MIHIR'S POV

In 40 minutes we reached Amer fort and I looked at Isha.

"This is magnificent" I said

"It is! Look at the pond. And you know Mihir, this Amber fort or as we say Amer fort is beautiful melange of architecture. When you'll see inside, you'll agree " She told pointing the waters and I nodded.

I looked around as we were on the way. The Amer Palace Fort sat atop a small hill.

As we moved inside I saw the complex that has been built with pale yellow and pink sandstone, and with white marble.

The fort was divided into four main sections that were graced with their own courtyards.

It had a number of sections, including the King’s quarters, the zenana (where the women lived), gardens, temples, etc.

"Damn, the walls Isha. I mean, now I'm thinking of building a hotel in Jaipur that have the exact same architecture" I told and she smirked at me.

"You're standing in my territory Mr. Malhotra. So think before you say. Bajaj & Mittals have their world's best hotels in their home town of course" She smirked and I raised my hands chuckling.

"As you say my Lord" I said and she giggled taking my hand and walked towards another place.

AMER FORT, JAIPUR

"Damn, don't tell me from this too idea have been taken" I said as I looked at the Sheesh Mahal.

"Sorry, you're late" She mocked while I sighed.

"Dad & mom never saw this place? Nor our architecture teams! " I huffed when she smiled.

"Well the thing is, these designs dates back to very old time. Like from two three generations. Hence, even if your companies might have thought, it was already taken" She explained and I nodded.

"Yeah Miss. Mittal, you're right. Rajasthan is your territory " I told and she nodded.

"You know Mihir, it's said that in old times, if a candle or lamp was placed in the center of this sheesh Mahal, it lightened the whole area of it. " She whispered looking at the mirrors and I could see her looking at me from them .

"Isha, what happened? " I asked

"You're just like that lamp for me. Lightening my whole day" She said and I looked at her kissing her fore head.

"Ditto" I whispered and she looked at me and then smiled scrunching her nose while I was looking at her lovingly.

SHEESH MAHAL, AMER

"You know, Amer Fort is also home to some underground tunnels that connect Amer to Jaigarh Fort. Like this one. It goes directly to Jaigarh Palace" She said and I looked at the place really impressed.

"Really! Then let's go by that only" I told

"Dude. It's damn humid inside. You'll come half back" She mocked and I raised my brow.

"Are you challenging me Miss. Mittal? " I asked

"No Mihir. But, it's really humid and dense." She told

"Okay as you say" I said

Secret Tunnel

"Oh Mihir. See this as soon as possible. I want to take you at a spot as soon as possible" She hurriedly told looking at the time in her watch and I nodded.

"But tell me one thing, The essence of Amer Fort is encapsulated by the beautiful light and sound show within the fort, if we see sunset, we'll miss it because it starts as soon as sun begins to set" I told

"Sush. Who even wants to see the light and sound show?" She said as we looked around and climbed a spot which she was leading probably for the sun set.

"I want to. I want to see everything here" I stated and she stopped mid tracks and looked at me and smiled a bit.

"Jitna bhi try karo Bunny, life mai kuch na kuch to chootega hi. Isliye jaha hai usi ka maza lete hai na (Even if you try so much, there'll be something which will be left behind Bunny, so let's enjoy where we are) " She said and I looked at her and then ruffled her hairs kissing her forehead.

"Tum galat nahi ho Naina, bas mujhse bahut alag ho (You're not wrong Naina, but different from me) " I replied and she smiled holding my hand and pointed to an edge.

I nodded and we both went there and sat there adjusting ourselves while I held her hand because it was really edgy & seeing her clumsiness, I can't take a bit of risk.

SUNSET

"So, you're leaving tomorrow morning" She asked and I hummed.

She looked at me and kept her head on my shoulder.

"Will you miss me? " She asked and I chuckled.

"Never" I replied while she looked at me and then frowned.

"Of course I'll miss you Ishu. Every damn second" I whispered and she smiled keeping her head back on my shoulder.

"So, now what? " She asked

"What, what? " I questioned back

"About us Mihir" She said

"Heard of long distance? " He asked

"Will we do it? " She sighed

"I'm clear about myself. I'll of course do it. You tell about yourself" I demanded

"Of course I'll! But, what about I missing you" She pouted and I chuckled pointing in front.

"Look in the front" I whispered

"Sun's setting" She said and I nodded

It looked etheral that how there was a collision of skybursts reds and oranges slowly into black. It was a great symphony of colors.

"I'm really glad that we left the light & sound show" I told while she smiled still looking in front.

"I know Isha, long distance is going to be tough. But let's prove ourselves tougher" I said and she looked at me.

"Mihir I w.. " She was saying when I pressed my finger on her lips.

"Sush. Listen to me first" I told and she nodded but I stood up.

"Let's have our dinner first" I added

"Yes! I'm already hungry" She said tired and I nodded.

Hence we went to 1135 AD.

"Vintage and royal aesthetics" I told looking around.

"Yes! One of the finest here" She said and I nodded.

"Welcome Ms. Mittal & Mr. Malhotra. We've been waiting for you both. Your table has been reserved as you guided Ms. Mittal" The manager spoke

"Thankyou so much" Isha replied and looked at me with a small smirk.

