I walked to the dining table and started breaking the crockery placed there. Anger overpowering me. I hate her tears and she is crying sitting in there where I can't even go.

I'm not a child.

How could she say like that? Once she only told me that she's like my child... And today? What does she even want? I know that's all because of her hormones but at least she should think before yelling at me. I too can get hurt if she could get.

The hell with those hormones of hers.

We just came here and she's acting like this. What will happen when she will have to live alone here most of the time? Ugh! That's why I didn't want to come here.

"What happened, sir?" Khanna entered and I looked behind.

"Nothing. Just get this mess cleaned up and then come to my car." I ordered him and went to my car.

I had to go to the office here and now she's angry, how will I leave her?

I got seated in my car and pushing the seat little back laid on it. I closed my eyes to relax my mind and think about something to get out of this mess.

You have hurt me Shivaay... I feel like I'm some handicapped person. Who needs someone always beside her. Do I really need that much support? Do you get it what it feels like to be completely dependent on someone?

I opened my eyes as her words registered in my mind. JESUS! OVERPROTECTIVE ME!

I never realized that I've put so many restrictions on her that she is feeling like this. I should've heard her calmly.

Holy crap!!!! I've hurt so much. It's my overprotectiveness only that she gets herself into trouble. OH GOD! Why didn't I realize it before? Shit!!! How will I solve it now? I banged my hand on the steering.

"Sir..." Khanna knocked on the door and I nodded to him and he got in the car.

"Khanna... I asked you to take a look at the safeness of this house. Did you check that?" I asked.

After buying this house I asked him to check how safe is this house.

"Yes, It's completely safe. It's a little far from the main city so It's safe and with security, It's completely safe." He informed me and I nodded.

"And how good the security will be?" I asked looking into his eyes.

"Sir, It's India's best security batch. They've been trained in the military school and some are military persons themselves. Above that, there are 3 batches so they don't have any excuses for less rest. Also, there are CCTV's all around and 3 CCTV at one place. There's no loophole in this." He explained to me and I slightly smiled.

"Good. You'll always stay in the house. I don't want to take any risk of her." I told him.

"No. Sir whole security force is for her safety. I will be with you." He resisted and I smiled.

"I'm safe. She's not. Be around her when I'm not. I want to buy 2 Guns. So arrange them, legally." I asked him and got out of the car. I need to tell her that I'm going to the office.

I walked In and knocked on the door and there was no response.

Maybe she fell asleep.

"Anika. I know you are angry that's why not responding. I've to go to the office so I can stay with you for some days without any tension. I'm leaving, don't be tensed and there are maids and security for you. I'll be back soon. Love you." I said and walked out. I think she must've listened to me.

I ignite the car and drove off without any security. The office was not any near and that was a long drive. I have decided it before only that I'll do most of my work from the home and will not go the office much. I picked up my cell phone and called home.

"Hello, jiju." Gauri cheerfully responded and I smiled.

"I'm fine. How's everyone there?" I asked and she smiled.

"Everything is good and fine. How was your journey?"

"Journey was good and we have reached safely. Gauri... I have a problem which only you can solve. Will you help me?" I asked biting my lips.

This all is not my cup of tea, taking help or asking but you know Mrs. can make it your cup of tea, anyways.

"Yes... Is everything alright there? Did you upset Anika?" She asked.

Anika and her monkey both are Astrologers. They know everything already!
"Yes, I did. We both were mad and angry so argued and she ended up locking herself in the room and is very angry with me. I realized my part and want to apologize. Can you tell me what should I bring for her to make up her mood? The things which I know, I've fed her." I explained and she chuckled.

"Well, It's your bad luck as those are the only things she liked. She never roamed around a lot in her life so she most likely doesn't know many things. You can try anything which you feel, she will like. I know you can do this as you know her more than me. Best of luck. Bye." She freaking dropped the call!!!! Hell!
I threw away my mobile on the passenger seat and drove to my office. Greeting everyone I got the files and equipment I asked them to arrange and left to meet MISHRA.

I reached his house and he welcomes me with espresso.

"Sir, I was waiting for you only. I wanted to inform you this before too but I thought not to disturb you." He started and I nodded.

"I was attacked." He uttered those words and I shot up my head to look at him. That's when I realized the stitch mark on his head.

"Who? When and why attacked you?" I asked.

"It's been a month. I was attacked by raichands. I didn't inform you as you would've stressed yourself more."

"More? Who told you I'm stressed.?" I asked shocked.

"I called in your office and your secretary picked up the call and told me not to tell you anything as you're already tensed."

"What was her name?"

"Riya I guess. I don't remember but it was maybe Riya."

"Okay. Maybe... Well, what happened next?" I asked and he handed me the papers.

