Ratna Singh Raizada, an undercover cop from Scotland Yard. No one knows that the innocent looking woman is someone who is an undercover cop. Not even her mother knows that. She was an average student in the class. She's rich. Her mother Subhadra Singh Raizada and her Father, Rajveer Singh Raizada were rich and both would handle their Raizada's based business. She has the freedom to educate herself anywhere. In school, even though she was intelligent and could understand almost everything. She understood that's not the right platform for her to implement her intelligence. Thus that made her look just an average student in her school.

She's always about finding her talent to use her intelligence and she has discovered that her talent was in solving mysteries. So, she chose to be a cop, an undercover cop. And for that, with the permission from her parents for higher studies, she left for the UK, at the age of 17 and pursued a bachelors in Arts and Science. At 21, she started working and has worked as a science professor for a year in one of the UK's most reputed schools. All the while getting training for law enforcement, Criminal Justice, privately within her home and also getting trained for Krav Maga, being a student, it was a perk that everyone gets and she used it to her best.

And yes, she changed her name officially to Suzanne, at the end of her bachelor's degree. So, in her university, her name was always Ratna Singh Raizada. By the end of her resignation in the school, it's already been a month she attained British citizenship, and with her new name, she immediately started on her own as a private detective with her new identity, and when she was already 24, she has gained an experience of almost two years, thus, that got her eligibility for applying for an undercover cop in Scotland Yard and she did, thanks to her experience! And from then, she's been Suzanne who was an undercover cop and that got her tangled into a International Mafia case, thus introducing her to a new name, Mallik. He's someone who was invisible yet was there in the air doing his work just like atoms and molecules would do. Noone has ever seen him, including her and the police.

Thanks to her exceptional performance in solving mysteries which actually was the reason that got her a name as an average student in school which drove her to the UK, was actually the reason to throw her back to India. Scotland Yard believed that Mallik was in a part of India and thus they sent Suzanne and some of the best team of undercover cops to India.

So, at 25, she's back to India, after 7 years and as soon as she landed, her mother got her married to Arvind Singhania. She couldn't say no and if she could say, she could only give one excuse and that's her profession. But she can't and she won't. She was then married off to Arvind Singhani, a 29-year-old man, who has impressed her parents very much and has been helping her parents in taking care of their business since she left for the UK. After marriage she paused her profession for a while explaining reasons to her head in Scotland and then concentrated on her marriage. After a while she fell in love with Arvind. He was a gentleman. And after a year, they had a month old Arnav. She was soon busy taking care of her son and Arvind was busy in Raizada's business, since he was a new CEO. She soon started her work again without letting anyone. It's just that it's not fieldwork for her anymore.

Even after 3 years of struggle and hard work, their team wasn't able to locate Mallik and this led to the case being discontinued. And then she was working on an undercover operation for all other Indian cases. And there are not many cases. It wasn't too difficult for her. Everyone in her home thinks that she's been to clubs or parties, yes, she would. But for the namesake, her real work would be something else. She managed her household and profession very well.

And then her father, Rajveer Singh Raizada died of a heart attack one fine morning. Everyone's recovering from the grief and were back to their lives. Everything has been going very well until she gets to know her husband is filing for a divorce as he fell in love with another woman. That was another shock for her. She was 33 and their 8 years of married life ended on that day and a little Arnav Singhania was fatherless suddenly. He cried when they were separated and Arvind Singhania left Raizada's company for another woman. Arnav, who was until then a Singhania, became a Singh Raizada and hated Arvind Singhania to leave them for another woman.

It has been six months since she was divorced when she had to marry someone for her son and her mother, Subadra, who took over their business again, married her off to Karan Mallik thinking at least this would bring happiness in her and her son's life. And that's another mistake of her Mother.

Arnav Singh Raiazda has become Arnav Mallik. He was just a child of 7 and half years old and when he got father, he was happy that he has a father now and he may love him. True! He got love for the next 6 years.

Ratna was always careful of Karan Mallik. She didn't love him. She didn't have any wife-husband relationship with him. If they were together, that's only for Arnav's happiness. And when the time came, his whatever-true-love he showered on Arnav proved fake.

Ratna Singh Raizada developed a doubt on Karan Mallik over the years. Although his behaviour was never suspicious, it's her intuition that always gives her kind of negative vibes around Karan Mallik and it keeps on increasing. Their interest towards each other is almost formal. And soon after, she gets to know some interesting facts about Karan Mallik. And one of them is that he is already married. Her marriage to him was illegal because his legal marriage was with his first wife and before she could confront him and actually file a divorce on that basis, she found herself in a police station.

