The next day AK was no where to be seen as according to the guards, she left early in the morning with out even informing anyone. The whole day passed by but she didn't returned back to home. She wasn't a kid but she was emotionally very weak which she doesn't allows to show anyone but it was very well potrayed through her actions.

Ahaan: Maasi, Mumma kahaan hai? Abhi tak kyun nahi aayi?

Revati: Shooting me busy hogi. Maine unhe call bhi kiya lekin unhone receive nahi kiya.

Ahaan: Subah se raat ho gayi, ek call bhi nahi kiya. Kuchh hua hai kya?

She remembered yesterday's incident but chose not to inform him about it.

Revati: Kuchh nahi hua hai. Mai abhi Rajiv uncle ko call karke pooch leti hun. Okay?

Ahaan: Haa, jaldi.

Revati: Unhone kaha ki Mumma set par hi hai. Kal Sunday hai na isiliye late night tak shooting ho rahi hai. Aap jaa kar so jao unhe aane me bohot late ho jayegi.

Ahaan: Nahi, mai Mumma ke aane ka wait karunga.

Revati: Ahaan, zid nahi karte. Aap jaa kar so jaaiye warna aapko pata hai na Mumma kitna gussa karengi.

Ahaan: Lekin mujhe Mumma se baat karni hai.

Revati: Kal to Mumma ghar par hi rahegi na to aap kal baat kar lena. Abhi ja kar so jaiye.

Ahaan: Ok. Good night!

Revati: Good night!

Revati was waiting for her in the living room as she has to unlock the door when she comes as she couldn't risk by keeping the main door unlocked.

AJ: Revati, tum yahaan kya kar rahi ho? Ab tak soyi kyun nahi?

Revati: Wo Di ka wait kar rahi hun.

AJ: Kuchh kaam tha kya usse?

Revati: Nahi, bas darwaaza lock hai na isiliye.

AJ: Tum bhi na, bas itni si baat ke liye. Tum jao, mai hun.

Revati: Lekin aap kyun?

AJ: Mujhe kaam hai isiliye mai jaag raha hun. Uski swaagat ke liye nahi. Tum jaa kar so jao.

Revati: Ok, good night!

AJ: Good night!

He goes to the study room after unlocking the door as he didn't wanted to be disturbed in between his work and started working.

It was around 2 am when he listened the door to be opened. As he was left with some more work, he decided to finish it and then leave. As soon as he finishes his work, he arranges all his files and then moved to the living room only to find AK lazily sleeping on the couch. He first locked the door and then came near to her to wake up.

AJ: Tumhe room diya gaya hai, yahaan sone ki zaroorat nahi hai.

He spoke to her but of no use as she didn't even moved an inch.

AJ: Tumhe sunayi de raha hai ya bhi nahi? Utho!!

This time he said a bit loud but she didn't react as if she was in deep sleep. He slowly made his hand's way to her cheek but pulled back before he could touch her. He again forwards his hand hesitantly and slightly patted her cheek but was shocked when he found her abnormal body temperature. She was burning with fever, high fever. He touched her forehead which was hotter than her cheeks. He shook her a little to wake her up but she didn't responded. Left with no other option, he picked her up in his arms and carried her to her room. He reached her room but the door was locked and the key was with her. He took her to his room and laid her on his bed. He again came down to bring her purse and a bowl of ice cold water with wet towels. He found the key in her purse and unlocked the door. He then took her to her room and placed cold wet towels on her forehead to reduce the temperature. After a while, her temperature was little bit reduced and she slowly opened her eyes to only to find him beside her. She tried to sit straight and he helped her in doing so.

AK: Mai yahaan kaise??

AJ: Ud kar aayi ho!

AK: What??

AJ: Jab pata hai ud kar nahi aa sakti uska matlab yehi hua na ki koi tumhe yahaan laya hai. Aur mere alaawa tumhe yahaan koi aur dikh raha hai kya?

AK: To aise seedhe jawaab dene me kya problem ho rahi thi aapko pehle?

AJ: Tum bhi to faaltu ke sawaal poochti ho.

