SUNSHINE ORPHANAGE,

Guddan returns back after the incident happened during her interview. She had a tired and uneasy expression on her face. Neeru sees her and gets worried seeing her in this condition.

Neeru: Guddan, Kya hua tujhe? Aisa chehra kyun utra hua tera? Noukri mili ya nahi?

She asked Guddan handing a glass of water to her. Guddan drinks the water and shooks her head in denial.

Neeru: Ab kya hoga? Kaise chalega is anaath aashram (orphanage) ka kharcha??

Guddan: Pata nahi.

She rests her head on Neeru's shoulder trying to relieve herself.

Neeru: Kya hua? Unhone tujhe noukri par kyun nahi rakha?

Guddan: Maayi, wo hame noukri par nahi rakhna chahte the, hamara souda karna chahte the.

Neeru: Kya???

She just hummed in response and closed her eyes trying to forget that memory. It was nothing new for Neeru to witness that. This was what the people of high class society does to take the advantage of the helpless people, mostly girls. But she was proud of Guddan that she wasn't one of those who shows her helplessness to others and does anything to help herself out from the situation.

She raised Guddan's head and looked her with great admiration.

Neeru: Aaj bhale hi tu ye noukri haar gayi ho lekin meri parwarish jeet gayi aur mujhe tujh par bohot garv hai.

She kissed her forehead and made her lay on her lap caressing her hair. Guddan closes her eyes relsihing the moment. Even after facing the worst days in her life, the only reason she is always thankful to God is for gifting someone like her Maayi to her who showers her love in such a way that she forgets each and every difficulty she faces everyday in her life.

JINDAL MANSION,

Akshat returns to home with his grandmother Sushmita. When he was walking towards his room someone suddenly jumped on his back making him startle. He turns his face back only to witness his best friend grinning at him. He jerked him off from his body making him fall on the couch behind.

Ranbir: Owww!!! What's wrong with you bro!!!

Akshat: What's wrong with you??? Ye kya bachhon jaisi harkatein kar raha hai tu?

Ranbir: Says who??? Who himself behaves as a kid 24×7.

Vikram: I agree with my son's words.

Ranbir's father spoke in support of his son.

Akshat: Mai bachha tab tha jab mere parents the, not now.

An uneery silence covered the atmosphere sensing the depth of his words.

Ranbir: Dad, Akshat is behaving as #beingresponsible man.

Vikram: Aur tu kab uske jaisa banega?

He asked his son slapping his head for behaving childish all the time.

Aditi: Mera beta to abhi bhi bachha hai. Usse aap kaam karayenge kya?

His mother comes in support for his son now.

Vikram: Lo bhai, ab shuru hoga in Maa-bete ka senti drama jiska hissa banne ka mujhe koi shauk nahi hai. Mai to chala.....

Sushmita: Ruk ja beta. Mujhe tum logon se bohot zaroori baat karni hai.

Vikram: Boliye na Maa, kya kehna hai aapko?

Sushmita: Ranbir, tu hamesha kehta tha na ki tu apne Mummy Papa aur Akshat ko pareshan kar ke thak chuka hai. Ab tujhe pareshaan karne ke liye koi aur chahiye. To maine tere liye kisi ko dhoondh liya hai.

Ranbir: What??? No Dadi!!! Mujhe itni jaldi shaadi nahi karna. Abhi to mai bachha hun aur mujhe apni life jeena hai. Meri hazaaron girlfriends ka kya hoga. Oh no!! Dadi, this can't happen.

He pleaded holding her feet.

Sushmita: Mai teri shaadi ki baat nahi kar rahi hun. Uth bhi jaa ab!

He gets up from her feet and holds her hands.

Ranbir: To aap kiski baat kar rahi hai?

Sushmita: Mai tere liye Bhabhi laa rahi hun.

Ranbir (absent mindedly): Oh, good.

When he realised what she said, he squealed with joy.

