"That's the essence Neeks. Love. I love you you love me. Nothing else matters. Why should we worry about what the others think?" Will Solace asks his boyfriend. The younger boy shakes. Mean words shouted from across a lake. "I-i...do-don't...kn-know...?" His lungs feel like they're going to collapse. That was the only time Will had seen.

Will, Reyna, Thalia, Hazel, Kayla, Percy, Annabeth, Jason, and Piper had all seemed to appeared from thin air as soon as the the first punch was thrown. Two new campers.
One raised in a homophobic household, that shared his family's beliefs.

Will kisses his boyfriends nose. "What's wrong sweetie? I can feel that you are hurting."
"H-how...?"
"Apollo crap."
"Oh."
"What's wrong baby?"
"We w- would... need... to go t-to my cab-cabin." When the boys get to Nicos cabin, Will looks at him expectantly. Nico tells him about the bullying, that time he didn't come to his cabin because Chris stopped him. He pinned him against the wall. He beat him, touched him, hurt him, mentally and physically. Then Nico cries. Will hold him tightly. Then for the first time he hears Will cuss, and threaten to hurt somebody. "I will fucking murder him." Nico puts a hand on his cheek. "No Will. I'm not worth being that upset about." Will looks down in to his boyfriend teary brown eyes. "You are worth more than life it's self Nico. I don't give two shits what Chris says."
Nico shakes his head sadly. "Why? Why do you care about me so much? It won't be hard to find another like me."
"No, there is only one of you. And I love him." Nico smiled a little. "I love you too." Then Will hugs Nico so tightly he's sure every bone in his body is going to crack. He kisses him so tenderly he's sure that the world has dissolved. And they sit there on Nicos bed, kisses salty from tears. Pulled so close to one another that they are virtually one. They share there the pain, love, happiness, sadness. Nico is Wills and Will is Nicos. That's all that matters.