AK: To ab important sawaal pooch leti hun. Mujhe hua kya hai?

AJ: Ye to tumhe batana chahiye ki tumhe kya hua hai. Mujhe kaise pata hoga.

AK: Mujhe kya hoga?? Mai to bilkul thik hun.

AJ: Dikh hi raha tha. Tez bukhaar ki wajah se behosh padi thi neeche.

AK: What??

She touched her own forehead but it was cool because the temperature reduced.

AJ: Ab touch karne ka kya faayda, jab bukhaar kam ho gaya hai.

AK: Mujhe bukhaar kaise aa sakta hai?

AJ: Tum insaan nahi ho? Ya phir usne aane se pehle tumhe bataya nahi?

AK: Kitni faaltu baatein karte hai aap! Aur ulta hame taane maarte hai!

AJ: Bakwaas band karo aur ye batao ki dinner kiya tha ya nahi?

AK: Kiya tha, kyun?

AJ: Khane ke baad dawaayi li thi?

She remains silent.

AJ: Ek bachhe ki maa ho, phir bhi itni irresponsible kaise ho sakti ho? Sone ki koshish bhi mat karna, mai 10 minute me waapas aaunga.

AK: Kyun??

He chose not to answer her and left the room. He went to the kitchen to prepare soup for her. He took it along with the medicines to her room.

AJ: Ye lo, soup piyo aur dawaayi kha lena.

AK: Ye sab karne ki zaroorat nahi thi.

AJ: Kisi ne special guest service ki demand ki thi, usi ke liye hai ye sab.

AK: Aise to meri koi baat seriously nahi lete to phir ye kaise le li?

AJ: Ye sawaal jawaab ka session band karo aur chup chap se soup piyo.

AK: Thik hai.

She took the bowl and started having the soup.

AK: Aap yahan kyun hai? Apne kamre me jaaiye?

AJ: Baat to tum meri bhi nahi maanti, ye baat maan li, iska matlab kuchh to karogi tum. Isiliye jab tak tum ye soup khatam karke dawaayi nahi le leti tab tak mai yahaan se nahi jaunga.

AK: Mai khud kar sakti hun ye sab.

AJ: Haa, to karo, maine tumhe nahi roka hai.

She was having the soup but it spilled all over her mouth and was dripping through her chin.

AJ: Guddan! Aaram se!

He leaned towards her and wiped her mouth with the tissue. He was busy in his own work but she was busy in staring him. He looked at her only to find her looking into his eyes as if trying to read them.

Guddan (in her mind): Aapki aankhon me aaj bhi hamare liye wahi pyaar dikhta hai jo kuchh saalon pehle tha Jindal Sahab.

AJ (in his mind): Wahi aankhein hai lekin usme wo pyaar nahi. Wahi ehsaas hai lekin use bayaan karne wale shabd nahi. Wahi chehra hai lekin wo meri Guddan nahi!

Guddan (in her mind): Usi ghar me hai lekin ye ghar hamara nahi. Bahuein hamari hai, phir bhi hamari nahi. Saas ho kar bhi ham unki saas nahi. Hamari Saas hamari ho kar bhi hamari Dadi hai. Aap hamare saamne, hamare saath ho kar bhi hamare nahi. Ham donon ke bachhe ki jagah aapki aur Antara ki beti hai. Kyun sab kuchh hamara ho kar bhi hamara nahi hai Jindal Sahab?

AJ (in his mind): Kyun kabhi tumhare saath ho kar duniya bhul jata hun? Kyun ajnabi ke saath akela mehsoos nahi karta hun? Kyun tumhari nazdeeki dil ko thehra deti hai? Kyun tumse doori dil ko ghaav deti hai? Kyun tumhare saamne mera dimaag haar kar dil ko jita deta hai? Kyun tum meri Guddan na ho kar bhi mujhe uske hone ka ehsaas dilati ho?

When his mind reminded his heart that she is not his wife, his life, his love, Guddan, he broke the eye contact with her. He found his hand in the air near her mouth with the tissue. She too looked away avoiding his gaze.