"We've been sued for the fraud now, I filed the complaint and the rowdy who attacked me was arrested and not the mains. Later we were sued for not investing in their company as promised in the contract. I talked with the lawyer and he asked me not to disturb you and he'll handle this matter." He revealed and I shook my head in disbelief.

"I don't believe that you're so DUMB, Mishra. I'm the owner of all these stuff and you guys thought not to tell me that my Indian branch is in trouble? Are my employees in danger? Why? I understand the attack matter but this sued one is not a small issue! That's what I have to do, manage my business. I won't be troubled by this and even not by the matter of attack. What if those persons are also involved with raichands and we lose everything? Mishra, I trust you and that's why I've hired you and you've done such a huge mistake. Well, I'll look into it now don't repeat it and feel free to contact me on my number anytime. DON'T TRUST ANYONE. THANK YOU." I smiled and walked out where's he smiled back as I don't usually thank them.

I looked at the papers and contacted my lawyer who was handling this case.

"I want all the papers. You know you're not hired for such cases. Send Mishra the papers. You'll get an amount for the work you've done for this case." I said and dropped the call.

I've another lawyer whom I can trust blindly and he does magic and can solve any problem. I messaged him and asked him to call Khanna and he'll pick him up.

I drove to the gift shop and got some gifts for anika and and then some flowers and then some cakes and Ice-creams.

Finally, All the work is done and let's head back to meet my mrs.

I smiled and drove back. It became more long with the eagerness of meeting anika. Finally, I reached the home and parking the car I picked up all the stuff I bought for her and rushed in. I arranged everything in the room which is ours and walked down.

I breathed in and out and knocked on the door. As soon as I knocked I hear her trembling voice "O-OPEN THE DOOR." She spoke and I tried it but it was locked from the inside.

"A-Anika I can't. It's locked from inside." I told her and she cried.

"I-It's jammed. Pl-please opens it." She pleaded and I called Khanna and we both together broke the door of our new house!
I twitched seeing Anika. She was a crying mess. I moved to her and she hugged me immediately.

"Why you left me here." She cried hugging me. My heart pricked and tears rolled down my eyes. I regretted everything.

I couldn't meet her eyes. I picked her up and took her to our room. She didn't stop crying and wasn't leaving me. She buried her head in my chest and wrapped her arms around me.

"I know I said a lot but I didn't do something that you left me in the room alone." She hitched for breath.

"I..." I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't utter even a word looking at her.

"I hate you for doing this to me. I was so scared you know... there was no light in that room" She looked at me and I looked into her eyes. She was really scared. She was scared of the darkness. I hugged her tightly and kissed her face.

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry." I cried kissing her face again and again.

"I never thought it'll turn out to be like this. I thought you were not responding to the knocks as you're mad at me. I didn't know you were really sleeping. I went to the office and told you too. But... It's my mistake. I shouldn't have left you alone." I hugged her again.

"I knocked on the door and called for help but there was no response and even my things were outside and I couldn't even call you." She became normal little and I kissed her again.

"I'm sorry Anika..." I held her hands and she nodded looking at me.

"This is for me?" She asked looking at the things I arranged for her.

"Yes. I realized my mistake. I'm sorry. I became overprotective and didn't even thought what you'd be feeling. I'm sorry for everything. I never cared for you really I guess. I will be much careful from now. You can do whatever you want and not even tell me. You can call me when you need me and then I'll help you." I smiled and she smiled back.

"No, You don't need to think that you never cared for me. You did, but little extra. I love you." She kissed me on cheek and I hugged her.

"I'm sorry." "I'm sorry too."

FIGHT IS OVER!

"Anika... I've bought something for you." I told her and she looked up at me and placed the roses back which she was smelling.

"What's that?" She asked all glowing and I smiled.

"Go change your clothes and then we will have dinner and there I'll show you that," I informed her and she immediately went to the washroom. I left the packet in the washroom before only.

"Your dress is in the packet," I informed her and getting her response I rushed down, ANGRILY!

"Khanna!!!!" I called out and he immediately came to me running.

"Yes, sir?"

"Where the hell, was you all? when she was asking for the help?"

"Sir, I was out there where you saw me. I didn't hear any noises so..."

"Where were the maids? Were not they supposed to be with her?" I asked seething.

"NO, You didn't ask them to be with her and they were in their house. You didn't inform us that we need to be inside." He informed me and I Gulped my anger.

OH MAN! IT'S MY MISTAKE.

"Fine. Have you arranged the dinner on the roof?" I asked

"Yes, maids are working on it."

"Okay." I went back and got fresh as she was busy drying her hair.

I changed in comfortable and came out to see her. GOD!

"Beautiful" I walked to her and she Blushika looked down.

"Thank You." She mouthed and I raised her head holding her chin.

"You're looking like an angel Anika." I kissed the side of her lips and she blushed more.

"Let's go." I held her hand and we both walked to the rood where our dinner was arranged.
