So basically I stumbled upon this website that I used to play around with a few years back off and on. It is really a good simulation on what its like to run your own country. Will your country be prosperous? How will you rule? Benevelently? With an Iron Fist?

I decided to create this little blog as an extension of my "Real Talk" series. It falls under political, economic, and philosophical interests. I would also encourage all of you to create your own country, if you're interested, and contact me either here or on NationStates.net. I would love to compare philosophies and solutions to issues with you.

Anyway, on to the experimental side of this. Each entry will be an update on how my country, named Ancapanda, is doing. I also have a very good friend who is doing this as well, so I think it would be good to compare his to mine as well.

I hope I'm able to go in-depth in this blog and really explain the decisions I made for my country and why to you guys, as well as encourage discussions as to what you would do as well. The big 3 things that is tracked by the website of your company are: political freedom, economic freedom, and civil rights.
