AK: Bhai, kya hua itni urgently kyun bulaaya tha?

Kunal: Maine tujhse kaha tha na ki tere us picture ko dikhane ke baad zaroor hame kuchh clue milega to bas wahi....

AK: Matlab pata chal gaya ki wo koun tha?

Kunal: Exactly nahi but kuchh pata chala hai jiski madad se shayad hame pakka proof mil jaaye. Aaj subah Jindal Bhavan ke location se ek number par call kiya gaya aur wo ek criminal ka number tha jo lockup me hai. Uska phone to police ke paas hai isiliye wo call receive nahi ho paya. Aur jahaan tak mujhe lagta hai ye call isiliye kiya gaya tha taaki Aadarsh ke related hi sawaal kar sake.

AK: Lekin Bhai wo number tha kiska?

Kunal: Kisi Raju ke name par registered hai. Pata chala ki wo wahaan ka helper hai.

AK: Raju? Bhai, Jindal Bhavan ke saare workers aaj bhi wahi hai jo 6 saal pehle the aur mai achhe se jaanti hun ki unme se koi bhi aisa kaam nahi kar sakta. Zaroor baat kuchh aur hai warna koi bhi aise hi kisi criminal ko call kyun karega.

Kunal: Wahi to pata karna hai ki usne aisa kyun kiya.

AK: Aisa bhi to ho sakta hai na ki usne nahi balki kisi aur ne aisa kiya ho.

Kunal: Aise kaise? Aur agar ye kisi aur ne kiya bhi hai to hame pata kaise chalega ki wo kisne kiya tha?

AK: Aap wo sab mujh par chhod dijiye, mai wo sab pata karlungi.

Kunal: Are you sure?

AK: Haan Bhai..... Arey, Ye to dikhana hi bhool gayi aapko.

She handed him the newspaper she had brought along with her.

Kunal: Ye to wahi aadmi hai na jisne us din tum par attack kiya tha?

AK: Ha bhai, aapne ek ke baare me bataya tha jo ki already mar chuka hai aur ye wo doosra wala hai. Pehle to sirf paise kha kar kaam karta tha aur ab teenagers me drugs ki smuggling bhi start kar diya hai isne. Bhai, isse pehle ki police ise arrest kar le hame ise pakadna hoga warna ham isse apne case ke related me koi baat nahi kar paayenge.

Kunal: Baat to tum sahi keh rahi ho lekin hame pata lagana padega ki ye ab  Indore me kahaan hai jo ki obviously kisi ko pata nahi hai.

AK: Mere paas ek idea hai jisse ham ise pakad sakte hai.

Kunal: Kya?

AK: Is article me bataya gaya hai ki ye apna appearance change karke aise jaghon par ja raha hai jahaan teenagers ho aur wo apna kaam aasani se kar sake. To kyun na ham un saari teenage based parties ya events ke baare me pata karein jo yahaan aane wale dinon me hone wale hai and I am sure ki wo apna kaam karne unme se kisi ek party me to zaroor aayega aur ham use wahaan pakad sakenge.

Kunal: Great idea! Mai apne team se baat karta hun aur un events ki saari information nikaalne ke liye kehta hun.

AK: Hope ki ham us tak jald hi pohonch sake.

Kunal: Zaroor hoga. Chhoti, abhi ke liye wo sab chhod aur tu mujhe ye bata ki tu jaanti tha na ki Maasi aur Uncle Indore aa gaye hai.

AK: Ha, mai Ahaan ke birthday wale din aapko wahi batana chahti thi lekin...

Kunal: Tu ne Ahaan ko unke saath kyun bhej diya. I know ki zaroor koi baat hai warna tu itna bada kadam kabhi nahi leti. Bata baat kya hai?

AK: Bhai, mujhe is baare me koi baat nahi karni.

Kunal: Lekin....

Before he could ask her she left the cabin not wanting to discuss anything else regarding that matter.

AJ: Finally you are back! I know you weren't trusting my words isiliye maine socha ki mai khud tumhe lawyer se mila dun tab jaakar shayad tumhe tasalli mil jaaye.

