"Um, what's your name again?" I ask.

"Oh! I didn't tell you? I'm Elexabeth. For now." She raises an eyebrow and turns back around. She stops at a light gray Honda Civic.

"Uh- oh, am I getting in a car? With you?" I questioned.

"Well yes, do you see any houses around here?" She rolls her eyes.

I climb in the passenger seat. There are french fries all around and the car smells of... car.

She notices my grimacing and chuckles. "I would apologize for the mess, but I don't feel like it." She laughs. Her eyes sparkle as the morning sunlight hits them and her nose crinkles, so, so adorably. She stops and stares at me. I can't take my eyes away. We stare at each other for probably 5 minutes, until she finally breaks it. I usually don't like eye contact. But Elexabeth was different.

I pull my knees to my chest and rock back and forth, a trait of mine. She starts driving, but once we pull up to a red light, she turns to me.

"You can call me Lexa, by the way." I briefly turn towards her and nod.

"Are you okay?" She asks. I turn to her and my breath hitches. Her eyes are a deep ocean of green colors, swirling around, thrashing even. I could get lost in her eyes.

She looks down and then back up at me. Her face is pink.

"Well, are you?" She asks again.

"Um, yes, I'm great." I reply. Quickly. Was it too quickly? I don't want her to thing I'm overeager. Or weird. Her T-Shirt is really cool. It reads, "Just a gal living in communist Czechoslovakia who turned into a roach." I smile. I loved that book. Her body fills out the shirt really well. Wait, why am I thinking this? That's gross!

I sigh and look away, out her window.