Ranbir: What??? Bhabhi??? You mean Akshat ki band bajne wali hai?

Vikram: Ranbir!!

Ranbir: I mean music band, Dad!!! Oh God, I am so happy. Congrats bro!!!

He hugged Akshat congratulating him while he just held an expressionless face.

Ranbir: Waise tu ne mujhe bataya nahi ki wo khush naseeb ladki hai koun? Arey, Mai bhi apni Bhabhi se milna chahta hun.

Sushmita: Itni jaldi bhi kya hai tujhe. Abhi sirf ye decide hua hai ki teri Bhabhi aayegi lekin wo koun hogi ye decide karna abhi baaki hai.

Ranbir: Tension not, Dadi! Ham sab hai na. Akshat ke liye best wife aur mere liye best Bhabhi ko dhundhenge.

Sushmita: Ha, ha ab to ye tum logon ki hi zimmedari hogi kyunki is umar me is budhiya se to itne kaam nahi ho payenge.

Ranbir: Dadi, aap koi budhiya nahi ho. Infact, is ghar me sab se young to aap hi hai. Hayeee, meri jawaan Dadi!!!

Sushmita: Chup kar! Abhi se ye sab bolne ki aadat chhod de warna teri Bhabhi ko achha nahi lagega.

Ranbir: Fikar not, Dadi. Apni Bhabhi ke liye mai to isse bhi zyaada cheesie dialogues save kar ke rakhunga.

Being irritated with Ranbir's nonsense talks, Akshat left to his room to take rest before his life changes completely within a snap of time.

Aditi: Maa ji, Akshat sach me shaadi ke liye maan gaya?

Sushmita: Haa. Thodi mehnat lagi use manane ke liye lekin phir wo maan gaya.

Vikram: Shukr hai Bhagwaan ka warna wo kab tak aise rehta. He needed a change in his life.

Ranbir: Baat to sahi hai Dad lekin we need to find someone jo Akshat ko is condition me sambhaal sake. Who will be ready to take this challenge up for her own life.

Sushmita: Ab bas ek achhi ladki mil jaaye to bas jald se jald ye shaadi kara denge.

She prays to God for the better life of his grandson and help her in finding a girl for him who will have the capability to change him as the previous version of his self.

Guddan was still lying on Neeru's lap when Bunty entered the room shouting for them.

Bunty: Maayi, Didi!!! Jaldi aao, dekho Rani ko kya ho gaya.

Neeru: Kya hua? Aise kyun chilla raha hai?

Bunty: Aap chaliye to aur Didi tu bhi chal. Jaldi!!!

They both go along with Bunty and sees the girl aged around 8 years coughing hard with blood in her mucus.

Guddan: Rani!!! Kya hua tujhe??

She asked caressing her back to soothe her.

Bunty: Didi, pata nahi isne kya kha liya aur tab se ultiyan kare ja rahi hai aur ab khoon nikal raha hai.

Neeru: Hey Bhagwan!!! Guddan ise hospital le jaana hoga.

Guddan: Ha Maayi! Bunty, bahar se auto rickshaw wale Kaka ko bula kar la.

Bunty: Ha, abhi bulata hun.

After vomiting and coughing badly, Rani was so exhausted and was about to faint but Guddan held her and tried to keep her up till she reaches the hospital.

Guddan picks her up and sits along with her.

Guddan: Bunty, sab ka dhyaan rakhna. Kisi ko bahar mat jaane dena, mai aur Maayi aa jayenge.

Bunty: Tu ja, yahaan ki tension mat le. Mai sambhal lunga.

They head towards the hospital.

HOSPITAL,

Neeru: Guddan, tu ise private hospital me to le kar aa gayi lekin itna kharcha kahan se aayega. Meri baat maan ise sarkaari (government) hospital me le jaate hai.

Guddan: Maayi, aap iski haalat to dekhiye. Abhi Rani ki jaan se badh kar kuchh bhi nahi hai. Wahaan do chaar din tak treatment shuru nahi karte aur ab ise jald se jald treatment ki zaroorat hai.