He moved towards her as she entered the house making her roll her eyes at his words. She was not at all interested in the case or the lawyer. For her, it was just waste of his efforts for acheiving absolutely nothing.

AK: Maine aapse pehle bhi kaha na ki mujhe....

AJ: Ek baar milne me koi problem nahi hai. Here, Mr. Joshi one of the leading lawyers of Indore.

AK just passed him a forceful smile followed by a stern glare to AJ.

Mr. Joshi: Don't worry AK. You will definitely win your case. By the way AJ, I think you gave me some wrong information regarding the case.

AJ: What?

Mr. Joshi: Yes! Aapne kaha ki ye ek single mother hai jiske wajah se hamare is case ko jeetne ke chances bohot kam nazar aa rahe the kyunki most of the times single parents ko custody nahi di jaati hai. But see she is married so we can say that we have almost won our case.

He pointed out the vermillion that was still present in her hairline despite numerous trials of cleaning it.

AK: I am a single mother! Ye to bas ek galti thi jo peecha hi nahi chhod rahi.

She said trying to clean it again while AJ's heart was piercing as of it wasn't said by AK but Guddan to him.

AK: And Mr. Joshi, what's your pay?

Mr. Joshi: Excuse me, what?

AK: Aapko ek baar me kuchh samajh nahi aati kya? I asked how much is your fees for one appearance?

Mr. Joshi: It's just....

AK: Ok, whatever it is, I will pay you double the amount....

Mr. Joshi: Arey ham aise hi case jeet jaayenge. This is not needed at all... and AJ ko to mai bohot achhe se jaanta hun.. in sab ki zaroorat nahi hai..

AK: Pehle meri poori baat to sun lijiye. I will pay you double the amount and you have to lose the case.

Mr. Joshi: What? But why? AK...

AK: What's wrong in that? Jis tarah sab aapko baat karne ke liye pay karte hai usi tarah mai aapko baat nahi karne ke liye pay karungi jo ki comparitively bohot easy task hai. Ise karne me to aapko koi problem nahi honi chahiye.

Mr. Joshi: But AK, aisa koi case nahi jise aaj tak maine jeeta nahi hai aur aap...

AK: Dekhiye, aapki client hone ke naate maine aapko aapka kaam bata diya, agar aap karna chahte hai to theek hai nahi to phir aap ja sakte hai. Waise bhi muft me paise kamane walon ki kami nahi hai is duniya me, koi bhi mil hi jayega mujhe.

Mr. Joshi: AJ, I am sorry, mai aapke kehne par is case ko ladne ke liye taiyar ho gaya tha but if this is what she expects me to do then I can't. Meri reputation aisi hi nahi bani hai, maine mehnat ki hai iske liye aur ab aise hi mai use waste nahi kar sakta.

AJ: I understand your concern, Mr. Joshi. Aur ye case aap hi ladenge wo bhi jaisa aap chahte hai....

AK: Aise kaise...

AJ: Do minute chup baitho tum. Mr. Joshi, mai baaki ki baat aap se baad me karunga.

He left the house initiating a staring competition between AJ and AK.

AK: Agar aapka ye mel milaap ka session ho gaya ho to chalein, mujhe aapse important baat karni hai.

Shrestha: Aise kaise Di ne galti kaha use? Galti hai wo? Jiju se shaadi hona galti thi unki? Kabhi kabhi to man karta hai seedha jaakar Jiju ko sab sach bata dun, kab tak ye sab hote rahega.

She took out her frustration on AK's words as she heard the both talking.

Revati: Baat ye nahi hai. Di ne bas aise hi keh diya hoga....

Shrestha: Haan, haan aap to unki hi tarafdaari karengi na. Mai to jaa rahi hun abhi Jiju se baat karne....

Revati: Arey ruko, kahin nahi jaogi tum. Chup chap yahaan baithi raho.

Shrestha: Mai nahi chup chap baithne wali. Aapko kya lagta hai mai yahaan chup chap baith kar jo ho raha hai wo dekhne aayi hun. Nahi, aise hi baith kar dekhte rahi na to ye donon milne se rahe.

