Description:  Before the reboot. 

Anika was so confused as, why she's caring for someone who didn't even know about her existence. He should be the end chapter for her, but she just couldn't let it go. He's leaving the city permanently and moving to America with his family. But why the hell should she care about it. But tears continuously flowed from her eyes for that, for someone who didn't even know her name. It hit her strongly. She didn't come out of the room for the entire day after hearing that news. 

Before two years, everything was going well, even she had no courage to talk or interact with him, she felt satisfied in seeing him every day and it was enough for her, she had her own best friend to talk and share her feeling when her friend ditched her, she was breaking to an extent and stopped talking to anyone. And now, this news made her realize how much weak she was and There was one thing that ruled her, Her insecurities. She let that rule her and ruin her. 

"Ani... Please Have dinner? You have nothing since morning" - She heard her mom's voice in a frail tone. 

"Mom... Leave me alone... For the god's sake..." - She cried. 

"Baby! Please open the door, I swear I won't disturb you... Please Let me come inside..." - Her mom pleaded with her. Anika had to open the door when her mom cried from the other side of the door. She opened the door not before wiping her eyes. 

Her mom came inside and sat next to her in the bed. She was silent looking at the window. Her mom faced her scariest nightmare. Seeing her daughter in a depressed state. Throughout her life, she lived only for her daughters and Her firstborn was too close to her heart because she was the silent and introverted kid from birth. But when it comes to responsibility, she let every hesitation and work for it. 

But for the past few days, she was behaving so weird, and she keeps awake for the whole night. She could find out the reason until yesterday. But now, she knew the reason when she got her diary which was full of Shivaay's images, Images from the group photos, which Anika cut only his face and pasted in that album. 

"Mom..." - She fell in her mom's lap. Her mom caressed her hair. 

"Yeah, baby!" - Her mom replied.

"Am i ugly?" - She asked. 

"No... Who said? How can a mermaid princess be ugly? You're the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life..." - Her mom said in an instant. 

"If that true, then why I had to deal with this?" - Anika cried. Anusha, her mom, couldn't hold back her tears when she heard those words from her baby's lips. She lost all the strength. But she can't let her daughter in that state. 

"Get Up, Baby..." - Her mom made her sit from her lap. Wiping off her tears, she sat up and looked at her mom. 

"Now listen to me carefully..." - Her mom asked while caressing her face. 

"Life will not be constant, and who said you're ugly... Whomsoever says that You know what my answer for them will be. Please get a pair of eyes to see my daughter's beauty. My daughter is the most beautiful woman in the world, and it will take some time for them to differentiate which is the real beauty. You know what's the real beauty?" - She asked. 

"What?"- Anika asked her. 

"The one which people see through their heart, not from their eyes... Only those are the real people and those who difficult to see it was just an illusion and pity people who didn't even have the spark to the reality..." - Her mom said. 

"And you, my baby, I am damn sure, one day, The prince charming of my mermaid princess will knock your door, Will see you through his heart, and love you deeply to the core, and that day, you will realize you are the most beautiful girl in the universe..."  - Her mom added but she signed disbelief and fell back in her lap. 

"Fairy tales don't exist, Mom" - She said. Tears crossed from her Anusha's eyes sensing her daughter's insecurity. She just lost herself. Her mom's word didn't reach her broken heart, Anika was depressed thinking everything happening in her life because of her outer appearance and there were none to ease her pain. 

Anusha shifted her to the bed when she fell asleep in her lap. Even though she felt very weak to move, She moved to the kitchen along with the diary in which she had shivaay's images. Even she felt very weak throughout the body, She wanted to do it at least for her peace of mind. She turned on the fire in the stove. 

"What are you doing mom?" - Her mom turned back when she heard bhavya's voice from behind. She towards her and took the diary from her hand and opened it. 

"It's didi's classmate..." - Bhavya exclaimed. 

"The one I want to erase it from my daughter's life..." - Anusha exclaimed in an angry tone. Bhavya looked at her shockingly as she connected all the dots with her sister. 

"I never ever going to leave him alone..." - Bhavya murmured in anger. 

"He left the country permanently... And I need a promise from you, Bhavya..." - Her mom asked her. 

"I don't know how many days left in my fate but I don't want this human to come back in my daughter's life ever. You might be confused, Why is your mom asking something for your elder sister? But you know about your sister, She will believe anyone so easily, Even someone, Who don't deserve her. Be with her, Like you always did... Promise me..." - Her mom asked her, Holding her mom's hand in her right hand, She burnt the diary in the stove with her left. Over then, She made up her mind that her sister deserves the best and Shivaay shouldn't suppose to cross her in her life ever again. 

"Can you take you to your room, Baby?" - Her mom asked bhavya when she could step another step on her own. After the diary turned into ashes. Bhavya helped her mom and on her way to their room, Her father helped them and she slept next to anika. 

"Mom..." - Anika whispered when she felt her mom's arms around her shoulders. 

"Yeah Princess, Hugging you..." - Her mom murmured back, On her mom's either side it was bhavya who back hugged her and cried silently, Next to her it was her dad, Who provided his arm for all the three as a pillow. They were hugging each other so tightly. 