AJ: Isiliye nahi ja raha tha. Abhi to sirf apne chehre par soup giraya, agar mai chala jata to poora ka poora soup khud par gira deti.

He said to lighten the situation. But she avoided him and continued having the soup. The wind blew making her hair float in the air which was obstructing her to have the soup. She tried to remove it but failed as she was holding the bowl and spoon. Sensing the trouble, he swiftly moved the hair locks behind her left ear. He spotted a mole just 2 inches below her left ear, exactly at the same spot where Guddan had. Just to ensure himself he rubbed the spot with his thumb finger. His touch was sending shiverings to her and to control herself she moved her neck to indicate him to remove his hand.

AK (thinking): Kahin inhe mujh par shak to nahi ho gaya?

AJ (thinking): Kahin, ye sach me Guddan to nahi? Or is this just a mere coincidence?

AK: Aap jaiye apne kamre me, agar aapki patni ne itni raat ko aapko kamre me nahi dekha to pareshan ho jaayegi.

Ignoring her, he continued to sit on her bed. She peeped into his room through the balcony door of her room only to find it empty. She looked at him shocked trying to understand what's going on. Even though, she noticed it before that they both don't share the same room, she never over thought about it.

AK: Aapki wife aapke kamre me kyun nahi hai? Aap donon ek saath nahi rehte?

AJ: Don't you think you shouldn't interfere in my personal matters?

AK: Sochne ko to bohot kuchh hai. But I don't have space for thinking.

AJ: As in??

AK: As in..... Dadi mujhe kabhi mere naam se kyun nahi bulati? Revati, yahaan bilkul ek family member ki tarah kyun rehti hai?
Kabhi kabhi, aap mujhe ye alag naam se kyun bulaate hai?
Aur bhi bohot saari baatein hai sochne ke liye but I chose to ignore.

AJ: Then keep ignoring!

AK: As if I would overthink if you won't suggest me!!

AJ: Who knows, you might have done!

AK: Itna faaltu time nahi hai mere paas. Aur bhi bohot kaam hote hai mujhe.

AJ: Mujhe kuchh kehna tha tumse.

AK: Aise bol rahe hai agar mai mana karungi to aap kahenge hi nahi.

AJ: I am sorry! Kal raat jo kuchh bhi hua nahi hona tha. No one is forcing you to stay here, if you aren't comfortable you can go back to your home.

AK: Agar kal ke baare me ham baat na hi kare to hi achha hoga. Aur rahi baat ye ghar chhodne ki to jis maqsad se mai yahaan aayi hun, use poora kiye bina yahaan se nahi jaane wali.

AJ: Kaisa maqsad?

AK: Aise kya dekh rahe hai? Koi jaasoosi nahi karne aayi hun. Ahaan ke liye yahaan aayi thi aur usi ke liye mai yahaan hun. Aur mujhe nahi lagta use ab akele achha lagega. Kuchh hi dinon me is family me achhi tarah mingle ho gaya hai.

AJ: He always wanted family's love, he craved for it, for his family, his own family.

Knowing where the conversation was heading to, she chose to divert it.

AK: I think you should leave now, it's too late.

AJ: Yeah! Have your medicine.

She had her medicine and laid on her bed covering herself with the duvet. He was leaving towards his room but she held his hand which made him turn towards her.

AK: Thankyou!

He just smiled in response and left her room.

NEXT MORNING,

Durga: AJ aur AK donon breakfast ke liye kyun nahi aaye?

Revati: Di ka late night shoot tha, to shaayad wo ab tak so rahi hai.

Lakshmi: Lekin AJ ko kya ho gaya? Wo to kabhi late nahi hote.

Revati: Wo kal raat bohot late tak kaam kar rahe the isiliye shayad wo bhi so rahe ho.

Durga: Jo bhi ho mujhe kuchh thik nahi lag raha hai.

Dadi: Tum log kaisi baatein kar rahe ho!! Arey, wo donon ghar par hi hai. Dekhna hai to jaa kar dekhlo.

Ahaan: Haa Maasi chaliye na, mujhe bhi Mumma se milna hai.

