{Note:- Anubhav and Hassena are dating each other from sometime}

Anubhav was working in his cabin with a file. Suddenly, his mobile rang. It was Commisioner sir. He answered the call, and Commisioner informed about an important meeting about the discussion of Night Security in Lucknow, after two days. He also gave work of completing a presentation about it.

Anubhav agreed and disconnected the call. He signed heavily and sat on his chair. He placed his hand on his abdomen.

"Hey Bholenath! Yeh pedha kam hone ka naam bhi nahi le rahi hai. Kya kare? Itna kaam hai, upar yeh pet dard ne jeena mushkil kar diya hai. Nahi Anubhav Mahashya iss sab ka samay nahi hai.", He thought.

He removed some pain relief pills and got back to work. He was suffering from Stomach ache and it was getting severe day by day but he was Continuously ignoring it.

Meanwhile, Hassena entered his cabin and Saluted her. He looked at her and formally saluted her. Actually, they had a little fight some days before and weren't talking personal stuffs with each other.

"Kahiye Hassena ji kis karya hetu ayi hai aap yaha?", He said looking at the file.

"Voh hum aapko weakly report submit karne aye hai.", She said. "Aur kuch puchne bhi aye hai aapse, lekin aapne senior se nahi hamare boyfriend se baat karni hai kuch samay ke liye", she said cutely.

"Hassena Mallik, humare paas samay nahi hai aap please yaha se jaeye, sham ko off duty honge tab baat karenge", he said sternly.

"Par...", Hassena said but Anubhav interrupted. "Aapse kaha na humne ki humare paas samay nahi hai, samajh kyu nahi rahi hai", he said in irritated voice.

Hassena felt bad due to his tone.

"Jai Hind sir!", She said sadly.

"Bekar mein humne saara gussa Hassena ji par nikal diya, kitna bura laga hoga unhe. Hum bhi na!", He said, sad and disappointed by himself. "Koi baat nahi hum unhe baad mein mana lenge"

Two days later,

It was time for the important meeting Commissioner was talking about. Anubhav was not well but for him his duty was very much important. Taking pain relief pills he attended the meeting.

Hassena too had attended the meeting with other SHO s. Anubhav was presenting the presentation he prepared. But, suddenly his pain increased.

He somehow completed the presentation. He was feeling uneasy all the time, and Hassena was the only one who understood something was wrong with him.

When all left Hassena came to Anubhav.

"Sir!", She called out.

He turned towards her plastering a forced smile on his face,"Ji kahiye Hassena ji, kya baat hai?"

"Sir, jab se meeting shuru hui hai tab se dekh rahe hai ki aap kuch thik nahi hai. Aapko koi taklif hai kya?", She asked out of concern.

"Hum bilkul thik hai Hassena ji, aap nischint hokar jaeye.", He said but placed his hand on his abdomen as the pain increased.

Hassena looked at him and held his hand,"kya khak thik hai aap? Saaf saaf dikh raha hai ki aapko pet mein dard ho raha hai. Sach sach bataeye ki kitne dino se yeh pet dard kar raha hai aapka?", She said faking anger.

"Ek hafte se!", He said nervously.

"Kya?", She gave a look of disbelief to him. He closed his eyes in fear. "Ek hafte se aapko pet mein dard ho raha hai aur aapne dhyaan nahi diya. Pata nahi kya kare hum aapka...", She scolded.

"Hume dard ho raha hai aur aap hume da...", He said in pain but before he could say anything further, he fell unconscious.

"Anubhav!", Hassena patted his cheeks in fear and concern.

At Hospital,

Hassena was waiting outside and Doctor had taken Anubhav for the checkup. Hassena saw Doctor coming towards her. She stood up.

"Doctor, kya baat hai? Anubhav thik toh haina?", She asked.

"Dekhiye, unki halat thodi serious hai. Unhe acute appendicitis ki problem ho gayi hai. Lagta hai bohot dino se unhe yeh taklif hai. Vomiting aur fever bhi aya hoga lekin unhone kisi ko bataya nahi. Aur sach kahe toh hume unki jald se jald surgery karni padegi."

"Voh thik toh ho jayenge na?", Hassena asked.

"Ha bilkul baas surgery ke ek do hafte ke baad voh bilkul thik ho jayenge.", Doctor said. "Lekin usse pehle kuch formalities hai. Agar inki family yaha aa jati toh acha hota"

"No problem doctor. Actually, main inki girlfriend hun. But, koi baat nahi main inki mother aur behen ko bula deti hun", she informed.

"It's okay!", Doctor left.

