Oh my God I was so tensed to look the legends watching towards the new batswoman. It was a wonder for them that a girl was coming to face the ruthless bowler who was on a hattrick. I closed my eyes once and remembered what Dad said to me before the match and faced the ball and to everyone's surprise I hit a sixer. Everyone there clapped on my shot. I hit the next ball to the boundary. The bowler Amit Singh came to me and congratulated me for my batting. Anish came and hugged me. I had a great start, I was playing well but when I was about to complete my Century but while taking the run the bowler pushed me and I fell down but I rapidly moved the bat towards the deadline before the ball hit the stumps and yes I completed my century. Sachin and Sehwag gave a standing ovation and I was on the top of the world. Oh my God what is happening? Was I dreaming? Anish was proud of me. After my century Anish also completed his century. Our batting was over. Our score after 20 overs was 200-2. Shakti Apartments needed 201 from 120 balls. The match till now was very interesting.
After the half time it was our turn for bowling. I was worthless as a bowler because I never got the opportunity for bowling. It was the rule that in every match there must be at least one female over and that day our female bowler was not playing and she was replaced by her sister who was a novice in cricket. So I had to do the female over. I was scared because I know I'm a worthless bowler. Anish came to me and said, "The worst thing that can happen is the batsman hits 36 runs in your over right? No problem sis go for it." I decided to do the first over so that the over doesn't prove to be a match changer. Anish agreed on my view. I closed my eyes again and remembered those magical words by my Dad. I faced the opening batsman and threw the ball and he hit it straight up. The ball was high up but it was the easiest for me to catch it and I catched it. I couldn't believe myself that I took a wicket. Then the next batsman came and the over was a maiden over with a wicket. I was thinking that it can't be true it must be a dream. Anish also did great bowling taking 3 wickets in total. Shakti Apartment lose all there wickets one by one and I also took a good catch of Amit Singh who was trying to play match changing innings for Shakti Apartment. We won the match. Sachin and Sehwag walked to the ground for distributing the awards. I won the Woman of the match award for my century and 1 wicket and a catch. Anish won the Man of the match award for his century and 3 wickets. Sachin and Sehwag congratulated us. Sachin said, "I've never seen a girl playing like this. God bless you!" Sehwag said, "You two had a match winning partnership!" Anish said, "Sir we are twins and were born on your birthday." Sehwag was happy to hear that and said, "God bless you kids! And Best Wishes for your future." They left the ground and I suddenly asked Anish to pinch me. Anish pinched me and said, "You aren't dreaming silly. It's the reality. I'm the happiest person on the earth today. Proud of you Sister." I said, "Thanks!"
