Alberto (narrating): Okay what's the first thing you think of when you hear 'Animal-squad'?

Alberto (narrating):...nothing? okay you'd probably think of those little animal friends; Sonic, Mei-mei, Luca and Alberto or should i say, Sonic, Mei-mei, Luca and 'Me'?

Alberto (narrating): And it all started the day we all met, when i had to join a new school in the middle of third grade

*a younger version of alberto steps off a bus with a huge smile on his face*

Young Alberto: Hello potential new friends!

*In the classroom*

Teacher: *Rings her cowbell* We have a new student today, Everyone, say hello to alberto scorfano

*alberto walks in the classroom*

Young Alberto: Hi everyone! *chuckles*

*none of the students seemed to be amazed, then a young sonic, luca and mei looked over*

Young Luca: Wow...

Young Alberto: Uhh...*gasps* i know

Young Alberto: *Dumps a bucket of water over himself to reveal himself in his sea monster form*

*but in doing so the teacher and the class except for luca, sonic and mei got scared*

Young Alberto: D- Don't worry! i'm not dangerous

Random Student: Ew, you're super weird

*transition to the cafeteria*

*young alberto was sitting alone*

Alberto (narrating): But in doing that little stunt, nobody wanted anything to do with me, so i had to sit alone but this is where i met my new group of buddies

*then alberto turned around and sees, young sonic, mei and luca*

Young Mei: Hi there, Mind if we sit?

Young Alberto: Sure

*Luca, Sonic and Mei sit with alberto*

Young Sonic: Dude, that stunt you did by scaring the class with your sea monster form was hilarious! you even managed to scare the teacher

Young Alberto: Really? I kind of wish i hadn't done it

Young Mei: No way! the biggest risk is not taking a risk, you just didn't set up the joke right

Young Luca: We can help you if you want

Young Luca: The name's Luca and these are my friends; Mei and sonic

Young Alberto: I'm Alberto, hey have you ever seen 'pingu'?

Young Alberto, Young Luca, Young Sonic and Young Mei: 'Noot Noot!'

*they burst into laughter*

Young Luca: You know I think it's cool you're a sea monster

Young Alberto: Really?

Young Sonic: Yeah! we're all not humans, like i'm a hedgehog, mei can poof into a red panda and luca's also a sea monster

Young Alberto: Really?

Young Luca: Yeah! me and mei can show you!

*Luca pours water over himself and he turns back into a sea monster and mei poofs into her red panda form*

Young Alberto: Wow, that's so cool!

Young Mei: We know

Alberto (narrating): Luca was kind and thoughtful, Sonic was adventurous and laid-back, mei was feisty and quirky! and i was the brave and independent one, We were all perfect for each other!