Revati: Mai maanti hun ki aise baithe rehne se kuchh nahi hoga lekin iska matlab ye nahi hai ki ham jaa kar sab kuchh bata dein.

Shrestha: Kyun nahi bata sakte? Aapki jagah mai rehti na to ab tak Jiju ko sab sach pata hota. Aap hai ki Di ki baaton me aakar kisi ko kuchh bata nahi rahi hai.

Revati: Ha nahi bataya maine kisi ko kuchh. Kabhi kabhi mai bhi chahti hun ki sab ko sach bata dun lekin nahi kar sakti mai aisa. Di ne itne saal se itna sab kuchh bardaasht kiya, pata nahi kya kya kiya unhone, to uske peeche kuchh to wajah hogi na. Aur mai aise hi sab bata kar unki mehnat ko, unki takleef ko aise waste nahi kar sakti. Agar unhone Jiju se kuchh chhupaya hai to wo batana bhi unka hi haq hai. Hamara unse aise kehna sahi nahi hoga.

Shrestha: Achha thik hai nahi bataungi. Bekaar me baitha kar itna bada lecture suna diya. Huh!

Revati: Nautanki ho ek number ki! Ab muh phula kar mat baitho aur chalo. Apna kaam bhool gayi kya?

She reminded her of the important work she had making a smirk appear on her face. It was the time she has awaited for.

Saraswati: Mai jaanti thi, ye to Jindal khaandan ke history me tha hi nahi. Aaj tak maine is ghar me 1760 parties dekhe honge lekin aaj tak aisa koi bhi, koi bhi party nahi tha jisme koi na koi tamasha nahi hua hai, aur us din ki party me mai soch hi rahi thi ki koi tamasha hua kyun nahi, dekha, us din na sahi, party ke baad ho gaya. Ek dam perfect drama tha, kami thi to bas popcorn ki.

Antara: Apna ye bakwaas band karo, aur apna phone do mujhe. Aayi bada drama!!!

She yelled at her as she was frustrated listening to her rants about the whole fiasco that was happening since the past 2-3 days.

Saraswati: Arey Antara ji, mera phone, phone, wo to... arey uski to battery dead ho gayi. Maine abhi use charge par lagaya hai.

Antara: Ha to le kar aao na. Ab mai kya tumhari aarti utaar kar kahungi tab laaogi.

Saraswati: Nahi nahi Antara ji, baat wo nahi hai. Wo kya hai na abhi Rahul ji ka phone aayega, isiliye. Thik hai mai chalti hun, wo call karte hi honge.

She sprinted out of the room excusing herself. The family members were strictly allowed not to let Antara use any of their devices as she wasn't having one. And Saraswati better knew that helping Antara in this case was nothing but hitting her own leg.

Antara exited her room to look after an other way to get her work done.

AJ: Tum mujhe mere hi room me kyun le kar aayi ho. Baahar bhi to baat ho sakti thi na.

AK: Haan to baat mujhe karni hai to mai decide karungi ki hame baat kahaan karna hai.

AJ: Dekho.... tumse behes karna hi bekaar hai. Ab batao kya baat hai?

AK: Mujhe aapki help chahiye.

AJ: Kya kaha tumne?

He asked not believing his own ears after hearing her words.

AK: Aapko mera ek kaam karna hoga.

She changed her words realising how he was acting listening to her.

AJ: Aur tumhe kyun lagta hai ki mai tumhara kaam karunga?

AK: Kyun? Nahi karenge?

AJ: Nahi.

AK: Nahi karenge?

AJ: Nahi.

AK: Last baar pooch rahi hun, Nahi karenge?

AJ: Aur mai bhi last time keh raha hun ki mai nahi karunga.

AK: Hmm, last time hi hoga kyunki iske baad aap haan jo karne wale hai.

Before he could understand the meaning behind her words, the duvet on his bed was misplaced. The pillows that were peacefully laying on the bed were now kissing the floor. The clothes in his wardrobe that were neatly organised was all messed up even after numerous attempts of him to stop her.

