Love is a crazy thing but marriage makes you more crazier!

It's been three months! Three freaking months to our marriage!

And now I feel, Mumbai is my city & Malhotra mansion is my home.

Mom was always right when she used to say that once you get married, that home of yours become your favorite. More then your parents home too!

Doesn't mean Jaipur isn't my favorite! Every place, every home and every person has their own place in life right!

"Are you ready?" Mihir's voice made me come out of my trance.

"In a minute" I replied as I wore the dress Mihir left for me.

I looked into the mirror and took a deep breath.

It was a black satin spaghetti dress.

"Are you sure, you'll take me out in this? " I asked as I opened the door of walk in and he looked at me and took a deep breath.

"You.. Look ravishing" He complimented and I blushed.

"You don't either look bad in black" I smirked and he sighed.

"Just don't leave my hand even for a milli second. People must be aware, you're my wife" He possessively said.

"This already shows that I'm married" I told showing off the wedding bangles.

"And before you say anything, I loved this birthday outfit. Thank you" I smiled tiptoeing and pecked his lips.

Well yes! It's my birthday!

We stepped downstairs when dad and mom looked at me.

"You look gorgeous sweety" They both said at the same time and I chuckled.

"Enjoy both of you" Dad winked and Mihir smirked.

"Did anyone hear from Mihira bhabhi" I asked

"I talked to her before some hours. She was little unwell" Mom told

"Is.. she okay right. And the baby too" I asked

Oh and yes!

Mihira bhabhi is 2 months pregnant!

"Doll, they both are alright. Just little ups and downs. Don't worry. Everyone's with them in Jaipur. We too will visit them tomorrow right" Dad assured and I nodded.

"Okay now without thinking anything get lost both of you. And enjoy" Mom said and we both chuckled nodding.

"Where to sir? " Charlie asked

"Car keys Charlie" Mihir commanded and Charlie did the same while I sat on the passanger seat.

Mihir came to the driver seat and looked at me.

"Where are we going. Now tell me? " I frowned and he smirked.

"Patience birthday girl" He said and I huffed as he drove off.

And after some time we were at a serene place.

There was this lake which I could see because of the moon light.

And I looked to find a tree house.

"Tree house. The same you had your childhood weekends" I asked and he smiled holding my hand.

"Farishta (angel) . It's the name" He told kissing my hand and I smiled at it.

"I so wanted to come here since the day you told me about it" I excitedly said as he took me to it and opened the door.

"And I wanted to take you here so early. But never got chance. And these three months, they were busiest. Moreover, what can be better day then this" He told as he turned on a dim light and I looked around.

"This is... Surreal" I mumbled as I saw the  tree house.

It had lots of pictures hanging that included Mihir's grandparents and everyone else too.

It was a slight cold hence I was wearing a  coat which Mihir helped me removed and kissed my ear.

"So birthday girl, what do you want? " He asked

"Food... I guess" I told and he chuckled.

"Okay, choose one" He asked showing me two pieces of paper.

I looked at him and chose one which he showed me.

"I'll cook" I read and then I grinned.

"Finally! Finally after three freaking months of this marriage, you'll cook" I exclaimed and hugged him.

"Well, what was second one" I asked and he showed me.

"I'll.. Cook. It's same" I told

"Of course it is! Because I will cook today for you my love" He said kissing my cheek and I grinned.

"I love you" I professed and he smiled as we moved towards kitchen.

"This home, is really really beautiful! So close to nature. Everything in wood." I said looking everywhere.

"So, what you'll eat Ma cherie (my sweetheart) " He asked

"Whatever special you make for Mon amour (my love). Of course with a dessert" I smirked & he chuckled.

"Lemme see what all we've here. Though I informed to refill kitchen before hand" He mumbled looking around counter and fridge.

"So what you'll make" I asked

"Today I'll make the recipes which Malhotras like the most cooked by me" He boasted and I tapped his shoulder.

