the only picture that was real, candid and beautiful at the same time.

And not to forget effortless.