AK: Ab boliye ki aapko hamara kaam nahi karna.

AJ: Kya hai ye? Mera poora room bikher kar rakh diya tumne.

AK: Aap mera kaam kar dijiye, mai ye sab nahi karungi.

She said taking all the books and files from the table and messing it up on the bed.

AJ: Achha thik hai karunga, ye sab karna band karo tum.

AK: Aa gaye na line par. Yehi pehle keh dete to ye sab nahi hota na.

AJ: Batao karna kya hai?

AK: Mujhe is ghar ki CCTV footage chahiye.

AJ: Ha, to wo security guard se keh kar le leti na, mere kamre ki ye haalat karne ki zaroorat nahi thi.

AK: Mujhe ghar ke baahar ki nahi, ghar ke andar ki footage chahiye.

AJ: Are you out of your mind? Ghar ke andar CCTV cameras koun lagata hai?

AK: Dekhiye mujhse kuchh bhi chhupane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Mai jaanti hun ki ghar ke har taraf CCTV cameras hai, ofcourse rooms ko chhod kar.

AJ: Tumhe kaise pata chala?

He asked doubting her because no one other than him and Guddan knew that they have installed cameras all around the house except for the rooms.

AK: Wo sab baad me, abhi mujhe urgently recording chahiye. Kal se lekar ab tak ki.

AJ: Pehle tum batao ki tumhe ye kaise pata chala, tab tumhe recording milegi.

AK: Aap mujhe de rahe hai ya mai khud aapka laptop dhundna shuru karun. Phir to aap achhe se jaanti hai ki kya hoga.

AJ: Tum.....

AK: Aap de rahe hai ya nahi?

He brought his laptop and opened the recording files infront of her. Before she could play anyone of the recordings, she noticed someone eavesdropping them. So she immediately transferred all the files into a pendrive she brought along with her.

AK: Kya haan aap? Mujhe kya timepass samajh kar rakha hai? Jab jhagda karne ka man kiya to mujhe bula liya. Muft ki entertainment hun kya mai?

His eyes widened listening to her accusations on him. One moment, there she was asking for his help, the other, she ordered him to work for her and here, instead of thanking, she is accusing him as his reward.

He parted his lips to say something but she placed her finger on his lips and looked in the direction where she could spot a shadow that she very well recognised whom did it belonged to.

He understood that she was just trying to kill the time till all the files are transferred and stay in there without letting the others doubt regarding it.

He too joined with her in the bickering and they argued on anything and everything they knew about. After the completion of her task, she concluded their fight blaming him for what not and exited the room leaving him perplexed on her behaviour.

She faced the person who was standing outside the room and as per her expetations, it was none other than Antara. She looked stunned on how she knew that she was there all the while standing here listening to them.

AK: Kya kar rahi thi tum yahaan?

Antara: Tum se matlab? Mai yahaan apne pati ke room aayi hun. Aur waise bhi mujhe tumse poochna chahiye tha ki tum mere pati ke room me itne der se kya kar rahi thi? Kahin aisa to nahi ki mere pati ko apne jaal me phasana chah rahi ho tum? Tumhara asli chehra pehchaan liya hai maine....

Her words were interrupted by AK's laugh, to be more precise evil laugh.

AK: Tumhe sach me lagta hai ki tumne mera asli chehra pehchan liya hai? Na, bilkul nahi! Kyunki jis din tumne mera asli chehra dekh liya na, us din tumhare pairon talon se zameen khisak jaayegi. 

She said to her pulling off the carpet from beneath her feet making her stumble. Luckily, she steadied herself before falling. 

AK: Aaj nahi giri tum, lekin wo din jald aane wala hai jis din tum apne muh ke bal girogi aur tumhe sambhalne ya uthane wala bhi koi nahi hoga. 

She left from there leaving Antara to ponder over her words.

"1,2,3 and *splash*" 

The entire bucket was emptied on him and the people who were present there broke into fits of laughter. AK entered there and became a witness of the scene and laughed out unable to control her laughter. 

Karan A: Kya hai ye? 

He irritatedly yelled removing the thick layer of coating from above his eyes.

