Hajime's Third Person P.O.V.

"Hajime? Would you please hang out with me as a friend?"

The request took Hajime entirely by surprise, causing him to step backward a bit.

"Oh... sorry. I probably shouldn't have asked you. It's fine... Just... forget about it." Ko started to turn around.

"N-no!" Hajime yelled.

Ko glanced over his shoulder.

"I would like to hang out with you!"

"Really? You're not playing with me, right?"  Ko asked suspiciously.

"No! Of course not! Why would I do that?" Hajime furrowed his eyebrows.

"Just making sure..." Ko stuck his tongue out.

"What do you want to do then?"

Ko looked at the ground in embarrassment, shuffling his feet.

"Well... it's my birthday tomorrow, and I was wondering if you and I could go to the town festival."

Hajime looked at the albino strangely.

"Ah. Forgive me. It's fine if you don't want to go..."

"No, no, no. I'll go with you." Hajime smiled.

Internally, the brunette was throwing a fit. Tomorrow was Ko's birthday, and he had nothing to give the albino. Well, ShIiT-aKi MuShROoMS.

"But I'm just curious about one thing," Hajime put up a finger. "Why did your personality change all of a sudden? I know you're bipolar and all, but... I've never seen this side of you."

Ko was silent for a moment.

"You like the dominant side of me better than my submissive? Wow, Hajime. But I could turn back if you wanted." Ko grinned.

Hajime'a face flushed.

"It's not like that! It's just new to me. That's all."

Ko pinched his cheeks.

"Awww. Hajime is getting all blushy wushy."

Holy ducks. Was Ko okay?

The albino suddenly turned around in the circle, his back facing the brunette as a fit of coughs racked his body.

"Ko? Did you choke again?" Hajime's voice turned concerned.

"Yeah," Another cough, "Just swallowed at the wrong time again. Haha."

The albino's chest heaved when he finished coughing, taking in deep breaths to stop his shaky lungs.

"We still need Kirigiri's consent to go to the festival though," Hajime said.

"Oh, that's easy." Ko replied with a smirk on his face.

The servant walked over to Makoto, his lips close to the brunette's ear as he whispered something to him.

Insantly, Makoto dashed off to Kirigiri, who was sitting on a bench, waiting for Ko and Hajime to finish up their conversation. He kneeled on the ground before her, his arms stretched out in front of him.

"Please Kyoko! Pleaaaaaseee!!!" Makoto bowed to the lilac haired detective.

"We have more important things to do than go to a festival." She sighed.

Ko shot her a quick glance, but Hajime couldn't see what expression was plastered on the albino's face.

Whatever it was, though, it quickly changed the detective's mind.

"Maybe." She answered.

Makoto's eyes darkened. Shivers crawled down Hajime's spine. What was he planning to do?

Opening his eyes as wide as he could, Makoto flashed Kirigiri his signature puppy dog eyes.

"Pleaaaaaaseee," He begged.

Kirigiri was too slow, and didn't shut her eyes in time before Makoto shot his puppy dog eyes.

"...Fine. But you have to promise me that this is the last of our free time before we begin our revolt. Understood?"

"YES KIRIGIRI-SENPAI! WHATEVER YOU SAY!" Makoto danced around with joy.

"There's your answer," Ko appeared next to Hajime out of thin air, giving him quite the fright.

"Yeesh, Ko. You really need to teach me how to pop out of nowhere and scare people like that." Hajime rubbed the back of his head.

Ko laughed.

                                          ~
Hajime immediately ran into a problem.

It was Ko's birthday, and also the day of the festival.

The brunette had nothing to give his friend, nor a yukata to wear.

He was so screwed. What can he do now?

Ko appeared out of the bathroom with a blue striped yukata that stopped at his ankles, along with a pair of brown sandals.

"Hajime? Haven't you changed yet?" Ko tilted his head.

"Uh..." Hajime froze in his tracks.

Ko's eyes widened.

"Hajime! You should have told me sooner that you didn't have a yukata! I would have happily lent one to you!" He grabbed the brunette by his arms.

"Ko? What are you-"

Throwing open his closet doors, the albino dug through various boxes of different sixes, before eventually pulling out a faded dark green and white striped yukata.

He threw it at Hajime.

"Wear it."

"But, this is yours!"

Ko smirked.

"Which makes it even better. Hajime? In MY clothes? It's adorable." He sighed.

Hajime's ears steamed at the tips.

"I-I'll just go get dressed now..." He mumbled, excusing himself to escape from Ko's teasing.

Surprisingly enough, the yukata fit the olive eyed boy perfectly. He placed on his sandals, completing the outfit.

"How do I look?" He asked Ko.

The albino's mouth was slightly agape in awe.

"Your ribbon is untied." He simply spoke.

"That doesn't answer my question..." Hajime sweatdropped.

Ko's pale fingers carefully took the sash around the brunette's waist and tied it into a  bow at the back of the outift, securing it to the other male's body.

Hajime felt Ko's hot breath near his ear as he spoke.

"You look hot." He whispered, slightly licking his earlobe.

Hajime's hand quickly flew to his ear, covering it.

His face turned a thousand shades of red as embarrassment boiled deep inside of him.

Ko laughed so hard at the brunette, he fell to the ground clutching his stomach. That was a bad idea.

As soon as he stopped laughing, the albino started coughing, hacking into the crook of his elbow.

He rushed to the bathroom, slamming the door behind him in a hurry.

Was Ko sick? Even though the servant had denied it before, Hajime still was under the suspicion that Ko was hiding his sickness from him. However, since Ko didn't want Hajime to care for him, he guessed that he shouldn't pry.

Coming out as if nothing had happened, Ko asked the brunette if he needed to use the bathroom before they left for the festival.

"Eh? Sure." Hajime wasn't sure why that was actually necessary for the albino to ask him, but he went anyways.

Shutting the door behind him, Hajime's olive eyes caught something lying on the floor next to the toilet.

Bending over, he picked it up, observing the item.

It was a white rose petal.

I'm not a pervert. I swear. I only get these ideas from fanfiction fluff.

Also this was obviously boring. No fluff. No nothing. I'm just trying to smooth out the plot and fill in the holes I made along the way.

Terribly sorry >\\\\<