After two hours,

Maa and Karishma were in Anubhav's ward. Anubhav who was quietly sitting while the two ladies were staring at him angrily.

"Na matlab dikkat ka hai aapko Bhaiya? Kahe khayal nahi rakhte aap aapna? Aapko pata hai jab Bhabhi ne hume bataya ki aapko operation ka jarurat padega tab ka biti hai sabke upar.", Karishma scolded.

"Hamari baat toh suniye...", Anubhav tried to speak but stopped when he received a deadly glare from his mother.

"Kitni baar kaha hai Anu maine tujhe ki khud ka dhyaan rakha kar, lekin nahi.... Sirf kaam kaam kaam aur kaam...", Maa said angrily.

"Hume maaf kar dijiye na abhi... Hamara operation bhi baki hai, baad mein jitni daant lagani hai laga lijiye", he said clutching his ears with a cute face.

Both the ladies chuckled. And Anubhav followed them.

"Vaise Hassena ji kaha hai?", He asked hesitantly.

"Bhaiya voh humko lagta hai ki Bhabhi aapse naraj hai, isilye kuch kahe bina hi chali gayi", she replied.

Suddenly, the door flew open. All three Looked at door. Hassena was standing there, she was in salwar kurti. She silently walked towards Anubhav and took his hand in hers. All exchanged confused looks. She removed a black coloured thread and tied it around his wrist and turned towards Maa.

"Actually Maa voh hum Dargah gaye the, vahi se yeh paak dhaaga laye hai.", She smiled at Maa and Karishma. They smiled too. "Aab koi khud ka dhyaan rakhe ya na rakhe par hume toh rakhna chahiye na", she taunted Anubhav.

Anubhav raised his eyebrows at the three ladies as they exchanged smiles. He frowned as they ignored him Royally.

Next morning,

Hassena pushed the ward door open and saw Anubhav sleeping under the effect of anesthesia. She smiled at him, going towards his sleeping figure, she sat beside his bed.

"Kitne cute lagte hai Anubhav sote hue", she thought.

She raised his hand and moved her fingers in his hair locks. She put her index finger on his forehead and moved it downwards tracing his eyes, nose, cheeks and lastly his lips. She blushed when he smiled in his sleep.

All of a sudden, she realised what she was doing. She took her hand back and her expression Turned serious.

"Anubhav, dekha aapne laparvahi ka natija. Kitni baar kehte rehte hai ki aapne kaam ko aapne routine par jyada effect mat karne dijiye. Lekin nahi, na sone ka time na khaane ka. Upar se har hafte apako chat ki dukan par pakad lete hai aapko. Aaise ulta seedha routine rakhenge toh kya expect kar rahe the aap. Agar aainda aapne aaisa kiya na toh hum puri zindagi aapse baat nahi karenge.", Hassena said to him, some tears formed in her eyes.

But, unknown to her his sleep had broke a long ago. He was feeling guilty for giving tension to his loved ones. He thought it all happened because of his carelessness.

He opened his eyes in a jerk. Hassena saw this and wiped her tears quickly. She got up to go but Anubhav held her wrist and gently pulled her on him. She landed on him but luckily placed her hands on his either sides so she won't fall on him.

"Hume maaf kar dijiye na Hassena ji. Aapko, Maa ko, Behna ko kitni taklif di hume. Hamari laparvahi ke karan aapko itni peeda hui", he said in guilt.

"Hume taklif hui hai Anubhav...", She said. He looked at her. "Hume taklif hui hai kyuki aapko taklif hui. Hum pyaar karte hai Anubhav aapse.... Sirf hum hi nahi Maa aur Karishma bhi. Jab bhi aapko kisi taklif mein dekhte hai hamare seene mein dard hota hai. Dil mein dard hota hai
Hum aapki taklif aur aapka dard mehsus karte hai", she said and placed a kiss on his forehead.

"Hum samajhte hai... Par kya kare, jab se hum desh ki seva kar rahe hai, kaam mein khud ka khayal rakhna mano jaise bhool hi gaye hai. Samajh nahi ata ki kab khaane ka aur sone ka samay nikal jata hai.", He said softly. "Parantu hum vada karte hai Hassena ji, ki aab se kaam ke saath saath aapna dhyaan rakhne ki bhi puri koshish karenge", he said smiling.

She smiled back and gave a peck on his lips. But, Anubhav grabbed her neck and started kissing her. She was shocked as it was hospital, anyone could see. She tried to break the kiss, but soon failed and participated in the kiss.

After some minutes, they broke off, Hassena wasn't able to meet his heated gaze.

"Hum doctor ko bula kar aate hai"

She avoided eye contact and left the ward. Anubhav smiled at her antics....
