MIHIR'S POV

And I expressed everything in front of her.

I hid nothing now. She knows everything. The things that no one knows, that too.

And I've never cried like this. I always knew how to control them from falling but...

Today my heart forgot that how tears are stopped. It knew that, it's okay to be vulnerable in front of her.

"Are you crying? " I asked and she looked at me breaking the hug

"No idiot. I'm laughing" She said her voice hoarse and I smiled a bit looking at her.

"I'm being selfish right? " I asked and she looked at me

"So what? " She questioned back

"Is.. It.. Okay to be selfish? " I meekly asked

"Perfectly alright. It's perfectly alright to wish for something or someone. We're no saints Mihir. We're humans & we make mistakes. At times become selfish too." She said

"Even after knowing people are suffering due to your selfishness" I asked and she passed me a small smile.

"You see, anyone can make mistakes in life Mihir. But great courage is needed to admit them, to face them and make amends. You did all of these. So, Now if you wish for getting her back, It's perfectly fine to be selfish" She said and I looked at her.

I wish for something else too !

"Thankyou for understanding me Isha.. & giving me one more chance" I thanked and she looked at me.

"I don't leave my weak students in between" She smirked still in her tears and I chuckled wiping them.

"Yeah! Idiot" I mumbled and she smiled

"But I'm so angry on you Mihir. I mean how can you just vanish like that. You know, I didn't have any one to mock. I was so alone " she dramatically spoke and I sighed.

"Here goes the Drama Queen" I said

"Oh hello mister. I've just forgiven you. My anger is still there" She huffed turning around and I smiled at her childishness.

God! I love this childishness too!

Yeah yeah! That's what we call love right!

The things which you hate in others suddenly is the best thing for you!

Am, yeah!

"Okay, tell me how can I compensate. I mean, I know the way to compensate" I said shifting back from edge and she looked at me as she too shifted back.

"What" She asked raising her one brow and bit her lips.

Heavens! Don't do that dumb!

"A..Ic.." I was saying looking at her lips basically when she made a face.

"What?" She asked

I forgot!

What was I saying ?

Ice cream you idiot! Ice cream!

Oh yes!

"Ice cream" I said and she narrowed her eyes.

"How many? " She asked and I chuckled

"Unlimited. Eat those junk and become junk" I told because I know what's coming next.

"Junk! You said my ice cream junk. I won't leave you Mihir Malhotra" She groaned and stood up but her feet entangled and she landed directly on me.

"Ouch" She squealed.

Her hairs came all over her face while she was holding the collars of my shirt for support.

And me...

I'm dead man!

Already dead!

"I won't let you leave Isha Mittal" The words came out of my mouth and she looked at me with her wide blue eyes.

"Aa.. What does that mean? " She asked

"It means what it means" I said looking at her when she looked down smiling a bit and tried standing up but since my hands were around her waist she again fell.

"Argh!" She groaned and I chuckled

"Wait clumsy" I said while she looked at me

"What happened? " I asked when she denied

"Isha.. What happened? " I asked again when she sighed

"I fell twice or thrice in Mumbai. And hit myself. Thank God my teeth are intact. But... Those times.. No one was there to hold me and stop me from falling" She mumbled and I looked at her.

"You didn't hurt bad by falling right." I asked concerned and she giggled.

"Once, I fell in your cabin, but on chair" She said and I looked at her.

"Tum pagal ho( you're mad) " I said making her stand properly and she shrugged.

"My ice creams" She demanded

"Here are no ice creams. " I smirked but she smirked more

"Follow me Mr. Malhotra" She said and I shrugged but did as she said.

And after walking a few steps, I saw a cafe.

No ways!

" Seriously." I muttered and she smirked

"Fine! " I huffed and soon after I gave the order, she started eating that big sundae ice cream.

God! She looks so damn cute while talking and eating!

I can spend my whole life seeing her like this!

Who'll even believe that she was behaving all mature just minutes before being my emotional support.

"Click a pic and keep Mr. Malhotra. It lasts long" She said and I looked at her and then looked away.

"I wasn't looking at you. I was just thinking something" I told

"Whatever makes you sleep at night" She sang stuffing more ice cream in her mouth.

How can she eat so much ice creams!

God Mihir, whom are you even talking about when your own mom is an ice cream lover!

After eating she burped and I looked at her shocked.