"Take care of my dolls..." - Her mom whispered to her dad when she heard soft snores of anika and bhavya from her either sides. 

"Till my last breath..."  - Harsh whispered back, Tears crossed his eyes when he said that. 

"Don't be so strict... If they do anything wrong, try to correct them. If they didn't listen, let them make their own mistakes and learn from them. But don't leave them detached" - Anusha whispered. Harsh let his breathe out when he couldn't take the pain in her words, Longer. 

"Go for vacations with them,"

"Nothing for husband..." - He asked her finally, The tears she held up in her eyes, escaped. 

"I don't know what to say, Be happy... I will live in their smiles... Infact they are smiling like me..." - She said, Her father could stop him from giving her forehead kiss. 

"I love you..." - He whispered, She didn't reply anything because she knew if she says, He will loose his control over his emotions. She remained silent, Meaning full silence. It was their last meaning silence because the sun raised only for three of them, For Anusha, It was her last day.

Description: After the reboot. 

Anika's board exams got over before 5 days, And over these twenty days shivaay tried to call her, Have a conversation with her, But Anika was being Anika and was very adamant and she still believes that shivaay became close to her only because Her mom has brain tumor. She never thought it will end like that, But Shivaay was very keen in explaining her everything, He was ready to confess everything to her even though she didn't believe him. He just wanted her back and he knew he will win her back if she listens to him once. 

Pinky and Shakthi left to states leaving om and Shivaay in the house as shivaay was preparing for his entrance exams. Shivaay always come late to his home, And the past few days, He was in a very depressed state. It became his routine, Heading towards to her house in the evening after the exams, Message and call her continuously which she never responds, But he didn't loose his hope over her. 

Bhavya noticed him and told it to anika who wasn't interested in any of that, But she felt very pity for him and all were so weak to think anything beyond their mom. But the soft corner for shivaay automatically created in everyone's heart for shivaay except anika who was failing to hear her heart and was overruled by her brain and it's logic. 

"Anika... What are you doing?" - Her mom asked out of patience when she was giving her foot massage with the hot bag. 

"Is it too hot?" - Anika immediately took the hot bag from her leg. 

"Not that, I am asking you, Shivaay was waiting for you outside for you, At least talk to him once..." - Her mom blast at her. She kept the hot bag back to leg and massaged and acted like not hearing anything. 

"Anika, I am talking to you..." - Her mom called in a cold tone. 

"Mom... He is the one to tell me about your condition, And nothing was real mom, He felt pity for me, That's why he did that... He will wait for me for a few days and eventually move on in his life... Okay..." - She opened up to her. 

"So that's why he saved your number as 'fairy' in his phone Because he felt pity for you..." - Her mom asked. She was shocked to learn about it. She didn't get convinced. 

"Mom, He's pretending, One day he will get tired and move on eventually, I don't want to step in and complicate everything..." - Anika said while massaging her hands. 

"He will never get tired of it, You know why, Because he's not pretending... He loves you, I can see it in his eyes..." - Her mom said. 

"Love? Where that word come from?" - She asked her mom. 

"Ani... I was wrong, You know what, You are strong than others... And you coped it up the situation with your brain by hurting your heart. Only stronger people can do that, I understand... Sorry for underestimating you..." - Her mom told in a cold tone. 

"Mom... You are seeing me as a strong person because I am not involving my heart in it... If i involve it, You will witness the most weakest person in this world and i know you can't able to see like that..." - Anika said and went out of her room to bring her medicines. 

Over then, Shivaay was outside their house and sitting in the barricade while looking at her room window. He still hoped that she will be ready to listen to him once. 

"So, Sir was spending his time here by sitting in the barricade..." - He heard om's voice having two cups of coffee in his hand. Shivaay was shocked to see him over there.

"Don't try to explain to me anything... I can understand" - Om said and gave coffee to him.

"So she's the reason behind your change?" - Om asked him, He chuckled.

"You indirectly asking me to explain everything..." - Shivaay replied to him with a smile. 

"Seriously bro, Even though we born from the same mom, I have no idea about your private life, I know you have gone a couple of dates but I never thought I will see you in front of some girl's house, One day. You're not looking like a Devdas type..."- Om said in one go. 

"Yeah, It's my mistake of not noticing a sweet brother like you..." - Shivaay replied. om's eyes came out in shock. 

"Something happened to you, Talking maturely with dad, Studying for exams, not accepting for extra pocket money...  Now I really want to see her, Shall i peep inside the house?" - Om asked out of curiosity. 

"Your future sister-in-law and don't you dare to peep inside... Her father is a terrorist..." - Shivaay told in a warning tone and Om got stuck with the word Sister-in-law. 

"Are you serious?" - Om asked him.

"As serious as I want to live rest of my life with her" - Shivaay asked him. 

"Then, What happened to you guys?" - Om asked him. 

"She's angry and I am convincing... That's it..." - Shivaay said in a low tone looking at the windows of her room. Om didn't ask anything further but sat next to him. They waited for one hour, one became two and two became three. But om stayed with him. 

"Mom and dad landed in London... Pappa has some work it seems..." - Om said.

