Why Philosophy Matters (first draft)

Philosophy comes from the two greek words "philein" and "sophia", which translates to lover of wisdom. Philosophy is the foundation of critical thinking, and it's especially important because science can't answer everything. For example, can science tell you why people act the way they do? Well, perhaps neuroscience can, but so can philosophy. Philosophy helps you understand the ways others act and will let you live a fuller life. So as you can see, philosophy matters in nearly every aspect of our life. Or something like that.