"Shit." She muttered while I chuckled

"That's what happens when you eat more then your size" I mocked

"At least I'm not like you eating ghaas phoos( grass) " She said and I looked at her

"Mom says the same to dad" I told

"Really! Once I'm gonna take Abeer uncle and you all to my favorite place to eat. You both are gonna love it." She started again talking about food and ice creams and everything that happened in last one month.

And I was listening to her because I love listening her.

Suddenly her phone rang and she looked at it and then at me.

"I'm dead. I'm officially dead. It's dad" She said and I looked confused at her

"What" I asked

"Ugh! Dad. It's dad's call. It's 10:30 pm . And wait, where are Mihira bhabhi & Viv bhai." She questioned when I scratched the back of my neck.

"Mihirrr" She whined

"You weren't ready to talk so they both left you alone with me" I told and she huffed

"I'm so done with you all. Liers" She gritted and I looked at her.

"I.. I didn't mean that. I'm sorry. Not like her. I.. I just.. I'm an idiot" She muttered and I sighed

"It's okay. I know you didn't mean that" I passed a small smile and turned to go when a hand grabbed my arm.

"Mihir... I don't promise things easily. But I promise you... Everything will be fine" She whispered looking into my eyes and  I smiled.

"I'll be going from here with really light heart" I told and she blinked her eyes and started walking when I put my hand on her waist and pulled her back.

"Mihir.. " She whispered and my heart again skipped a beat.

"Thank you Ishu" I whispered in her ear and don't know what... What came in my mind and I kissed her right cheek.

I felt her goosebumps rose as she turned looking at me with her mouth agape.

"Aa...I...we need to go. Kabeer uncle must be waiting" I said and hurriedly took fast steps.

I looked behind to find her standing there only and a smile made it's place on my face.

I do affect her!

"You can dance in your mind after wards. I don't want Kabeer uncle to be angry on me." I said and she looked at me and came running.

The whole drive no one of us spoke anything.

She was looking outside the window the whole time while I was looking at her time to time.

We reached Mittal mansion at 11 pm and came out of car.

"Come inside" She offered

"Next time. Jet at 1 am " I told but before she could say anything we saw Kabeer uncle and Baani aunt.

"Where were you both? " Her dad's first question came

"Ugh! Don't mind him Mihir. Tell me, did you both have your dinner? " Baani aunt asked

"I'm full! " Isha spoke

"You must've had sunade ice cream, so you'll definitely be full" Baani aunt said ans she grinned.

"And guess what, he paid the bill" Isha told and Kabeer uncle gave her what the hell look!

Damn, that's hilarious now!

"Mihir. Come inside. Have dinner then go" Baani aunt said

"Thankyou so much aunty but mom & dad must be waiting. It's already late. We've to leave for airport too" I denied and looked at Isha who frowned

What happened to her now!

"Isha, sign the deal papers and fax them. K & M will be waiting to work with B & M" I sincerely told and she looked at me and then nodded.

"Ah, Mihir, didn't you get Abeer's call?" Kabeer uncle asked

"For what? " I asked confused

"You're here for a week. Since Isha will be signing the papers tomorrow, it'll be great if last works starts as soon as possible. It'll be a kick start for her too" He told and Isha looked at me.

"Ah...I'll talk to dad. I've some meetings in Mumbai scheduled" I said

"Confirm them and tell Isha"  He told while Isha looked at him.

"Okay guys. Enough. Mihir, since you're not going anywhere for a week and your parents are leaving, Grab a dinner with them and see them off. " Baani aunt said and I nodded smiling.

"Bye everyone." I bid bye and looked at Isha while she blinked her eyes.

The assurance which her eyes gives that everything will be fine is something which I would love to see every day!!

"Isha, plans to come inside? " Kabeer uncle asked looking at both of us

"Ah, I was just coming dad" She muttered

"Bye Mihir" She said and giving one last nod to her, I reached my car and left.

As soon as I reached Vivaan's home, Anna aunt opened the door and I was fired with series of questions.

"God! Let me least take a breath" I said

"Ugh! Tell me Mihir. How did everything go. " Mihira asked

"She's talking to you right! She forgive you" Mom asked

"You should've just offered her ice creams and desserts, nothing would have to be done" Anna aunt spoke

"Did she reach safely. You drove her home right" And that was of course Vivaan.

I sighed as I looked at dad & Aayush uncle who were sitting on the couch looking at me and surely making some remarkable comments and then laughing.