And that police station is under DCP, Sushmitha Rathode. Mother of Aryan and Adiya Rathode.

"Did you threaten him with these messages?" Sushmitha Rathode asked Ratna Singh Raizda.

"No. Why would I? He's lying," she explains standing in front of DCP Sushmitha Rathode.

"What are these, then?" she asked.

"Send these girls to park along with others, or else I'll have to kill you!" The message read.

"Hand over these packets to XXX college's security guard." Another message read.

And there are several messages related to Drug trafficking, human trafficking, and so on. These messages were all sent to Karan from Ratna's phone. So, she was accused of these crimes and thought to be involved in the Mafia. Only if they knew!

Karan Mallik approached the Police Station and complained about Ratna Singh Raizada. That his wife was aloof with him and from past few weeks, he was getting threatening messages from a private number and on investigating, he got to know that his wife was the one who is sending weird messages all along and also told them she was behaving weirdly these days and he could notice.

True to that, she was behaving a little weird than she already was, afterall, she got to know his true colours, his marriage and that he has a daughter.

Since they were serious crimes, and not just a single crime and all related to trafficking, the CBI was called, and that's the entry of Nandini Kiran Gupta, a 39-year-old woman. A special investigation officer.

Sushmita Rathode has to explain that she had to file an FIR against Ratna Singh Raizada. It's from her number that Karan Mallik has been receiving messages after messages, threatening ones.

It's the only proof they have against Ratna Singh Raizada and of course, her husband's Karan Mallik's confession.

That's it! Ratna and Nandini were awaiting this opportunity. And he successfully dug a hole and what he didn't know was, he will fall into it by himself.

Ratna Singha Raizada wasn't that naive as she looked, as soon as she started developing a doubt on Karan Mallik, she started her investigation, on a personal basis, on him. His each and every move was monitored by her. In that process, she met with Nandini Singh Rathode alias Nandini Kiran Gupta. And from then they would work together, although their working together was invisible, results were always best. Ratna would gather information, investigate more, gather some more proof and pass it to Nandini. It's only Nandini who was the first one to know she is an undercover cop. Ratna's contacts were more and her team was international. It wasn't too difficult for her to investigate just an employee in her company, who was, unfortunately, her husband. She's skilled, observant, and has a wider radar.

Karan Mallik never knew these ladies were involved together. And he fell into a dighole he himself dug in.

Nandini Kiran Gupta, a 39-year-old woman and the mother of a 14-year-old Khushi Kiran Gupta. She has about 15 years experience in field work, special crime branch.

She has seen in news channels, about missing persons from various places that, more in and around Delhi, that some of the school students have been missing, new born babies are getting stolen, although these cases were not many in number and not that frequent, was just as normal as other cases, she observed a pattern.

And the pattern was these cases never had any pattern. It's just happening at a random pace, in a random place, and with random people with a random age in a random radar. Nobody would notice it because it was random. If sometimes 1 person from a group of 50 would miss, other times it would be 5 persons from a group of 100. Sometime if people've been to a picnic and won't return back and other times, people who have gone to the pub would be missing. Sometimes people would return back and they'd be the same, no case of having no memory of what happened to them would happen. Thus nobody would know what has happened and consider whatever they've said as the truth. However, it is not like they're lying, they'll be telling the truth only or maybe not.

And these cases have no link with each other. Since these were just normal, it would go to local police stations. Nandini Kiran Gupta was collecting each and every piece of information regarding this. She somewhere thought there's some link between them all. And after investigating a lot, on a personal basis, she gathered evidence. And that was random.

She followed one of the school students who went missing for a few days along with 3 others and 2 of them returned back. And from that girl, she has come to know that they were kidnapped for ransom. However, on asking more, she found out that the kidnapper had been caught, and punished for 5 years on the basis of first-degree kidnapping. And when she asked about the 3rd missing girl, she said they were just 2 who've been kidnapped. Nandini knows that was true, she heard the same in news but that doesn't mean that's the only truth. Maybe that's the truth the girls, local police, and children's parents have been exposed to. Maybe there was something more that didn't meet anyone's eyes yet or maybe, they purposely kept these kidnapping, ransom, and returning back in the limelight.

Her doubt turned out to be right. And that's when her own kid, Khushi's friend, along with some of their friends have been kidnapped and returned. And this time, the kidnapper was on the run. Two of them have been kidnapped and two have been returned. However, it turned out a girl was missing from another school. And then she understood the pattern was random.