Revati: Thik hai to chalte hai upar.

Everyone go upstairs but as the door was closed they knocked on the door but they didn't opened it. They again knocked for sometime which wasn't like knocking but banging. Irritated with the loud banging on the door, their sleep was disturbed and they both opened their doors at once.

"Kya hua???"

They both asked at the same time with annoyance.

Saru: Kuchh nahi AJ, hame laga aap donon ek hi kamre se niklenge.

"What??"

Durga: Kuchh nahi AJ, ye Saru to kuchh bhi bolte rehti hai.

AJ: Aap sab itni raat ko yahaan kya kar rahe hai?

Lakshmi: Raat?? AJ, subah ke 10 baj rahe hai!

Durga: Aur aap donon breakfast ke liye bhi nahi aaye isiliye ham sab dekhne aa gaye.

AJ: Wo aaj late ho gaya. Mai bas aa raha hun.

Ahaan goes to AK and hugs her.

Ahaan: Mumma!! I missed you!

AK: Lekin Mumma to yahin hai na.

Ahaan: Aap kal poore din ghar par nahi thi.

AK: Haa, kuchh kaam tha mujhe.

Ahaan: Mumma, you are hot!

Durga: Ahaan, aisi baatein nahi karte.

Ahaan: Maine kya kaha? Mumma ka haath sach me hot hai. Mumma, aapko fever hai?

Revati: Di, kya hua? Aapki tabiyat thik nahi hai??

AK: Bas thoda sa fever hai, thik ho jayega.

Arya: Angel ko fever hai! Koi doctor ko bulao, meri Angel ko thik karna hai.

AK: Princess, iski koi zaroorat nahi hai. Aapki Angel bilkul thik hai.

Arya: Dadda, aap bolo na Angel ko ki wo doctor se ilaaj karwaye.

AJ: She is right! Durga bahu, aap doctor ko bula lijiye.

AK: I'm fine. I don't need a doctor.

AJ: Tumse kisi ne nahi poocha hai. Ghar me Maa hai, bachhe hai, viral ho sakta hai. We need to be careful! Aap doctor ko call kariye, Durga bahu.

Durga: Ji AJ!

The doctor comes and does the check up.

Doctor: Inke samples le liye hai, reports shaam tak aa jayenge. Tab tak aap rest kijiye aur khane ke baad ye dawaaiyan le lijiyega.

Revati: Thankyou Doctor!

Doctor: Mai chalta hun, Mr. Jindal!

Lakshmi: Ham aapke liye breakfast aur dawayi lekar aate hai. Tab tak aap aaram kariye.

Ahaan: Mumma, ab aap is bed se bilkul bhi nahi uthengi.

Arya: Bilkul sahi kaha Ahaan ne. Aur ham donon aapka khayaal rakhenge.

AK: Bachhe, mai bilkul thik hun. Aur aap donon bhi abhi poori tarah se thik nahi huye hai to aap bhi rest kijiye. Aur atleast jab tak reports nahi aa jate tab tak mujhse door rahiye. Viral fever ho sakta hi mujhe.

Arya: Thik hai, ham donon aapse door rahenge lekin ek shart par.

AK: Kaisi shart?

Arya: Dadda!! Aap idhar aaiye.

AJ: Kya hua princess?

Arya: Aap Angel ka khayal rakhenge.

AJ: Mai?? Kyun?? Wo bachhi nahi hai. Khud ka khayal rakh sakti hai.

Arya: Mujhe fever hota hai to aap mera khayaal rakhte hai na, to ab usi tarah aapko Angel ka bhi rakhna hai.

AJ: Lekin Arya....

Arya: Mujhe kuchh nahi sunna. Aap karenge matlab karenge.

AJ: Achha thik hai.
(To AK): Akshat Jindal at your service, Ma'am!

He bowed a little infront of AK and they all burst out laughing seeing his gesture.

AJ (To AK): Badi hasi aa rahi hai tumhe?

AK: Mauke par chauka maar lena chahiye. Pata nahi phir aisi opportunity mile ya nahi.