"Tarun uncle's birthday party..." - The words slipped from shivaay without his knowledge because in the past he attended that party with his whole family. Over then, He realized the date. His breath choked when he realized it was the same day when her mom died. He stood up from his place in an instant. 

"Who's Tarun? How do you know about him?" - Om asked him. But he moved towards her house and started examining the whole house. 

"What are you doing, Now?" - Om asked him. 

"I want to go inside..." - He exclaimed in an impatient tone. And jumped into the wall. 

"Bhai... We can go inside by knocking the door, Also" - He said but accompanied his brother. They jumped to the balcony and entered the house through the balcony. It was too dark but Om stayed with him. 

"Bhai... You became mad, What will happen if anyone catches us?" -  Om asked shivaay more like a whisper. 

"Shut up, You insisted to see her, Know" - Shivaay whispered back and they both crossed each and every room. But Anika wasn't anywhere. 

"Bhai... Where is she?" - Omkara whispered in a scared tone. 

"I am also confused like you, You have no idea what will happen if her terrorist father catches us..." - He whispered in a scariest tone. 

"Shivaay, What are you doing here?" - They both heard the hard male voice from their back. Shivaay gulped his throat and had no energy to turn back and face him. 

"Mummy..." - Om exclaimed in a crying tone but didn't turn back. 

"Shivaay beta, What are you doing here?" -  Shivaay got his breath back when he heard her mom's voice. And he turned back with a smile. Her father's arms were crossed, Her mom was standing next to her father with a slight smile. Following his brother, Om turned back and smiled sheepishly towards them. 

"Actually, Aunty... Are you alright?" - Shivaay asked her mom directly. 

"Doing good, Came here for Anika, Right? Come, I will take you to her room" she said and walked along with him, Om had to stay with her father when he asked om to follow him.  When she found it very difficult to walk, Shivaay held her palms and take her towards her room. She was sleeping, Holding her pillows tightly. After four days, Shivaay gets to see her closely. 

"We had a fight today..." - Her mom said to shivaay, And asked him to take a seat in the chair opposite to the bed, And her mom sat in the bed next to her.  

"Why? What happened?" - He asked her in a low tone. 

"I defended you, She lost her patience... And shivaay, Sorry It's all happened because of me, Right" - Her mom apologized. 

"Mom... What are you saying? We are not separated, She just angry with me. Even she wishes She can't stay without me, longer..." - Shivaay said in a flow. Anusha got stuck with the word 'mom' he used in his sentence and his confidence gave her hope that he will never give up on her for any cause. 

"Sorry... It just slipped from my mouth..."  - Shivaay corrected as soon as possible. 

"Don't need to say, At least, I got to hear it..." - Anusha said. Shivaay slightly became emotional but controlled the tears. 

"And I know too young to think about your future... But I can sense it, You are too serious about her and this girl was not ready to believe it..." - Anusha added. 

"She's in shock, Right now... Everything happened so suddenly, Right... Everything will become normal one day, Mom..." - He said while looking at her. 

"I know... My mermaid Princess..." - Her mom kissed her forehead. 

"Mermaid Princess... Ariel..." - Shivaay added with a smile. 

"It was her favorite movie... When she was three, She used to ask me, Mumma, When will my price eric come? I think Now I got an answer..." - Her mom said with a smile. Shivaay smiled at her back. 

"I have a gift for you..." - She said and moved towards her cupboard and took the dairy out from it. 

"I found it while taking her dress... Open it..." - Her mom gave the diary to him. He was too surprised to see his images in the diary. He recalled once anika told him that she collected his images and pasted it in a diary but she lost it. Then, He didn't believe her but now, Seeing it before his eyes, He just couldn't control his tears. 

"It's my gift... Never ever give up on her even though she give up on you..." - Her mom said. 

"You're underestimating your daughter... She will never ever give up on me..." - Shivaay said, Shivaay shared his number to his mom and asked her to call him if she needs anything from her. 

"Shall i save it as Prince Eric" - her mom asked him, He chuckled. 

"You can save it" - He replied. 

"In what name you are saving my number?" - Her mom asked. 

"Fairy's mom..." - He said with a smile, Their entire conversation was heard by anika but she didn't wake up, Tears crossed her eyes when she realized his determination over her and she was realized she was too wrong and started to accept the reality finally.

Soon shivaay left her room with the diary along with her mom. On the other hand, Om got trapped by her father. He felt relieved when he saw Shivaay climbing down from the stairs holding Anusha's hand. 

"Who are you to him?" - Harshavarthan Trivedi asked him. 

"Brother..." - Om said in a scared tone. 

"So partner in crime..." - Harsh asked him in a cold tone. 

"That's what the meaning of the brother..." - Om replied, her father got impressed with his answers but didn't show it in his face. 

"Brother came... Bye uncle... Nice to meet you..." - Om said and rushed to his brother. Saying bye to everyone, Shivaay and om left.

"Next time, Knock the door, I will be there to open the door..." - Harsh said in a high pitch. 

"It's better to jump inside rather witnessing the Osama by knocking in the door, Bhai..." - Om said, Shivaay controlled his chuckle but didn't fail to turn around and nodding yes.
