"They were each other's second chance"

Lily Marie Jones is a midwife she moved to Poplar after accepting a midwife job, but also for a second chance after loosing her husband the only family she had left. She knew that Poplar would be a huge change for her but it wasn't much different to where she was born a town full of families but just as poor when it came to money but filled with love. Lily eventually begins to feel like home and finding the family she needed but there was always something missing.

Love, but when she meets Patrick Turner a widow who is also the local doctor, she begins to fall in love with him because they bonded over the loss of there wife and husband and living with the grief ever since but falling in love again scares her especially when Dr Turner tells her he feels the same.
