It was a dense forest. He was standing there with them. They were surrounded by tall green trees.

"Who am I?" He asked to them.

"You are Agasthya..."

"Agasthya? But I can't remember..."

One of them slowly stepped towards him and cupped his face.

Agasthya looked at him. His smile was adorable.

"You can... Try again..." He said.

Agasthya sighed. His mind was blank. Terribly blank...

The second man came forward. He hugged Agasthya.

"Agasthya... Look into my eyes..."
He said.

It was a pair of green coloured eyes... Or were they blue? Agasthya couldn't understand clearly.

"What do you see?"

Agasthya gasped. His face was reflected in those eyes.

"I can see him. I can feel him...Agasthya... I know him... Yes... it is me..."

Agasthya cried in happiness while the other two slowly stepped back.

"Where are you going... I know you... You both are my brothers..."

They didn't reply.

Agasthya ran towards them.

"Please... Don't leave me alone..."

"Now you know who you are... So you don't need us..."

Agasthya extended his hands to catch them but they vanished...

"I need you... I need you..."

He screamed... But there were no one to listen...

Suddenly the blue sky became blood red coloured... He found himself standing at the middle of the fire...

Agasthya didn't try to run away.He stood there like a statue.

He slowly touched the flames...

They were colder...Colder than the fire which was burning in his heart.

"You never knew me...You never knew what I need..."

Agasthya opened his eyes with a jerk.

"Why didn't I run away?"

"What?"

He startled by that unfamiliar voice.

Meghna slowly made him lay on the bed.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" Agasthya asked in an unpleasant tone.

"I am a doctor, and this is a hospital... So I think you know the answer of your own question..."

"Hospital?" Agasthya rubbed his face and again examined the room.

Meghna giggled at his antics.

"I am really sorry... I couldn't understand... I thought that I am still at Ani bhaiya's house..." Said Agasthya with a sheepish smile.

"Well... It is because of medicines Agasthya... You need two days complete bed rest... So either you can go home and take rest or you can stay here... Choice is yours..."

Agasthya shook his head..."I will stay here..."

Meghna raised her eyebrows. Usually people prefer their home than being at the hospital. But she didn't ask him anything about that.

"Anyway... From where you didn't try to run away?"

Agasthya shook his head.

"Nothing... It was a dream...But I am afraid" His eyes were wet.

Meghna sat near to him.

"Agasthya... It is ok dear... Leave it... It was just a dream..."

"A dream, which is not too far from reality."
He replied avoiding an eye contact.

Before Meghna could ask anything else Aaryan entered the room.

"Are you Anirudh Thakur?" Asked Meghna. She was not in duty yesterday so that she didn't know any of them. Anirudh's name was written in the hospital records.

"No I am Aaryan, his younger brother."

"Ok... Actually I need permission from you people to inform the police about this case "

Aaryan glared her with his shocked eyes.

"Police... But why?"

"It is our legal policy. We have to inform them, in cases like this "

Aaryan didn't reply. He still tried to believe that it was a try for a robbery. But he couldn't. His mind was continuously whispering that there is more, there is more to come.

"No need of informing police " Said Anirudh standing at the door.

"But it is better to do that..."

"Dr. Meghna Mahesh Batra... I didn't ask your opinion. I said my decision."

Anirudh walked towards Agasthya.

Meghna glared. He was really rude.

"What do you mean by your decision, Mr. Anirudh? "

Anirudh didn't mind her.

"Are you alright now?" He asked bending towards Agasthya while the latter nodded.

"The attackers are professionals...
Your brother may have been killed, if the wound in his neck was a bit deeper..."

"I know " Anirudh murmured.

"Then how can you..."

"Don't interfere in our personal matters "
He almost roared.

Meghna wished to react in the same way, but she controlled her self. It was a hospital so she left the room to avoid an argument.

Aaryan couldn't believe his ears. Anirudh is a soft speaking person usually. This may be the first time he raised his voice against someone, and Meghna has no fault here.

"Why did you behave like that Ani? She was not wrong. We have to inform the police, we need some safety..."

Anirudh, who was helping Agasthya to get up from the bed slowly turned to his brother.

"Aaryan... Be calm... No need of police or anything else..."

Aaryan suppressed his fury. Anirudh can be terribly stubborn some time.

"Doctor advised me for two days bed rest" said Agasthya.

He was actually afraid to go back to that house. It will always make him remember that attack.

"I am taking you home. You can take rest there... Aaryan take the bag... Let's go..."

Agasthya sighed. He had no option other than accepting Anirudh's decision.

*******************

"I am sorry..."

Said Aaryan, passing the juice glass. But he didn't has the courage to look into Agasthya's eyes.

"It's ok... "

Agasthya smiled.

They both shared few silent moments.

"Where is he?" Agasthya asked breaking the silence.

"Who?" Aaryan asked. Then only he could realise the person whom Agasthya mean.

"Ani is in his room. He has some work,I guess."
Replied Aaryan. He also felt bad for Anirudh's behavior. So he decided to call him to be with them.

But before he could call Anirudh entered.

"Agasthya... Tell me what happened yesterday night? Don't miss any details. I need a complete description."

Agasthya gasped. He was trying his best to forget that all.

"Anirudh... Doctor said he need complete bed rest. Please don't pressure him. It may affect his health "
Said Aaryan holding Anirudh's hands.

But Anirudh was not in a mood to obey him.

Agasthya felt a sudden hate rising in his mind against his eldest brother.

"I can't think about it now..." He whispered. "Why can't you understand?"

"Don't make me force you... Be willing to do what I said. That is better "

Agasthya couldn't hold his tears. It was a warning...

"Anirudh stop it right now..." Shouted Aaryan. "I can't allow you to stress him now."

Anirudh looked his brother with a sarcastic smile.
"From when you started to be this much interested in his well being?"

Aaryan couldn't control him self. He hit on the table hardly and walked out of the room with heavy footsteps.

Agasthya gulped in fear. It was not the same person who hugged him and cared him yesterday night. He felt really helpless.

Anirudh made sure that Aaryan is not there and turned to face Agasthya.

"After your departure I went to my room and cried. I wished to sleep so I didn't turn on the light. I don't know how they entered. They tied my hands and a knife was very close to my neck. They didn't utter a word, but slowly touched on my neck with that knife. I don't remember anything after that..."

Agasthya said this all in one breath. He didn't want to make Anirudh more angry.

Anirudh sat on the chair in front of Agasthya.

"Agasthya... Give me your phone "

Agasthya obeyed.

Without any hesitation Anirudh threw it to the road through the window.

"What did you do?" Agasthya cried. It was one of the most precious thing according to him. It contained his photos with his father. He was unable to lose them too...

Anirudh made him look into his face. Agasthya's eyes were filled with pain and hurt. But he didn't mind that...

"Agasthya... Tell me the truth..."

"I told you already. I never lied to you. Why can't you understand? Why are you..."

Anirudh cut him by rising his hand.

"I didn't mean that... But I have a question for you..."

"What?"

"How do you know Simran Malhotra?"