They take her inside and the doctor examines her.

Guddan: Kya hua hai ise?

Doctor: Isne kuchh zehreela (poisonous) kha liya hai. Isiliye iski ye haalat hai.

Guddan: Zeher??? Doctor, ye thik to ho jaayegi na?

Doctor: Kitna time hua hai iski haalat ko?

Guddan: Ek ghante ke qareeb.

Doctor: Hame jaldi se iska stomach wash karna hoga isse pehle ki zeher poore khoon me mil jaaye.

Guddan: Please, jaldi kariye. Rani ko kuchh nahi hona chahiye.

Doctor: Sister, patient to treatment ward me le kar jaao aur inko form do aur payment le lena.

Neeru (whispering to Guddan): Abhi treatment shuru kiya nahi hai paise lene ki baat kar rahe hai. Ab bhi waqt hai ise yahaan se le chalte hai.

Guddan: Dimaag kharaab ho gaya hai kya aapka Maayi! Suna nahi, zeher kha liya hai usne aur aapko ab bhi paison ki padi hai.

Neeru: Baat paison ki hi hai. Jab hamare paas paise hai hi nahi to tu jama kya karegi?

Guddan: Ham kuchh bhi kar lenge lekin ise yahan se nahi le jaayenge.

The nurse hands her the form and Guddan fills it.

Nurse: Abhi aap Rs.5,000 pay kar dijiye, baaki ka treatment ke baad pay karna hoga.

Guddan: Thik hai. Ham thodi der me pay kar denge. Aap treatment shuru karne ke liye keh dijiye.

Neeru: 5,000 bas nahi hai jo treatment ke baad aur paise lenge.

Guddan: Aap wo sab baatein sochna band kariye aur bataiye ki locker me kitne paise bache hai.

Neeru: Kuchh 6,7 hazaar honge.

Guddan: Mai wo paise le kar aati hun.

Neeru: Agar hamne wo paise istemaal kar liye to is mahine khane ke liye bhi kuchh nahi rahega hamare paas.

Guddan: Ham manage kar lenge. Aap uski tension mat lijiye. Aap yehi rukiye aur agar koi bhi problem huyi to mujhe call karna.

Neeru: Thik hai.

Guddan goes to the orphanage and returns back with the money as soon she could and paid it.

They were waiting for the treatment to be completed.

Neeru: Abhi to tu ne wo paise de kar treatment shuru kara diya lekin treatment ke baad ke paise kahaan se degi?

Guddan: Wahi to mai bhi soch rahi hun.

She was in her deep thoughts playing with her fingers when she touched her rings and she looked at that. Neeru sees Guddan looking at her rings and then they both look at each other.

Neeru: Aisa karne ke baare me sochna bhi mat.

Guddan: Iske alawa mere paas aur koi option bhi nahi hai. Ise bech kar hi mujhe baaki treatment ka payment karna padega.

Neeru: Tu ne ise kitne shouk se kharida tha apni pehli kamayi se.

Guddan: To kya hua? Hame isse itna pyaar nahi hai jitna Rani se hai.

Neeru: Tu ise nahi bechegi. Teri pehli kamaayi......

Guddan: Wahi to Maayi, ye hamari pehi kamaayi thi, aakhri nahi. Jab ham phir se kamayenge tab phir khareed lenge. Ye hamari chahat thi lekin ab ye Rani ki zaroorat hai.

Neeru: Lekin Guddan....

Guddan: Ham aate hai.

Saying that she left the hospital in order to sell the gold rings which she had bought with her first earning.

After a while, the nurse comes to Neeru handing her the bills and reports.

Nurse: Doctor ki fees, medicines aur sab kharche mila kar ye bill de diye hai maine. Poore 15,000 ki payment karni hogi.

Neeru: 15,000???

