Rajveer sat down on the bed as they entered their room, Naina nudged him. 

"aise kyun le aaye mujhe, khud toh aache se baatein kar li mujhe bhi karni thi baat. Itne din ho gaye hai" Naina spoke, making faces 

Rajveer looked up at her "aisa kuch nahi hai jaisa tum soch rahi ho. Meri koi baat nahi hui uss se, wo so rahi thi jab mei gaya. Nind mei usne haath pakad liya toh main wahan baith gaya fir kab aankh laag gayi pata hi nahi chala" he lied to her for he don't want her to get worried knowing her condition 

Naina's face fell hearing him, he patted her cheek and left for the washroom.

Anamika's room. 

She was still lying on the bed lost in her pool of thoughts. She was having a feeling that whatever she's doing is not good, she's hurting her parents but at the same time she feels that they are also wrong. She sighed, and closed her eyes to stop such thoughts bubbling in her head. 

She opened her eyes when the ring of her phone hit her ear drums, she stretched her arm and pulled her phone from the side table. It was Vineet calling her, she attached the phone to her ear 

"Hmmm" she said lazily 

"are you still sleeping" he asked 

"hmm, headache ho rahe hai" She replied briefly 

"what? Medicine li?" he question worriedly 

"nahi, aab lungi. Aacha listen, Prashant ko bolna mujhe call kare abhi. Two weeks se gayab hai wo, marks lene ke time toh kud kud ke aayega abhi ghar pe baitha hai" She spoke in frustration 

"uske father ki tabiyat thik nahi hai, call aaya tha kal uska. Wo nahi aayega" Vineet said, Anamika sighed 

"thik hai fir. Main jaati hoon, time ho gaya check up ka. Tum time pe aa jana" she said 

"Arey rest karlo na aaj, tabiyat thik nahi hai na tumhari. Kal chalrnge college" he said in concerned 

"No no, mujhe nahi rehna ghar pe. Just be on time" saying so, she disconnected the call and descended down the bed. She marched towards the washroom weakly. She takes a shower, dresses up and leaves her room. She marched in Raina's room, as she entered she found Naina sitting on the bed while Rajveer was getting ready. She marched marched towards the bed but fall down on the bed with a thud, Rajveer instantly turn towards her, Naina was surprised as well 

"You okay," Naina asked, Anamika shook her head affirmatively and did her check up somehow. Rajveer was constantly staring at Anamika, her hand was trembling while noting down the result. 

Anamika didn't spend much time checking as she felt her knees getting weak and goosebumps arising in her body, she finished up the check up in a fast pace mode and ran to her room. 

Naina was totally confused by her behaviour "isko kya hua" she asked looking at Rajveer.. 

He glanced at her "kya jaane, tum maat socho jyada.. Main dekhta hoon" saying so, he moved out of the room and directly headed towards her room. He tried to open the door but found it locked from inside.. 

"isne room kyun band kar diya" he thought but knocked on the door. Anamika didn't open the door either. She replied this tensed Rajveer. He called Vineet and asked him to come as soon as possible. 

Hearing, Rajveer tensed voice Vineet rushed to Shekhawat Mension and reached there in 30 minutes. As he entered the house, he found Rajveer passing in the hall.. He rushed to him, Rajveer looked at him.. 

"Vineet dekh, usne khudko room mei band kar rakha hai.. Kal Raat se uski tabiyat thik nahi hai.. Tum Jaake dekho ek baar, wo meri nahi sunegi abhi.. Tum jao" Rajveer requested, tension lines were clearly visible in his head.. 

Vineet nodded his head affirmatively and ran towards her room, he knocked on the door 3 - 4 times and later called out her name. Anamika opened the door after 10 minutes and let him enter.. Rajveer, who was in the hall waiting for her to open the door, sighed in relief.. 

… 

Vineet cupped her face "hey, kya hua tumhe" he asked in concerned 

Anamika shook her head negatively "kuch nahi bas thoda headache ho raha tha, abhi medicine li meine. I'm fine" she spoke patting his cheek and moved to her bed, she collected her bag and turned to him.. 

"chalo let's go, report bhi submit karni hai aaj doctor ko" she exclaims 

"kya zaroorat hai, kal kar dena submit" he tried to convince her 

"Arey nahi, report ready hai toh kar dena hi aacha hai.. Chalo.. Tumhare birthday ke liye gift bhi toh sochna hai mujhe fir" she spoke and dragged him out of the room, Rajveer watched them leaving the house. Vineet assured him that he'll take care of her, he smiled lightly. 

It was then when Rajveer saw Naina coming out of their room. He smiled at her, she reciprocated with the same manner. Rajveer marched towards her while she stepped down the stairs smiling placing her hand on her belly. Rajveer stopped at the last step waiting for her. Naina descended down the fourth step but the next moment Rajveer was left shocked, his facial expression changed to horrified. As Naina's leg slipped, her body jerk, Rajveer ran upstairs. Naina fell, a scream let out her mouth, luckily Rajveer caught her in time. 

"Naina, are you okay." Rajveer asked in concerned making her stand 

She shook her head affirmatively, Rajveer shouted for the maid who came there running. Rajveer burst over her. 

"kya hai ye haan, tumse dhang se kaam nahi hota.. Aise kaam karti ho tum, abhi kuch ho jaata toh" she shouted, pointing to the oil falling on the stairs.. 

"Ye Anu baby ne kiya hai Sir, meine nahi" lily (their maid) exclaims, Rajveer lost his peace of mind with this. He's already angry with her because of one of her previous actions and now this is something unbearable for him. 

His trance was broken by Naina's voice, who started to scream in pain holding her stomach. Rajveer picked her in his arms and ran out of the house..