"Name? " I mocked and he huffed

"I'll make Mediterranean pasta with feta & olives. Vegetable lasagna with ricotta or you tell me, Pan pizza? " He asked

"Pan pizza" I grinned and he chuckled nodding.

"And for dessert? " I asked beaming

"Choco lava cake, mini gulkand shreekhand Tarts and... Of course Ice cream. Well, sizzling brownie with ice cream" He winked and I looked at him.

"Make desserts first. Please. Pretty please. " I literally begged and he chuckled

You can roam around the house or do anything till I cook. I'll take me an hour and half" He told

"I'll help. We'll cook together" I said and he looked at me but then nodded.

"But, no hands in my desserts" He warned and I giggled nodding.

And then there was literally master chef season... don't know which, I guess was running.

He chopped vegetables with that big knife like a fine chef and tossed them really in air like chef.

"Damn! You look sexy while doing so" I told and he looked at me and chuckled.

Soon he prepared all the dinner and desserts too were ready till now.

He came back with the shrikhand tarts from fridge and choco lava cake from oven.

"I can't wait to dig in" I said and he smiled as we took everything at dining table.

Like a gentleman he filled the plate and another one with of course desserts.

We both sat on the adjacent chairs and I looked at everything on table.

As I took bite of everything, I just moaned at the taste.

"Okay. This is damn amazing! And now, I won't speak till I eat this because it's damn damn tasty" I complimented and he smiled looking at me.

I started to stuff everything in my mouth when I saw him looking at me.

"What" I asked as I ate a spoon full of shrikhand.

"What? " He questioned back

"Why you looking at me like that" I asked as I stuffed my mouth with lava cake.

"Because you've no idea how hungry you look" He mocked and I narrowed my eyes.

"And at the same time, how damn sexy you look. With that chocolate on side of your lips. So inviting that, I can kiss you right here" He said and I looked at him biting my lips.

"And stop biting your lips. It's another invitation " He added

"So, what are you waiting for" I whispered and he looked at me but in another second I wasn't even on my chair.

I was in someone's lap, who was kissing me.

"You taste heaven" He whispered as he broke the kiss and I kissed his hairs.

"Happy Birthday Cupcake" He wished and I smiled kissing his eyes now.

And after ten minutes, well yeah ten minutes of settling down like decent people, we had our dinner after which Mihir put the dishes in sink and then came to me.

"So wife, now what's the plan? " He asked and I shrugged my shoulders.

"How about a movie" He asked

"Romantic one" I told and he smiled but I shrieked another second as he picked me up in his arms.

"What are you doing" I asked

"Close your eyes" He said

"No" I replied

"I've my ways Ishu. You know that" He stated and I glared him.

"Always dominant" I huffed and closed my eyes.

I felt him moving somewhere and then he opened a door .

I know this because I heard clicking of a knob.

"You may open your eyes sweetheart" He whispered in my ear and as soon as I did that, my mouth was agape.

"Wow" It's all that left my mouth.

There was this tent like something made, which had a mattress, cushions, so many fairy bulbs.

And this was all on terrace from where all I could see was a beautiful Moon and stars.

"This is... Beautiful" I whispered when Mihir hugged me from behind.

"Liked it? " He asked when I turned and pecked his lips.

"Loved it" I replied and his smile grew wider as if he won the match.

"I'll be back with something. Wait here" He told and I nodded sitting on the mattress.

I was scrolling my phone when I a message came on my chats.

Be aware! I'm watching you! Your time starts now baby girl! Tik tok! Tik tok!

My hands trembled looking at the message and I looked here and there.

"Mi.. " I was about to call him but his smiling and content face came in front of me.

I can't ruin this for him. For whole day, he has been so happy. Birthday was mine but it was as if he had got wings to fly.

I can't ruin his mood by telling this right now.

I gulped down and with determined hands, I wrote back a message!

Who are you! If you're brave enough. Come from front and fight! Not like a coward hiding behind the bushes!

I sent the message and instantly got another reply but I saw it was from another number.

