Zelda POV
Midnight already! Oh my Lord, I pray you where's my daughter? Where is she! I was so tensed and panic took over me...what should I do, Lord? My daughter...she hasn't come back yet and at this hour, where should I search for her. I have no one to confine myself in. Should I just go to the police station! In the short-run, an idea came across my mind, I decided to call Anna, Sarah's friend, who worked together with her. I dialled the number and hopefully it was ringing.

Zelda: Hello !Anna?

Anna: Hello. Yes?

Zelda: Anna dear, it's Sarah's mother speaking . Well...I wanted to ask if Sarah's with you?

Anna: No aunty. Sarah didn't come to work today. Actually she was nowhere to be seen since the morning. I thought she was sick or something. Why aunty? What's the matter? Sarah is not at home?

Zelda: WHAT DEAR! *CRIES*
Sarah has left home since...this...m...m..mor...ning... and ....she....ha...ha...hasn't...co...come...back....yet.... *CRIES*

Anna : Oh my God! Aunty just get a hold of yourself. I'm sure she must be fine. But it's too late, I think we just should inform the police right now!

Zelda : Yes Anna, you're right.

Anna : And please if you have any news or if Sarah is back home, inform me Aunty.

Zelda : Sure. I will hang up for now.

I hung the phone and and called the police when suddenly I heard a knock at the door.

"It must be Sarah", my instinct could feel it.

I rushed to open the door and I felt petrified upon seeing Sarah. Injured. Unconscious. In a man's arm. Without any explanation, he went straight to my room and put Sarah on the bed.

"Who are you!! And what happened to Sarah! Who did this to her", I asked in panic.

"I'm Sarah's boss and she was kidnapped by a guy called Roberto", he replied.

"What! Roberto and kidnap!!! You're lying, I know Roberto and he would never do such a thing! What have you done to my child", I queried in cries.

He ignored my words and took out his phone.

Atkinson POV
I was tense for Sarah. She has endure a lot of physical pain. I brought her to her home and laid her in bed. Her mother was pretty worried about her too. I took out my phone and called the doctor. After a few minutes, he arrived and examined Sarah. He kept doing it on and on and I was losing all my patience, I just wanted to know what whether she was fine or not. That's all!

"What the!", I yelled.

"You've been examinating her time and time again!!! Haven't you know what has happened to her yet!!?", I told to the doctor exasperatedly.

"Mr. Rhodes, please be patient. I'm trying my best. We'll have to transport her to the hospital immediately. She has been physically abuse and she has suffer uncountless injuries.", said the doctor.

My heart raced as those words clashed into my ears. For once in life, I felt helpless. How could this blood piece of sh*t do this my Sarah?

Wait...

To my Sarah...

What's happening to me...

I couldn't bear to see...her...in any type of agony. Darn it! I hate seeing her in tears...and now that...she was wounded and suffered...it was affecting me...it was percing my soul...why am I so protective when it comes to her...why to do feel like I'm almost dying, that someone is taking away my life...seeing her in this state...why...why do I feel that I want her...why do I feel jealous when some other man touches even a small inch of her...why...

"Alright but nothing should happen to her. She should be fine. This is my command and you are well-aware what happen to those who disobey me. She should have the best treatment by the best doct-" I said interrupted which I usually don't tolerate.

"Mr. Rhodes we don't have enough time. Please try to understand, call the the ambulance quickly!", retorted the doctor.

I called up the ambulance and left for the hospital in a rush. Once there I had to fill up all the formalities and at one point, the form ask for my relationship between me and the patient. Something triggered me and I put "husband".

I was surprised by my own weird behaviour.

Zelda POV
I couldn't speak out what I was feeling. Despair? Destroyed? Helpless? Shattered? On seeing the condition of Sarah. Life has always been harsh on her. Since she was a baby, her parents died. She had to be fine,come hell or high water. She was a strong woman and passed every single trial till now. This was nothing compared to the past obstacles she went through. She could be portrayed as a role model of a woman,she was simply sweet and delicate in everything life gave her;whether pain and most of the time a little happiness.

I wished for her quick recovery and I made prayers to God to help her in those trials...

3 days later. . .

Atkinson POV
Hopefully Sarah was a lot better and she was fit again. I hid myself behind the door and glared at her. She was looking beautiful. Her wounds on her soft fragile skin were instantly curing. There was her mother who was feeding her and it was just a feeling of catharsis as I remembered my mom at this point. Nevertheless, I could see fear on the face. Maybe she was feeling insecure because of Roberto and I had to do something about it because one thing was certain that he would try to harm her again. I would seek the best of the best lawyers of this country to put him behind the bars. I will definitely succeed. After all, I'm know for my invincibility.