Shrestha: Wo kya hai na, bohot akad hai tum me, to maine socha is Ambuja cement ke wajah se tum thode baahar se bhi akad jaaoge, tab jaa kar shayad andar ki akad kam ho jaaye tumhari. 

Karan A: Mazaak lagta hai tumhe ye sab? Ye kya haalat kar di hai tumne?

Shrestha: Tit for Tat! Revenge completed! Ab tum mere saamne tab hi aana jab tumhari ye saari akad is Ambuja cement ke saath dhul jaaye. Chalo, Revati Di! 

She left along with Revati. They were at the place where Ahaana was staying since she has come to Indore. Shrestha arrived there with Revati knowing very well that he would definitely be coming here and she would complete the pending revenge. AK, as usual was there to spend the entire night with Ahaana. 

After realising that it was already time for AK to arrive as she has been doing since the past few days, Ahaana rushed out of the room only to scream seeing the person infront of him. AK immediately headed towards her, assuring her that she was safe with her mother. 

Ahaana: Koun hai ye? 

She asked moving closer holding AK's hand tightly. The figure seemed very similiar to her. 

Ahaana: Karan uncle, aap?

She exclaimed shockingly as she recognised seeing him closer. She immediately went to the room next by and cleaned his face with the towel she brought along with her. 

Ahaana: Karan uncle, aap jaa kar naha lijiye. Aap aise bilkul bhi achhe nahi lag rahe.

Karan A: Chalo, koi to hai jise meri parwaah hai. Baaki sab ko to bas tamaasha dekhna hai.

After a short staring competition between AK and Karan, he left to the washroom to clean up himself.

NEXT DAY,

As soon as AK received the list of events that would be happening in the next few days, she was going through it. 

AK: Ek event to aaj hi hai, ye to shayad kisi politician ke bete ka 18 birthday hai. Matlab kisi bhi tarah aaj hi is aadmi ko pakadna padega. 

She was about to contact Kunal to discuss regarding it but she saw the pictures and stories he has posted on his social media. He was enjoying with his family after a long time.  He always used to be busy with his work or her case. And now when he was spending some quality time she cannot be that cruel to snatch it from him. Thinking about some other ways, she remembered whom to approach. 

AJ'S ROOM,

AJ: Tum achhe se jaanti ho, mai ye sab nahi kar sakta phir bhi tum mujhe force kyun kar rahi ho?

AK: Kyunki mai chahti hun ki ye aap hi karein.

AJ: Dekho, ye sab mujhse nahi hoga. Jaa kar apne us hero Karan se kaho. Aise to tum donon naatak karte hi ho ab bhi kar lena, kounsa farak padta hai.

AK: Teen baatein aap achhe se sun lijiye. Pehli baat jo ki mai hazaar baar aapko already samjha chuki hun, wo mera co-actor hai, hero nahi. Aur doosri, agar mai uski help le sakti to mai aapko help karne ke liye thodi na kehti. Aur teesri mai to kehti nahi lekin kehna pad raha hai, please help kar dijiye na. Promise, aapko aage kabhi pareshaan nahi karungi, Please.

AJ: Kyun? Don't you trust him?

AK: I trust him but I can't rely on him like I could do on you even though I don't trust you anymore.

Her reply left him astounded. He didn't know whether he should be happy knowing she could rely on him or sulk on the fact that she doesn't trust him.

AJ: Jo bhi ho mai kuchh nahi karne wala.

AK: Ek baar bas madad kar dijiye, please!

AJ: Kaha na nahi matlab nahi. Baat samajh nahi aati hai kya tumhe? 

He said throwing it on the floor making her hopes shatter as well.

AK: Ek chhoti si help hi to karne ko kaha tha na maine, kounsa aapki jaan dene ko kaha hai. Khair, galti to meri hi thi, mujhe hi aapke paas is ummeed ke saath nahi aana chahiye tha ki aap meri kuchh bhi help karenge. Sorry, aapka itna time waste karne ke liye. 

She left his room wondering if she could do this task alone. She somehow needed to get hold of the culprit and end the case as soon as possible.
