Chapter 5: School

Lizzie didn't bother to look at the other students while walking down the halls. She just looked down at her worn shoes. Most of the other kids glanced at her with odd stares but Alestor walked over with a big stupid grin.

"Hiya Liz!" He remarks still smiling.

"Lizzie." She corrects. Her voice less cold than last time they spoke. e.

He nods, "Right, sorry about that."

Starium looks at me with a devious smile and I keep close to Lizzie to avoid him.

"So what are you doing this weekend?" asks Alestor.

"I don't know, probably playing video games...why?" she responds cocking her eyebrow.

He suddenly gets super flustered, "N-No reason!"

Starium rolls his eyes, "Come on kid....nows not the time for hormones...stupid human..." he growls.
I giggle and cross my arms.

"Shut up you stupid angel!" he waves his hand causing a girl to run into Alestor.

"A-ah i'm so so so sorry!" she apologizes grabbing her papers.

He smiles and rubs the back of his neck, "Ah its fine."

Lizzie just stares at the two.

"I'm Alessa" she smiles sticking her hand out. He takes it,

"Alestor, and this is Lizzie."

He points to the confused girl the bell interrupts the meet and greet. They wave goodbye and head to their respective classes.

At lunch Alessa follows Alestor and Lizzie around like a lost puppy. Alestor doesn't mind having a nice conversation with her but I could sense jealousy in Lizzie.

I could tell something bad was going to happen.....