Nurse: Ji. Aur us bachhi ka treatment ho gaya hai, ham use normal ward me shift kar rahe hai. Wo abhi behosh hai lekin agar aap chahe to usse mil sakte hai.

Neeru: Ha, ha aap mujhe uske paas le chaliye.

Nurse: Thik hai chaliye mere saath.

Neeru: Use chhutti kab di jayegi?

Nurse: Wo abhi bilkul thik hai agar aap chahe to aaj shaam ko use le ja sakte hai.

Neeru: Dhanyawaad.

She was sitting near Rani and calls Guddan.

Guddan (on call): Ha Maayi, kya hua?

Neeru (on call): Wo Rani ab bilkul thik hai aur nurse ne kaha ki ham use shaam tak ghar waapas le jaa sakte hai.

Guddan (on call): Ye to bohot achhi baat hai.

Neeru (on call): Usne bill bhi de diya hai.

Guddan (on call): Kitne ka bill hai?

Neeru (on call): 15,000.

Guddan (on call): Kya???

Neeru (on call): Ha, utne paise aa jayenge na?

Guddan (on call): Ha Maayi, aap tension mat lijiye.

Neeru (on call): Tu jhoot to nahi bol rahi hai na?

Guddan (on call): Mai kyun jhoot bolungi. Maayi, abhi mai rakhti hun aapki aawaz thik se nahi aa rahi hai shayad network problem hogi. Mai thodi der me hospital aa kar baat karti hun.

Before Neeru could say something to her the call ended.

On the other hand, Guddan looked at the money in her hand which was only 10,000.

Guddan: Ab kya kare ham? Maayi se to keh diya lekin ab bill kaise pay karenge?

She went to the nearby departmental store where she usually buy the orphanage's necessities from.

Guddan: Namaste Kaka!

Kaka: Arey Guddan bitiya tu?? Kya chahiye aaj?

Guddan: Aapki madad.

Kaka: Kya ho gaya?

Guddan narrated the whole incident to him.

Kaka: Hey bhagwan! Ab wo thik to hai na?

Guddan: Ha wo bilkul thik hai. Mere paas uski treatment ka bill pay karne ke liye poore paise nahi hai. Agar aap kuchh help kar de dete to aapki bohot badi meherbaani hogi.

Kaka: Tujhe yaad hai na pichle do mahinon ke raashan ka udhaar ab bhi hai aur tu phir......

Guddan: Sab yaad hai mujhe lekin please aap thodi help kar dijiye. I promise mai ek hafte ke andar aapke poore paise waapas kar dungi.

Kaka: Lekin Guddan bitiya.....

Guddan: Pleaseeeee.....please Kaka.

Kaka: Mujhe tujh par bharosa hai isiliye de raha hun agar koi aur hota to nahi deta.

Guddan: Thankyou, Thankyou so much Kaka.

He hands her the required amount and she was about to leave when she remembers something.

Guddan: Kaka, Maayi ko ye baat mat batana.

Kaka: Tu ne phir se usse jhoot bola hai na?

Guddan: Ha wo...

Kaka: Pichhle baar bhi tu ne aisa hi kya tha.

Guddan: Aap ko pata hai na wo ek chhoti si baat ko raayi ka pahaad bana kar tension leti hai. Isiliye aap unhe kuchh mat batana. Mai chalti hun wo mera wait kar rahi hogi.

She leaves for the hospital. She pays the bill and brings Rani home after her discharge.

NEXT MORNING,

Neeru and Guddan both were in the kitchen preparing breakfast for the children.

Guddan: Maayi, aap mujhe ek baat bataiye! Ye achanak se orphanage ke kharche ke liye itni pareshaani kaise hone lagi? Kuchh mahinon pehle tak to sab thik tha na.

Maayi: Tujhe pata hai na Maalik aur Madam ke mout ke baad se ye sab ho raha hai.

Guddan: Pata hai hame lekin unke baad bhi to koi hoga na jo is orphanage ko sambhaal sake.

