~~~Shivaay's POV~~~

I woke up with a jerk hearing her scream. She was sweating as if someone poured a gallon of water on her. She couldn't speak properly for about half an hour. Only 'You'll never leave me' was the phrase she repeated whenever I asked her about the dream. It took me One complete hour to soothe her and calm her.

"Anika, Please tell me na what did you see? I mean..." I was cut by her in the middle as she repeated the line again.

"Please don't ever leave me... I'll die." The last word was the edition.

"Anika.," I shouted and she looked at me. "Don't you dare say like this. I'm not going anywhere leaving you. So now stop fearing." Anika and her fears!

"Shivaay..." Finally, she started crying hugging me. From the past one hour, she didn't really cried but was just scared. I don't want to push her in any mental danger that's why I shouted at her like this because I know this will make her cry and little stress will flow out.

"Anika... Feeling better?" I asked stroking her hair and she nodded.

"Heya! Stop, DON'T CLEAN YOUR NOSE WITH MY DRESS." I acted and she teasingly cleaned her running nose with my shoulder.

This thing is very disgusting but well, It's her who's doing this so...  It's perfectly fine.

She laughed teasing me and it's a relief.

"Are you ready to tell me the dream now?" I asked cupping her face while wiping her tears.

"Yes." She smiled and I hugged her.

"So, The dream was a nightmare. About what?" I asked pulling her in my lap and she hugged me.

"About us. You... My parents..." She started. "I saw my fake family. They were forcefully pushing me in a dark room. And... You were laying outside the door, They were beating you." She stopped and looked at me.

"I wasn't able to see all that shivaay. I felt suffocated. I knew it's going to be over. I knew its a dream but the reason was real." She cupped my face.

"Ssshh... Don't cry and tell me." I wiped her face and she looked into my eyes.

"You know that time when you were making dishes for me. When there was a misunderstanding between us? Umm... When I got my dates first time in Dubai?" She tries reminding me and I chuckled hearing her.

How can I forget that day? That time I hugged her with love and care for the first time...

"I can never forget that day." I smiled.

"Yeah. Do you remember that day my mother called me to tell you not to cancel the deal or else she'll kill you and get me back?" She told me and I looked at her.

"The dream was about that?" I asked and she nodded.

"They kill- Killed you" She shivered in my lap and closed my eyes.

Her fears are becoming mines. How can I forget about that? I didn't even think of that.

"They were telling me...that they told me before only. Now I've to bear it." She held my hand.

"I forgot my real value and they were reminding me that." She sighed.

"You screamed?"

"Yeah. They pushed me and I was pregnant." She pouted sadly and I hugged her with a smile.

I'm scared now. But I can't show her that.

"I know you've managed everything very well. Nobody can even touch us. But still, I was so scared you know." She rested her head on my chest.

"Yeah." I kissed her forehead.

I let her sleep in my lap as she was scared.
But the thing that I forget that call completely stressed me.

Tucking her to the bed I walked down and looked at the security who was awake. Well, Khanna was right the security is very tight nobody will even dare to look here.

But, Where is Khanna?

O! He must be sleeping after all he is just one.

I shook my head and walked toward the study room. I have some files to read and then the case papers before passing it to the main lawyer.

sitting on the chair I opened the file of the case which Raichand filed on our company.

There must be many loopholes here.

They've mentioned that I've taken their something valuable and promised to invest and backed out.

Well, She's worth losing all these companies, Mr raichand!

I threw the file on the table and picked up the other file which was containing the papers of FIR launched by Mishra.

Hmm... He had been attacked by 2 peoples who hit him with a hockey.

I am really proud of my employees they are doing so much for me and the company.

"Shivaay..." I was going through the papers when I heard her voice and turned just to find her standing at the door.

"Anika. You here? Do you need something.?" I asked and she pouted.

"Sorry, But I'm hungry can you please give me some malai kofta?" She asked and I chuckled.

