Chapter Four

Harry

Harry was shocked. That boy had single-handily taken on a monster, defeated him, and was still alive after being stabbed in the stomach.

The new boy that had come was staring at Percy in concern. He wore some sort of cap over his curly brown hair and he had a wisp of a beard on his chin. His eyes were a brown color, yet something seemed different about him than the other teenagers.

"We'll explain later," Professor McGonagall said in answer to Harry's previous question. "We must tend to this boy," she continued gesturing to the boy named Percy who had passed out. The blonde-haired boy took him from the blonde-haired girl and easily swung him over his shoulder.

"If you know Chiron," the blonde-haired girl said, "you must know who we are."

"Yes," Professor McGonagall replied.

"Then you must have some nectar and ambrosia," the girl continued.

What's nectar and ambrosia? Harry thought curiously.

"You are fortunate," Professor McGonagall replied. "I do. Take my arm, we will apparate back to the castle, it will be quicker."

The teenagers looked confused but one look from the blonde-haired girl had them gripping each other's arm while she held Professor McGonagall's arm. Before they apparated away, Professor McGonagall turned to Hagrid and said, "Your class is over, send these five to my office." Hagrid just nodded in response.

"You haven't told all of us your names!" Harry blurted out.

"Later," Professor McGonagall said. And then they were gone. The five children-Harry, Hermione, Ron, Neville, and Ginny-all dashed to the Professor's office as fast as their legs allowed them to.

When they finally barged into the office, they were surprised to see all of the teenagers sitting calmly around the office while talking. Harry was even more surprised to see Percy already up and talking with Professor McGonagall. They stood in front of some sort of mist where the old man from before was standing. Finally getting a closer look, Harry saw that the old man they called Chiron was a centaur, but he looked nothing like the centaurs Harry knew.

"Ah," Professor McGonagall said. "You're here."

"Yes," Harry said.

"I guess we should introduce ourselves since last time we got interrupted," Percy said with a grin.

Harry said nothing, but gestured for him to continue.

"Well, I am Percy Jackson," Percy said and then groaned when the blonde girl elbowed him in the stomach. "Fine! My name is Perseus Jackson, but don't call me that. Ever."

"This here is my girlfriend, Annabeth," Percy said pointing to the blonde girl. He pointed to each person as he continued. The blonde boy was Jason Grace, the brown-haired girl was Piper McLean, the boy with the cap on was Grover, the boy with black clothes was Nico, the girl with frizzy brown hair was Hazel Levesque, the baby-faced boy was Frank Zhang, the boy with curly hair and a mischievous grin was Leo Valdez, and the spiky black-haired girl was Thalia Grace-Jason's sister.

After introductions, Percy turned to the centaur and asked, "Can we tell them?"

Instead of him answering, Professor McGonagall replied for him. "Yes, and we will tell you afterwards."

"Okay," Percy said. "How much do you guys know about Greek and Roman mythology?"
