TRIGGER WARNINGS: blood, attempted su!c!d3, death and gore 

hey! so I actually wrote this about a year ago, and just never posted it, but I've decided to now, so I hope you enjoy! <3

hey guys! so here's a random explanation for this book. it might be a bit long, but it should be separated into paragraphs, too, so maybe you'll be able to find something you need to find there. 

1. this is a hunger games fanfic, if that wasn't clear already. if you haven't read the hunger games I don't recommend reading this, since there are plenty of places where you will be very confused--but if you like being confused, go for it. there may be spoilers for the actual books included, but don't worry, the original characters are not there. 

2. if you have the time, please comment! I love seeing advice, and if you notice a spelling or grammar error please tell me. I usually look over chapters once or twice, but of course it's always possible for me to miss something. 

3. please don't comment hate to me. feel free to hate on characters all you want! I don't mind you yelling your heart out, as long as it's not directed at me. 

4. feel free to steal my characters or some of the plot (not all!), but at the very least mention I was the inspiration. also, I would love to be tagged just for the sole reason that I love reading stories, and ones with things that I've made up but in someone else's style are amazing. 

5. There are a lot of triggers in this book, and I won't even say I try to avoid them. while there will not be detailed descriptions of r@p3, it is definitely suggested multiple times, and there may be fade-to-black scenes of it. gore will be detailed, like in the actual books, or maybe just a little bit worse because I've got a pretty dark mind. if you have a different trigger that you're scared about being in the book, please comment! I'm glad to answer questions : )

6. this book is also published on ao3! if you happen to see it on there--which you probably won't, i barely have anything on my ao3 acc and that story isn't very popular on there--it isn't stolen, or copied, or anything. however, this story is only on wattpad and ao3, so if you see it anywhere else (yeah, that's you, teenfic.net), that is not me. 

there are also scenes of attempted suicide and suicidal thoughts that could be very triggering, so viewer discretion is advised 

READ THIS PLEASEEEE ITS IMPORTANT:

yes, I do know that most of the things happening before Daphne gets in the arena don't line up with the books. when I wrote this I had not read the books in a while and I don't have a great memory and google has been no help and I didn't want to ask people on wattpad about everything because I don't like clogging up people's notifications. so maybe some things are weird. if there's any obvious plot holes, tell me! if there's not, please just move on. it's just unique lmao

*as part of my writing style, I like to use repetition that normally wouldn't fit with grammatical standards, so if you see that, ignore it : )