"Yes, sweetheart. I'll bring that for you just wait up." I kissed her and walked to the kitchen.

Ah! All we ate at night.

Let's make some for her.

I started making some for her when she entered with a fearful face. I gulped and shivered to see the file in her hands.

"Anika..." I tried speaking when she cut me in middle.

"I told you they're dangerous. Why don't you listen to me? Give them what they want. Why are you after this little amount?" She hit the file on the slab.

"It's not that easy for me..." I turned and started cooking.

"Shivaay. There's nothing difficult! All you've to do is to let Mishra give them the amount you promised. What's so difficult?" She held my hand.

"Anika... I can't help those who've hurt us. They've hurt you. Those people who ruined your entire life, how can I let them be in peace? I know I'm part of your sufferings but they caused them. I will never be able to forgive myself for what I've done but I won't even let them stay in peace for doing all that to you and naina. My revenge is remaining." I looked at her and she painfully held my shoulder.

"This can put us in danger." she looked at me with moist eyes.

"Anika these are just your fears. Just come out of them. You... You have you seen those security guards? They're for our safety! Just our." I calmly held her hand back.

"Yes I know, I know everything. But they'll not be with us shivaay. Not all the time. You don't know them. They can stoop any low to get what they want." She justified her fears.

"No. It's not like that. Nobody is so powerful in this world. All have weakness so do they. Let's not talk about this. I'll make sure you're safe." I cupped her face and she shook her head.

"You're pacifying me or yourself? I agree these are just my fears but what about yours? Don't you've one? Shivaay... I don't care about myself but I don't want to see even a scratch on you or babies. Let's not get into taking revenge at this moment.? Please?" She pleaded.

She knows very well what I'm doing. She's right I'm just covering up fears in the cover of revenge.

"As you say." I hugged her

"Go up and I'll bring your malai kofta" I sent her and started cooking again.

She's right I should give them the money and they'll never come after us.

But, She doesn't know what they want. They would never leave us as their secret will come out.

Giving them money will make them more dangerous for anika. I will not give them... It's for babies and her. I will not let her know anything and will safeguard her as much as I can.

Even if I've to sacrifice everything. Still, I'll do it

Shrugging off the thoughts I poured the dish in a bowl and went to her.

Did it take me so much time?

She's asleep. I placed the dish on the table and walked to her. Tear stained face.

Damn! She was crying. I covered her with the blanket and took away the frame she was hugging.

I don't know what should I do now.

I feared this only and... Well, I've to wrap up this mess.

I walked down and went to Khanna.  Only he can help me.

He was busy video calling MY FAMILY!

DAMN KHANNA!

"Hello." I interrupted and he smiled cheekily.

"Sir, actually dadi was missing me. Also, she wanted to ask how you both are doing." He stated and I nodded.

"Maa... Daadi... We've some work. You can talk with him later." I waved.

"Shivaay look at the watch. Which work you both have?" Maa asked and I looked at Khanna.

"Actually maa... W... Anika is feeling bored so I thought we three could play some cards or Ludo?" I reasoned and she chuckled.

"You can't even lie. Okay bye. Take care" Dadi laughed and I disconnected the call.

"Sir, what happened?" Khanna asked me and I closes my eyes.

"Khanna... We have a problem. Like, We can be in danger. Suggest me something. Raichand is behind us. What can I do? Like... They want me to invest in the company or they'll kill me. I don't care about myself but I can't take the risk with Anika." I stated and he smiled.

"Sir, You can still see the security and why are you scared? I'm here they can't even touch you. Also, You can just sue them back." Khanna suggested.

"How do you know?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Sir, I'm here only I never left this job. I know everything. You can reveal to the world about their deeds and they'll be arrested. You can even do tests to prove them the culprit and then they'll be behind bars and you can stay freely!" He suggested and I thanked him for the idea.

I made calls to reveal the truth not knowing what storm maybe I'm inviting.