"Something cooking up in that little brain" I said and she chuckled

"I.. Know we've had first date. But that's for you" She told holding my hand and took me to a place.

It was actually secluded and... Well beautiful!

Really beautiful!

The space was open and we went to the last table reserved on Isha's name.

"Sit" She said sliding the chair for me and I looked at her.

"What's this" I asked and she raised her brow.

"Duh, why should men always pull out a chair. Equality" She said and I smiled looking at her and sat down.

"Please seat yourself Ms. Mittal" I smirked and she laughed.

I looked at the table which had candles and... Some red roses.

"Cliche" I mumbled and she narrowed her eyes at me.

"Am, danger zone about flowers and candles" I added and she giggled.

"Well, it's a dinner date" She said looking at her hands while I was looking at her.

"I would prefer if you'll look into my eyes and say that Isha" I whispered and she looked at me and then smiled shrugging her shoulders.

For sometime we both didn't say anything while I looked at the time.

1135 AD, Amer

"It's already 8:30 pm" I said and she looked at me.

"Time's...flying" She muttered with a frown.

"So, when are you coming to Mumbai?" I asked and she was about to say when the waiters came with a big platter.

"Wow! What's this" I said looking at the big silver platter.

"It's Thaal-E-Jodha. " She told and I nodded.

"We'll be able to complete it alone? " I asked and the waiter smiled a bit while Isha laughed.

"I've ordered more Mr. Malhotra" She said and I saw more waiters coming towards us.

"You had it planned before right! " I chuckled and she smirked.

"I know you're not a much fan of eating, but Mihira bhabhi told me, you love to know about dishes and taste them, even if it's a bit. So, you've already eaten Dal baati Choorma. Now it's turn of some other things. Okay, You wanna guess?" She asked and I looked at the first dish.

"Am... Looks like.. Kebabs" I told and she giggled.

"Even a kid can tell. Okay, so that's basically called here as Kesar Kyaari" She remarked

"It has Saffron in it" I guessed

"Well not really. These kebabs are made by finest assorted veggies. Try them" She said picking up one and forwarded her hand near my mouth while I looked at her.

I held her hand delicately and ate the same.

"Different and flavorful" I told and she smiled.

"Ans in this platter, we've all. the variety of Rajasthani food. With of course the authentic Ker sangri & Bajre ki roti" She explained and I nodded.

"Honestly Isha, it looks tempting. And I'm hungry too" I said and she smiled gesturing me to start.

I tried everything on that silver platter and trust me, it was finger licking.

After dinner we were just sitting and listening to the music being played when she spoke.

"Mihir... I'll.. Miss you" She whispered all of a sudden and I looked at her.

"Isha.. " I was saying when she stopped me.

"I know, I know what you'll say. We'll be busy in works. We'll talk etc etc. But I don't know. I'm already missing you. I.. What if you... Leave me again. " She whispered as a tear left her eye.

I saw a waiter coming when I gestured my hand to him to go back and he nodded.

I sighed and pulled Isha's chair just near mine and she gasped.

"Sush. Stop over thinking. And now listen" I said and she looked at me.

"First wipe off those tears Isha. I don't like them at all. I can see anything but tears in your eyes are my weakness " I sighed wiping them while she nodded.

"Okay, so you see. Long distance relationship are difficult, but not impossible right! And I promise, we'll make it work. I know there will be days Isha when we won't be able to talk for whole freaking day. But we'll never sleep without a text of good night at least. Okay? " I asked and she nodded.

"I know there will be times, when either my anger will come in between, or your stubbornness" I chuckled while she pouted

"Don't do that" I warned while she huffed

"I'm not stubborn" She opposed

"Yes you're sweet heart" I said and she denied yet smiled.

"Yeah, so there will be times we'll fight like this but we'll never go to bed mad at each other. We'll say sorry and... I can send you ice creams to mend" I told and she laughed nodding.

"I'll send you Tiramisu. Your favorite" She grinned and I smiled nodding.

"But what about distance Mihir! What about 1147 Kms" She frowned

"I know Isha, there will be times when we'll hate this distance. We'll curse the distance, but at those times, we'll look forward to days we'll be meeting." I said and she sighed yet nodding.

"That's going to be tough part I guess" She mumbled while I held her hand in mine.

"There will be days Isha, we'll feel like this isn't working the way we wanted. But at those times, we'll put the extra efforts. We'll make it work. It's going to work" I said

"You're very sure" She asked smiling

"Never have been so sure" I stated while she looked at me with a content smile.

"And Isha, I know there will be times I'll get very much jealous & insecure of other people around you... Just cope up with me in that" I muttered while she looked at me with amused smile.

"So, at those times just remember that this, what we have is much more then 1147 kms" She said and I looked at her.

"What are we Isha? What do we have? " I asked and she looked at me.

"I.. What should I say" She mumbled

"You asked me right, why I'm so sure that this is gonna work. Because I'm sure from my side. I've never ever been so sure for anything in my life as much this. I don't wanna give it a shot. I want it. I want you. I need you. Forever." I professed

"Mihi... " She was saying when I put my finger in her lips.

"I'm not completed yet" I whispered and she looked at the finger and then into my eyes.

"I'm so sure about this because for me distance doesn't matter more. For me what matters the most is you, because... " I said taking a deep breath and looking directly into her blue orbs.

"I Love You" I finally confessed.
