I continued to lay back and wait for her. After a little she finally started, "Shadows settle on the place, that you left. Our minds are troubled by the emptiness. Half of me wanted to say no and the other half wanted yes. I clapped, "You can stop." Jackie smiled, "Yay. Now what do we need to do?" I stood up straight, "I need more info on the Alpha Shards. I want to know if I have to force them together, or if they come together on their own." I also need to know how to do the sacrificial ritual. Jackie didn't need to know that part. I'll do what ever I need to do to protect her. Jackie popped up, "We can go to that science place. There is a bookshelf there." I nodded, "Good idea, I haven't checked there in a while." We headed that way. Something wasn't right when we showed up. It wasn't anything I've felt before. Besides me knowing it was going to be a fight. Maybe it was with words or swords. Jackie seemed involved in a way. We got inside and Jackie started going through books. None of these books seemed to be helping. I needed new information. There were two new Phantoms in a glass cage. I got closer to them, "Hey Jackie, it's these two again." Jackie looked over, "The two phantoms from the haunted house." I sat there for a second, "Wait, the scientist works for the Alpha... Right?" Jackie nodded, "Mhm, why?" This may just be a theory but, "The scientist must also be working with..." I'm gonna hate saying this, "...My sister. So are they all working together?" Jackie shrugged and went back to the books, "Why would your sister betray you?" I growled, "She's done it before." A sudden yell came from outside, "HEY JACKIE!" Jackie looked at me, "Nooooo..." I didn't like this already.