Neeru: Tu hai na is aashram ko sambhaalne ke liye to hame kisi aur ki kya zaroorat hai.

Guddan: Aap to aise bol rahe hai jaise ham apna ye belan (rolling pin), jaadu ki chhadi (magic wand) ki tarah ghumayenge aur koi jaadu ho jayega.

Just then they hear the phone ringing.

Guddan: Lo is phone ne bhi hamari dialogue ki ghanti baja di. Jaa kar baat kariye, Maayi.

Maayi: Mai abhi aayi, jab tak tu ye sabzi chalati rehna warna jal jaayega.

Guddan: Aap jaiye mai dekh lungi.

Neeru goes to speak and comes with a content smile after speaking to the person.

Guddan: Itna kis baat par muskuraayi ja rahi hai aap? Koi lottery lag gayi kya?

Neeru: Lottery nahi, wo kya kehte hai, wo..... Wo Jackpot ha, wo haath laga hai.

Guddan: Kya hua saaf saaf bataiye na.

Neeru: Aaj shaam ko is aashram ke maalik aane wale hai.

Guddan: Maalik? Koun maalik? Ye orphanage to uncle aunty ke naam par tha na to koi aur kaise? Agar kisine....

Neeru: Apne dimaag ke ghodon ko lagaam de. Wo unka beta hi hai jo aaj shaam ham se milne aa rahe hai.

Guddan: Oh! Waise koun hai wo? Wo pehle yahaan aaye hai kya?

Neeru: Nahi wo pehli baar aa rahe hai. Maine kal Rani ke baare me bataya tha aur hamare kharche ki pareshani ke baare me bhi. Shayad wo hamari madad ke liye aa rahe hai.

Guddan: Achha hoga agar hamari madad ho jaaye to.

EVENING,

Guddan was playing with the kids in the garden. She was building castles with the mud while narrating a story to the children.

Guddan: Ab yahan se hogi Rajkumar ki entry wo bhi cham chamati safed ghode par.

She says pointing towards the entry of the castle and just then a white BMW enters through the huge gate of the orphanage declaring the entry of her real life Prince.

Bunty: Wo dekho aa gaya Rajkumar.

He pointed towards the gate from where the car was entering and everyone looked there.

Bunty: Lekin Di wo safed ghodi nahi safed gaadi hai.

Before she could reply to him, the car's tyres spilled the wet mud on her face. She wiped her eyes and opened to see the person standing in front of her.

He was tall, muscular with well built body and had a jaw dropping physique. His facial features were sharp and attracting. He removed his sunglasses only to make her meet with the pair of most beautiful dark brown eyes in which she found herself drowning. He snapped his fingers infront of her to make her come out of her dreamworld as she was blocking his way to enter inside.

Guddan: Kya badtameezi hai ye?

Man: Excuse me!!!

Guddan: Excused! Kya tareeqa hai ye? Ek to aapne hamari ye haalat ki hai (pointing towards the mud on her face and clothes) aur hamare saamne itne akad kar khade hai. Sorry to bolna door ulta hame attitude dikha rahe hai.

Man: Galti?? Meri koi galti nahi hai. Infact, galti tumhari hai! Maine kaha tha tumse is keechad me khelne ke liye.

Guddan: Oh, Mister, ise keechad nahi mitti bolte hai. Aur hamari koi galti nahi hai agar.....

Man: Stop speaking rubbish and leave my way. Mere paas tumse khade ho kar baat karne ke liye time nahi hai.

Guddan: Ha to hame bhi koi shouk nahi hai aapse baat karne ka.

She was about to leave but slips because of the wet mud and was about to fall facing her face to the mud but he helds her hand when her face was just some distance apart from the ground. He makes her stand straight and immediately gets in.

She looks at the mud castle which she made which was nothing but only mud now as he walked on it and destroyed it completely. She felt wetness in her eyes as tears filled in it. She was crying on something which she dreamt of but little did she knew that he was the one who will build her dream palace for real.
