...Avenger's facility..10:47 AM...

"The Capt  wants to speak with you,Ivy," Harriet Subman said.  This agent prefers to be called Agent Subman.

I leap over a flying dummy right in the way of it  then deliver a hard kick  at the chest of the dummy knocking it off.

"Okay,"  I said, in my Ant-Girl suit.

"Nice moves," Agent Subman said.

"That is Natasha's moves," I said.

"I can't believe Natasha has been teaching you," Agent Subman said.

"That is because she hasn't," I said. "I am good at observing."

Well, really, during one of my missions while being the size of a ant I saw Natasha kicking butt. I concluded then that I will eventually get my own enemy capable of doing what I am in due time so it is best to be ready at hand to hand combat.

"Were you small at the time?" Agent Subman asks.

"Yes," I said.

Agent Subman's jaw drops.

"Natasha hasn't met you, yet,"  Agent Subman said.

"We have a winner!" I said, waving my arms in the air.

"Not funny," Agent Subman said.

"Ill timed joke, again," I said. "I should be the queen of terribly placed jokes!"

There has recently been a new and only temporary addition to the suit. What is the addition? It is a helmet resembling a ant head including antenna's but minus the two side parts beside the edges  of the mouth that have a  name I am not too keen on. I walk down the hall in my Ant-Girl suit with my eyes lowered towards the floor. For a fact I have seen 'Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!' that was quite the movie.

My helmet was made by a helmet engineering whiz. Who is this helmet engineering whiz capable of being labled the next big inventor?  That, my friend, is Philip Adamson!  Philip Adamson, the helmet engineering whiz. Not Anthony 'Tony' Stark. Yes, I did my research about Tony Stark when I was writing a fanfiction that involved a scene in the past between a character Tony Stark.  I depart the training room breezing past Agent Subman.

Walking around with a helmet on that has dark lenses is pretty handy.

No one can see my face.

Nor my eyes.

But I can see everyone else.

Some people look at me strangely and a few laughed. Most of whom are agents. Agents of Shield probably. I kept my head up thinking ow lucky I am to be in the suit of a heroine not typical in the Marvel fandom! There's rarely a colored heroine, counting Captain Marvel. I only know of Captain Marvel because of an article on Yahoo explaining about a comic book series featuring her.  make my way into Steve's office.

"Ooh lalala," I said, bending over in the doorway to Steve's office. Mine!, I thought.  "Lucky penny!"

I pick up the penny.

"Picking up pennies is going to be the death of you, one of these days," Steve said.

I straighten up walking into the room.

"You wish!" I said, with a laugh tucking the penny into my right pocket.

"No," Steve said. "I do not."

"I was being sarcastic," I said, rolling an eye. "Apparently my sarcasm skills are worse than my humor in  the MCU."

"Sounds like you were not being sarcastic, to me," Steve said.

I look over seeing a couple people coming down the hallway.

"What is the mission?" I ask, closing the door behind.

"This isn't a mission," Steve said.  I raise my eyebrow puzzled by the reply. "This task is meant for you."

"What is the task?" I ask, curious.

"Follow Angela Da'Grio," Steve said. "Rumors say she is spy from Hydra."

I lower my eyebrow.

"You can always ask her yourself," I said.

Steve leans forward placing his hands on the table in a fist.

"I want proof before I do that," Steve said. "I take this kind of rumors very serious."

"So I am your rumor debunker," I said, folding my arms.

"More of a investigator," Steve said.

"I am good at that," I said, unfolding my arms.

Steve looks at me, oddly.

"...Ivy, where did you get that helmet?" Steve asks, noticing what I am wearing.

"Philip Adamson," I said, beaming a smile. "The whiz helmet guy."

"It is way too big on your head," Steve said. "Honestly, the helmet is bigger than a motorcyclist helmet."

"It does?" I ask.

"Yes,"  Steve said, with a nod. "And you look like a bobblehead."

 I laugh.

"And heavy," I note.

"Seriously," Steve said. "Get a light weight one."

"I will," I said, opening the door. "Right away."

...Philip Adamson's lab...

"Hello, Ant-Girl," Philip said, as I lean against the door. Philip turns around to reveal that big headed set with huge microscope like lenses similar to the one's Doctor Brown from 'Back to The Future' wore. Or did he? I must be thinking of the beginning scene from 'Inspector Gadget' the live action movie that is both quirky and memorable as 'Back to The Future'. "What cha' here for?"

I take off my helmet then slide the super hero themed mask over my face.

"It is way too big on me," I said. "Make it the size of a actual helmet!"

I toss the helmet to Philip.

"Oh," Philip said, catching the way big helmet in his arms. "You wanted big so I gave you big."

"I didn't mean that big," I said, folding my arms. "You know my frequency number."

"Course I do!" Philip said. "I adjusted your mask frequency!"

I laugh turning away.

"I'll be back in a hour for a new one,"  I said.

"What are you going to do for a hour?" Philip asks.

I look over my shoulder with a smirk.

"You know how devious I am," I said.

Philip has a slight nod.

"Of course!" Philip said. "I recall."