AFTERNOON,

Ahaan: Mumma, aapne cheating ki hai!

AK: Maine kya kiya, Ahaan?

Ahaan: Aapne deal kiya tha na ki aap aaj poora din mere saath rahenge lekin aap bimaar ho kar apna promise tod diya. To ki na aapne cheating.

AK: Achha, to ye baat hai. Lekin mai to phir bhi abhi aapke saath hun aur mai khel bhi sakti hun.

Ahaan: Bilkul nahi, aap to kabhi hame bukhaar me khelne nahi deti to aap bhi nahi khelengi. Chup chap rest kijiye.

AK: Ok, boss! As you say!

AJ enters the room with a tray containing a plate of khichdi and her medicines.

AJ: Arya, Ahaan, aap donon neeche jaa kar lunch kar lijiye aur phir rest kar lijiye.

Ahaan: Nahi, hame yahin rehna hai.

AK: Ahaan zid nahi karte. Abhi mai bhi to so jaungi na to aap donon yahan kya karoge. Isiliye aap donon neeche jaiye, lunch kariye aur so jaiye.

Arya: Ok Angel, take care!

AJ: Ye lo, kha lo.

AK: Khichdi???

AJ: Haa. To kya biryani chahiye tumhe?

AK: Kaash mil jaati!!

AJ: Biryani samajh kar kha lena.

AK: Kha to lenge lekin mujhe kuchh aur bhi chahiye.

AJ: Kya??

She gestures hin to come forward so that she could whisper in his ear.

AK: Icecream!

AJ: Dimaag kharaab hai tumhara? Bukhaar sar par chadha hua hai aur tumhe icecream khani hai?

AK: Please na!!! Pata nahi kitne mahine pehle icecream khayi thi maine.

AJ: Mahine?? Abhi 10 din bhi nahi huye hai us party ko jahaan baith kar tum tubs of icecream kha rahi thi.

AK: Kitni puraani baat hai wo. Please icecream la dijiye na. Bohot man kar raha hai khane ka.

AJ: No way!

AK: Pleaseeeee......

AJ: No!

AK: Thik hai to ham khana bhi nahi khayenge aur dawayi bhi nahi lenge.

AJ: Ye sab blackmailing nahi chalegi.

AK: Icecream ke liye sab chalta hai.

AJ: Whatever! Tumhe icecream nahi milne wala hai.

AK: Pleaseeeee na...

AJ: Keh diya na ek baar nahi matlab nahi.

AK: Mujhe bhi nahi khana phir.

She keeps the tray on the table and slept covering her face with the duvet.

AJ: Ye sab mere saamne nahi chalne wala. Utho!

He said removing it from her face but she was adamant too. She pulled it again and slept with an angry pout.

He waited for few minutes expecting that she will wake and have her lunch but she was way more stubborn than him.

Losing to her stubbornness, he brought her favourite icecream and waked her up but she refused to wake up.

AJ: Nahi uthna hai to mat utho lekin baad me mat kehna ki icecream pighal gaya hai.

She waked up quickly and sees his hand which had her favourite icecream. She tried to take it but he pulled his hand behind him.

AJ: Pehle wo.

He pointed towards the tray kept there. She took it, completed her lunch and had her medicine.

AK: Ab dijiye.

He handed over it to her and she was eating it relishing each and every spoon of it. When she sees him looking at her, she forwards a spoon to him but he refuses to eat and she continues eating it.

AJ: Ab so jao warna wo donon mujhe raat bhar chain se sone nahi denge.

She was about to sleep but a notification of a message ringed in her phone. She checked the message which made her hell shocked and the phone dropped from her hands just infront of him. He noticed her worried face and was about to see the message in her phone but she picked it up before he could see.

AJ: Kya hua? Tum kuchh thik nahi lag rahi!

AK: Ma..mai thik hun. Wo..wo.. bas phone haath se slip ho gaya.

He leaves the room and she again looks at the message.

"Ahaan will soon get to know that he is an illegitimate child."

AK: Koun hai ye? Aur wo Ahaan ko ye sab kyun batana chahta hai?