If three students have been kidnapped from the park, they were kidnapped in the range of first-degree and returned within the next few days without receiving a ransom. Some were caught and some weren't. Local Police would concentrate on catching the kidnapper while on the other hand, when the police were diverted, the real culprits would manage to kidnap a girl or a boy and then they would never return back. By the time police could concentrate on the other missing case, no clues would have been found, and that does mean whoever has abducted the person is someone who could send them out of the police radar.

And that eventually led her to think the abductor either is a serial-killer or someone from the mafia because whoever went missing, either has enemies or they haven't. In either case, there's a possibility of somebody doing it because of personal enmity. But the particular girl she's been chasing off, who's still missing, her parents, has no personal or business rivals.

And to clear her doubt whether a mafia has been involved or not, she enquired about the girl's minute-to-minute details, requested an official permission from the court, and started working on it officially. From her investigation, a school peon and a teacher have been involved in suspicious behaviour and she went undercover, again, with a request from the high court again. Teacher and peon, both were unaware of each other's involvement in the same work. Nandini observed. She kept her eyes and ears on their communication with each and everyone and as expected, they got a message, at different times, and contacted her team, who with their techniques, programmed a code, and hacked into their phones, only to see they were messages from two different numbers and from tracking them down, she came across Raizada's Industries. These numbers were registered on Raizada's employees. And she was just about to decode Karan Mallik, entering into their radar, when she bumped into Ratna Singh Raizada.

Ratna Singh Raizada, who herself was investigating her husband, Karan Mallik, on a personal basis as she started developing doubts about him. And she comes to know very interesting facts about him, one of them was his illegal marriage with her, she's about to just confront him when she bumps into Nandini Kiran Gupta.

Nandini and Ratna at first misunderstood each other. Nandini doubts Ratna might be the person who's been contacting the teacher and peon. Ratna doubts that Nandini might be the one of the persons who has been working under Karan Mallik with whose help he's been kidnapping random people, sometimes students, sometimes college girls, and sometimes newborn babies. They both were about to have a confrontation, when they heard Karan Mallik yelling in a low voice, talking to himself.

"How's it possible that a special investigation officer is keeping a tab on me. I've made the numbers private, right?" He talks to himself.

Ratna smirks. She's the one who heard her husband assigning a task for one of their employees to register two phone numbers with Raizadas and that the numbers should be private. Probably his previous private numbers were nowhere to be found, again that's her own work and he, being himself a mere employee in her company, has ordered one of the employees to get him new private numbers. And that's why she wasn't able to gather much information about him in the first, because according to her, he has only one number registered with his name, and no suspicious behaviour from his was found by her from the time of her marriage. Only if she thought to come to office once, she'd have known he has been using other numbers registered on the company's name. And this she got to know when her son insisted on accompanying him to their company. If it was her official work and the team has been involved, she'd have gotten to know about it long ago. Alas! It was her personal investigation and the only person involved here is herself, just one contact.

On the other hand, Nandini realised he might be the one she's searching for and when she was about to face off with him, Ratna stops her as she realises by then that it is Nandini Kiran Gupta, a special investigation officer her so-called husband has been talking about.

And they shared each other's journeys about finding out the same person, Karan Mallik. If Nandini started with a school girl and ended up at Karan Mallik's place, Ratna started with Karan Mallik and ended up getting to know about several people like the school girl.

Both of their investigations had enough of evidences against him for human trafficking, drug racket, and some more. Except that his identity never proved to be Mallik.

Thus when Sushmitha got a complaint from Karan Mallik and Nandini Kiran Gupta was called. And she has already submitted the evidence to court and the court has been sent an arrest warrant.

When she entered the police station with an arrest warrant in her hand, Ratna was proved innocent.

Karan Mallik sent those messages from Ratna's phone to his phone and no second person has been involved.

When Karan Mallik realised he could be caught by Nandini Kiran Gupta, he made it look like it was Ratna who made him do the crimes he had done. So, in the next few days, he started acting weird, as if he's scared and sent those messages to himself. Ratna has it recorded as she knows he would do something to save himself, he is aware Nandini is behind him now. She has fixed button cameras in his and her radar. Recording was enough proof to relieve Ratna from the FIR.

He was arrested based on the evidence they've gathered that got them an arrest warrant. Nandini kept him in her custody.