"Stop it" I screamed and they all looked at me.

"Now should I speak? " I asked and they all nodded

"Firstly dad, am I staying in Jaipur for a week" I asked and he nodded

"Really" I asked raising my brow and he smirked

"I can play cupid well you know" He smirked and I huffed

"He's so self obsessed" I told mom.

"Yeah, you went after him in this" Mihira mocked and I gave her a tight smile.

"Vivaan, yes I dropped her home safely" I told and he nodded

"Anna aunt, She did have her sundae ice cream, happily" I added and she chuckled

"Mihira , everything was more good then I thought." I added answering her question too and she looked at Anna aunt as they both shared a hug.

"Mom, You were right. There wasn't even a single strand of second where she judged me. She's talking to me. Just like before. Just Isha being Isha. " I told and she smiled

"Poori paagal (totally mad) " She said repeating what I once told her and I nodded chuckling.

"Okay, come. Let's have dinner" Anna aunt said and we all went to dining area and had our dinner when my phone pinged.

Reached safely?

I smiled reading the text.

Yes! See you tomorrow at the office Miss. Mittal!!

I wrote back.

Sure, Mr. Malhotra! Bye!

I replied to her bye and smiled looking up to see everyone at table looking at me.

"Ah... T.. Tripathi. Mr. Tripathi was there" I said and they all raised their brows.

Like seriously!!

"You all are impossible" I mumbled and they all fell into fits of laughter while a small smile again came on my lips.

We all had our dinner and I drove mom & dad to airport.

Vivaan and Mihira decided to go after two days.

"So, told everything? " Dad asked

"Mhm hm" I replied

"What did she say? " Mom asked

"That it's okay to be selfish sometimes and wanting something. That, I did a mistake but I realised it, I accepted it and I tried repenting for it. Now if I want Avika back then it's perfectly fine to be selfish" I told

"She's Gem" Mom whispered

"She's mom. She really is. I'll be lucky if the feelings I've for her are reciprocated" I expressed

"But remember Mihir, no forcing her into this" He warned

"You can't force love. If it's destined to be yours it'll be yours.  If your love is true and selfless it will return to you. It might take time...but it will !!
God will find the ways to match you with your The One !!!

I remember dad! "  I repeated his words and he nodded.

"Our son's grown up Abeer. And he's in love. " Mom said and I looked into the mirror to see mom's hand wrapped around dad's arm while she rested her head on his shoulder.

I want exactly this!

"Yes Honey bun." He said kissing her fore head.

And this too!

I smiled parking the car at the side and dad came out opening the door for mom.

"I'll join you Meera in minutes" Dad said mom and she nodded hugging me.

"Bye. Take care" I mumbled and she kissed my fore head bidding bye.

"So... How you feeling? " He asked

"Light" I honestly replied

"Mihir, I know Avika is very important to you. But you've to let her go. If she wants to come back, she will but while living in the past, don't ruin your present. Free your self from that guilt" He said and I nodded

"I'm trying " I told

"And... Something else? " He asked as a small smile played on his lips.

"What else? " I asked slightly having an idea where his tract was going.

"Something.... " He raises a brow

"Nothing. I.. Just.. No nothing" I stated

"Really? " He asked disappointed

"Hm. Just kissed her" I mumbled

"What! Reallyy! Oh damn! It means you both.. " He was saying when I spoke.

"What.. Dad no! I.. Kissed her on cheek. That was.. Just so sudden . And.. No it's nothing from her side. " I told

"Really! On cheek! You'll drown my name." He said and I sighed.

"Dad... You too are impossible" I whined and he chuckled giving me a side hug.

"No problem son. Just don't loose her ever." He said and I nodded

"Take care of yourself and mom" I told

"Young man, I'm happy that my both kids are away and I can spend some really good quality time with my wife alone" He smirked and I chuckled

"Sure oldie" I mocked

"Oldie hoga tera baap (Oldie might be your dad) " He said

"Exactly" I smirked and he huffed

"Some genes of your mom are... Ugh, like this instant back firing " He said and I chuckled

"Bye and Focus on your work too. " He warned and I nodded

"Bye" I bid him bye as be went inside and I drove back to home, changed and slept.

It has been a long day!

And...I've taken one step towards her!

And I'm sure of one more thing that...

After today, things are going to change between her & me.

Reason is simple......

I'm willingly hers!!

And I want her to be....

Willingly Mine!!