What the hell is wrong with thi person!

Sweet pea, live as much you want to live for now because very soon, this person will be snatched away from you!

It read and as soon as I saw the picture, the phone fell from my hand and I shrieked.

"Ishu" Mihir's voice came and I saw him coming towards me.

I instantly locked my phone and kept it away.

"What happened" He asked concerned

"I.. Saw a lizard" I lied and he looked at me.

"Lizard? " He asked and I looked at him.

Please, please God make him believe!

"Oh! Look there. The lizard" He said and chuckled as there was actually a lizard crawling on the back side of wall.

Mihir chuckled and made that creature go away while I looked at him.

Tears welled up in my eyes as the picture was coming in front of my eyes.

It was one of our wedding picture! Torn into two pieces and Mihir's side burning.

"Baby, what's wrong. It's gone" Mihir asked and I didn't say anything and just hugged him.

"I'm afraid" I whispered and he looked at me.

"Ishu, I didn't know you're so afraid of lizards! Thank God. At least there's something you're afraid of " He mocked and I looked at him.

"Shut up and kiss me already" I stated and he looked at me for a second and next my wish got full filled.

"Wait. What about the movie" He asked after he broke the kiss.

I looked at him and kissed him again.

"Got the hint" He mumbled and this time kissed me more harder.

He kissed my whole face and looked at me.

"I love you" He whispered just like he says whenever he's about to step further and I looked at him.

My inner turmoil was rising second by second and I wanted to clear that image.

"I love you Mihir Malhotra" I said and with that he completed what I wished.

After a long love making session, I saw him lightly snoring as he was sleeping holding me to himself.

"I'll always, always love you. And I'm sorry for hiding this. " I whispered to his sleeping form and then putting my head on his chest, I closed my eyes.

If anything has come to me, no worry! But nothing should happen to him! That's it!

Don't know when sleep over powered me.

Next I woke up when I saw someone tapping my shoulder.

"Cupcake, wake up" Mihir's voice came and I slowly opened my eyes.

I looked at Mihir, who was standing with a breakfast plate.

"Did I ever tell you how much I love...food" I smirked and he looked at me and at the tray and sighed.

"Atleast wake up properly Ishu, then start your day mocking" He said and I smirked opening my arms.

He kept the tray side and hugged me kissing my forehead.

"Good morning Husband" I wished

"Good morning wife! Brush, eat and we've to leave" He told and I nodded.

After we reached home, mom and dad smiled as well as teased us but, now we're used to it!

Well, Dad mostly!

We both took bath, got ready and since we've had breakfast we both left for our offices.

"Mihir listen" I mumbled

"Yes Ishu. Fast. I've an important meeting" He told and I looked at him.

"Nothing! Just drive safe" I said and he looked at me for a second and then nodded bidding bye.

I too reached my office and started working! It was half past lunch time when I saw that there was Mihir's message.

You were sorry for hiding something! I hope I'll know it before I've to dug it out!

I sighed and replied.

You'll know it!

I typed and sent after which I again got busy with the works.

It was 8 pm when I left the office.

As I sat in the car , the driver started the car but unfortunately it didn't start even after several attempts.

"Get another car from the office parking Trevor " I told

"Ma'am, all cars have gone for washing today! " He informed and I sighed.

"How much time will it take? " I asked

"Cars from home will take 30 minutes and 40 minutes from washing center. " He informed

"And from K & M? " I asked

"10 minutes" He told and I nodded calling Mihir.

"Send one of your cars to office" I said and told him everything.

Okay. But well, my car from morning is there only! I had some legal work with Vivaan so he picked me up from your office. The car's  in another parking. You can use that" He told

"Perfect" I said and commanded Trevor for the same.

Soon he was back with the car and I sat on behind seat while Trevor on passanger seat.

We were on our way to head home when suddenly I saw a big car coming from distance in high speed.

My eyes widened and fear engulfed me.

" Trevor " I shrieked but before anything our car was clashed with another car.
