"L, are you coming to bed?" I asked, as I walked into the living room of our small two bedroom apartment.
"I'm afraid not Y/N. I've found more proof that Light is Kira. My suspicion of him went up ten percent." He stated blandly, as he sat on white couch typing away at his computer.
"You're going to get carpal tunnel." I sighed, and sat down on the couch next to his crouched position.
"Just because you got doesn't mean I will." He mumbled, without taking his eyes of the laptop screen.
"Whatever." I mumbled, "But if you're not going to bed, then I guess I'll just sit here with you."
"Y/N why don't you get sleep in our room? There's an eighty-five percent chance you'll fall asleep on me, and sleeping on this couch isn't the most comfortable way to sleep." He explained as he continued typing.
"Make that ninety-five percent." I yawned, and snuggled up to L to the best of my abilities.
"You're not going to get up are you?" He asked, and stopped to talking to look at me.
"Nope!" I smiled,
"You know you're stubborn right?"
"That's why you love me isn't it?" You asked jokingly,
"That's only five percent of it." He responded, and closed his laptop.
"Oh yea? So what's the other ninety-five percent?" I question, with a stupid smile.
"That's for me to know, and you to figure out." He smiled slightly, and set his laptop the side. "I suppose I'll go to bed tonight." He added, after he checked the time on the clock we had on our wall.
"Really?" You asked in disbelief,
"Don't make me change my mind." He mumbled, as he stood up.
"I don't know... I'm kinda comfortable on this couch." I smirked, implying that I wasn't planning on getting up now.
"Then I guess I will just have to do this." He casually picked me up bridal style and carried me to our room. After placing me on our bed, he laid down next to me and pulled me close.
"If I knew how nice this was, I would've done this sooner." He mumbled,
"Sure, you're always so busy with the Kira case." I snorted, and turned my back to face him. This rendered L speechless. Not the speechless where he didn't know how to put his thoughts into actual human words, but where he didn't know what to say.
"Are you implying something?" He asked calmly, after a moment of silence.
"No," you started, "alright yes."
"And what might that be?"
"For the words greatest detective you really aren't the best at relationships." I mumbled,
"Am I not giving you enough attention?" He asked, after thinking for a moment. I didn't say anything, I just laid there.
"I know that's the reason." He mumbled quietly,
"It's not like I expect you to spend every second of the day with me." I started, "It's just sometimes I wish you weren't always working."
"How about this, tomorrow I won't work. I'll let the task force be of use, and we can spend the day together. After tomorrow, I will start taking breaks from work." He explained, "Is that ok?"
"It's perfect." I yawned, and closed my eyes.
"Goodnight Y/N."
"Night L."

Hello readers! It's a very tired kitty typing and I would like to say *Looks down at notes* that uh I will not be posting again this week until either Friday or after Friday. Liz did say she would update again so that this book isn't as bare. Other news includes, we might be having a new member join us! Due to the fact that I'm an idiot when I texted her I couldn't quite tell if it was a yes or a no so I will get back to you on that. In other words, I hope you enjoyed! P.S it took me forever to pick out a gif. 29 minutes to be exact! The percent of me now falling asleep and have this weird dream about being in an anime is now at a 65%. It got weird.