They got a hearing date after a few days. He was accused of being a Mallik of the Mafia world, although that wasn't fully proved. The crimes he had done suggested so. But neither did he deny it in the court nor did he accept it in the court. None of the evidence was enough to prove him Mafia's king Mallik. So, his judgement was put on hold for the next few weeks.

And in those days, Nandini Kiran Gupta managed to gather proof and got to know who is the Mafia's King, Mallik. Ratna did help Nandini by giving access to everything Karan Mallik has put his hands on. Ratna, meanwhile, concentrated on updates of her team members on another case. Karan Mallik was her personal case! She also decided to tell her team that Karan Mallik might be the Mallik they weren't able to catch.

Nandini found the basis and was to take the proof with her and reach court an hour before and that was the last hearing date.

After collecting the file she secured in her locker, she moved out and started her car. It was morning. She's on her way to court. And she noticed her brother-in-law, Sumit, punching the car bonnet in the middle of the road. Her sister, Kaushi, and her husband, Amit, were standing by the side. She stopped her car in the side and asked them what they were doing and where they were going.

"Engine has some problems, it seems. I can't figure it out and there's no mechanic shop in the vicinity." Sumit makes a face.

"And we have an important meeting in an hour. We need to go," Kaushi explains and Amit nods.

Nandini thinks for a while and says, "I'm going to court. I've some work there. I'll drop myself there and you guys can take my car then. What do you say? Court is just half an hour away and your office is anyway ahead of the court only, right?"

"Good Idea," Amit agrees and they all settle in the car.

Nandini starts driving again and just after fifteen minutes, their car dashes into an uncontrolled truck that comes from their left and crushes their car into pieces. Fuel leaks and in a few seconds, their car catches fire. Burning them a little and the proof that has been destroyed and now burned into ash.

People called an ambulance.

Nandini Kiran Gupta, Kaushi Kiran Gupta, Amit Kiran Gupta, and Sumit Kiran Gupta were dead on the spot.

They were rushed to the hospital. It wasn't difficult to identify any of them. They were rushed out of the car before they could burn more. It took almost two hours for police to complete formalities and inform their families.

Court was expecting Nandini with evidence and since she failed in arriving without any reason, the case had been put into hold for so many days already and that wasn't acceptable, so, the judge, based on the already submitted evidence, punished Karan Mallik for life imprisonment and decided until court receives any further evidence, that is if someone has to provide evidence on his identity, the case will remain closed and will be re-opened only when they receive evidence. After that further punishment can be decided.

She was disappointed about Karan Mallik's punishment. He deserved more than that.

Even if Ratna wanted, she couldn't help much. She's an undercover cop. She can submit proof, which Nandini collected against Mallik, to her Scotland yard team and they could take further action. But only if she knows how Nandini was able to gather proof against Mallik. She doesn't know that. She doesn't know if Karan Mallik is Mallik or someone else is.

When Nandini's news fell into Ratna's ears about her death, after the court session, she was devastated. Only Nandini knows what's in the evidence file that has been burned into ashes. But whatever it was, Karan Mallik was the source since she is the one who gave access to Karan Mallik's radar, in and out. So, whatever the proof was, they came from that radar only.

Ratna promised herself she would work on this personally, and will reopen the case when she gets the evidence. At that point in time, when Nandini was busy with gathering evidence against Mallik's identity, whether he is Karan Mallik or someone else, only if Ratna wasn't distracted by her professional work, she'd have known.

And from then, she's personally working on Karan Mallik's case. When she was about to tell Scotland Yard, they denied continuing the case because of political disruption among higher authorities. Later gave in with a condition of finding the real Mallik's identity within 2 years. And she and her team had done everything they could do, searched each and every thing under Karan Mallik's radar, his office, his systems, his study, his files, his pen drives, everything they could get her hands on. They checked his contacts, his people who worked and still works under him. But no results. As if there was never a day Nandini had caught any clue about Mallik's identity. And her investigation went on for 11 years. 2 years were over. Official permission and team support was gone. She still hasn't lost hope. She still continued her private investigation. Luck wasn't on her side. Even after having international contacts, though it was her personal basis, she wasn't able to find a single clue.

Until one fine day. The day she met Khushi Kiran Gupta, daughter of Nandini Kiran Gupta.

To be continued..,

Okay, so, I thought B would be the last, but no. Just a flashback of single instance took me 4K+ words. There's more and I think it would take more words, till 10K if not more. I'll try to update it in C, if not, there would be a D too.
